The base a at either side of and above the doors is ornamented by beads and foliated or namcnts of a character so clearly shown in the drawing as to require no minute description. The ring b above the base is of the form of the fi'ustum of a cone, has a lower flange or head, 0, ornamented mica mounted panels i and leaf-like ornaments f between the panels.
The top D of the stove consists of a cap, d, surmounted by an urn, e. The cap is ornanamented by circular rows of beading, some of which are plain, some scalloped and others foliated. The urn e is open-wor its lower portion being composed of a. series of ornamented curved ribs, and the upper portion has a scalloped edging, a. circular row of oval ornaments above the same, and a projecting ornament at the extreme top, of the character clearly shown in the drawing.
I claim- 1. The design for the ornamented base a of the stove and its doors, as described and represented.
2. The design for the illuminating-ring b with its panels and ornaments, asdescribecl and represented.
3. The design for the whole lower portion of the stove, cousistin g of the base a and ring 1;, as shown and described.
4. The design for the top of the stove, including the cap d and urn e, ornamented as described, and as represented in the drawing.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
