At a little distance from both the top and bottom ends of the said section are made relief representations of the girdle 0, consisting of rings and looped straps placed alternate, and encircling the whole section, as shown. The said girdles may be connected with the cords c, or not, as may be desired. The said section is also provided with representations, in relief, of bonfires c, placed at intervals apart, and surrounded with a border, a, as shown. D represents the combustion-chamber section, made with any form of outline. The major portion of the said sec tion is formed of micas d d, which inicas d d are separated from each other by narrow strips of metal 41', excepting at its rear portion, where the metal is more extensive. The lower edges of the said mica-s d are made with a slope more or less curved, while the metal below the same gradually diminishes in height as it is carried to the front of the stove. The metal portion of the said section is divided into panels by the borders d, as shown, and within the said panelsarcreliei'represcntations of torches or ilanibeanx, crossed, as shown. E is the dome section, made with any appropriate form, in which are arranged the several mica lights e a, separated by narrow strips of metal, as shown, so that the said mica lights will constitute the major portion of the said dome. The metal between the mica lights is ornamented with relief representations of torches or flainbeaux e, while their edges are relieved by the moldings a. F is the drum section, which is ornamented with the relief representations of the girdlesff, composed of rin gs and looped straps placed alternate, which girdles are also represented as being connect ed together by the cords f f in relief. The said section is further ornamented by reliel' representations of suspended fire-baskets and a trident of torches, f" f", the baskets appearing to be suspended from a ring or disk, while the torches are represented as standing on the same; and each of the said ornamenrsf are surrounded by the border f, as shown, to give a panel appearance.
