ST. JOHN WOOD, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A CUT STONE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,103, dated October 14, 1902.
Application filed August 15, 1902. Serial No. 119,826. Term ofpatent 14 years.
1'0 al whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ST. JOHN WOOD, of New York, county and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Out Stone, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a viewin plan of a top of a cut stone embodying my design, and Fig. 2 a view of the same in side elevation.
The object of my invention is the production of a new, original, and ornamental design for a cut stone; and to this end my invention consists in the design for a cut stone, substantially as hereinafter specified.
My design, viewed in plan, has radiating from the center a series of pentagonal figures a, which converge, meeting in an apex, as will be seen by reference to Fig. 2, and a second series of similar figures Z), that radiate, respectively, from the figures a, their points being toward the edge or girdle of the stone and forming a star-shape figure. Between the two series of figures a and bis a series of smaller pentagonal figures 0, their pointed ends being toward the stone center, and between each pair of adjacent pentagonal figu res b and an adjacent figure c are two quadrilateral figures d.
The outline of a bottom is illustrated in Fig. 2 in a conventional way by dotted lines.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is The ornamental design for a cut stone, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand.
