PATENT OFFICE.
JOHN J. DITTGEN, OF MADISONVILLE, OHIO.
DESIGN FOR A CIGAR-POUCH.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,476, dated April 10, 1900.
I Application filed March '7, 1900. Serial No. 7,736. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN J. DITTG-EN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Madisonville, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Cigar-Pouch; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a face view showing the cigarpouch embodying my newdesign, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same.
As shown in the accompanying drawings, the leading or material feature of the new design is a pouch in general rectangular form having on one face, as 1, a plurality of parallel broken or dotted lines or marks 2 2, dividing the face 1 of the pouch into a plurality of elongated parallel bands 3 3, each of which has a longitudinal stripe or panel 4, having a roughened surface. The stripes or panels 4 of the several bands 3 are parallel with each other and are similarly located and of like contour, and the portions of the dotted or broken lines 2 are separated from each other by plain spaces 5 5, which connect the bands 3 3 with each other.
The sides 6 of the pouch areformed with central longitudinal lines or marks 7 and with narrow marginal borders 8 8 at opposite sides, theseborders being connected together at one end of the pouch, as shown at 9.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a cigar-pouch, substantially as herein shown and described.
JOHN J. DITTGEN.
