Be it known that 1, WILLIAM N. PELOUZE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ohicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Blank for a Scale Frame or Box, of which the following, in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact specification.

Figure l is a plan View of a blank for a scale frame or boX embodying my design; and

Fig. 2 is a transverse section thereof, taken on the line 2 2, Fig. l.

The leading features of my design consist of a blank for a scale frame or box comprising the portion A and the portion 13, projecting from the side thereof. The portion or member A is of substantially oblong form and rounded at each end, as shown at O. The diametrically opposite sides of the member A are substantially parallel and straight save for a number of angular protuberances a on one of these edges and the member or portion 13, extending from the other one. end of the member A has a surface ornamen- Each tation D, composed of various scrolls and sprays or twigs, and between these ornamentations D is arranged a narrower verticallyelongated ornamentation E, also composed of similar scrolls and twigs. The member A is arranged opposite one end of the surface ornamentation E, and it is substantially oblong in general outline, With its longest diameter extending at right angles to the longest diameter of the member A. The sides or longer edges of the member 13 are scalloped, as shown at b, and above the center is located a pair of perforations b b of different sizes, while surrounding these is an oblong rib or Welt F.

The design for a blank for a scale frame or box substantially as herein shown and described.
