DESIGN FOR A CORNER-PIECE FOR COFFINS AND GASKETS.
Application filed September 11, 1914. Serial No. 861,311.
To all 107mm it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADOLPH M. HOLSTEIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Corner-Piece for Cofiins and Caskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.
In the drawing, Figures 1, 2 and 3 are, respectively, side and front elevations and top plan view of my design for a corner piece for coffins and caskets.
This design for a corner piece for coflins comprises angularly arranged lengthwise faces having a lengthwise embossed figure 1 at their juncture, and lengthwise curved depressions 2 at opposite sides of the intermediate portion of the figure 1. The embossed figure 1 is of greatest width at its bottom and is spherical in form at its lower end. Above its spherical lower end the embossed figure 1 is in the form of a stem rounding in cross-section, and of enlarged width between its ends, and contiguous outer Specification for Design.

The upper portions of the outer edges of the depressions 2 extend outwardly in concave lines from the central part of the corner piece and the lower portions of said edges extend outwardly in convex lines and terminate in lines extending inwardly toward the spherical end of the figure 1. Above the embossed figure 1 and the depressions 2 are lobes 3.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a corner piece for cofiins and caskets, substantially as shown and described.
