CHARLES KITSCHELT, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR TO N. MULLERS SONS, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15,722, dated January 13, 1885. 1
Application filed October 15, 1834. Term of patent 3* years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be itknown that I, CHARLES KITseHELT, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for a La1np,of which the followingis aful], clear,
and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which fully illustrates the nature of my invention.
The design relates to a lamp; and it consists of a bulb-shaped body supported by feet in the shape of elephants heads and trunks, surmounted by ornamental plumes.
A in the photograph represents the body of my lamp, which body is made bulb-shaped, either plain or hammered. To the lower tapering part of the body A are applied the feet B, which are made in the shape of elephants heads and trunks. The heads B are surmounted by ornamental plumes B. Thelampbody A rests on the trunks of the heads. Ornaments 0, composed of twigs and leaves, are applied to the body of the lamp at points intermediately between the elephants heads.
Having thus described my design, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent 1. The design for a lamp, consisting of a bulbshaped body having feet in the shape of elephants heads and trunks, as shown and described.
2. The 'design for a lamp, consisting of a bulb'shaped body, feet in the shape of elephants heads and trunks, and plumes surmounting the heads, as shown and described.
3. The design for a lamp, consisting of a bulbshaped body, feet in the shape of elephants heads and trunks, and ornaments of twigs and leaves intermediate the elephants heads, as shown and described. v
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed this specification this 25th dayof August, 1884.
