To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, ADOLPH PETZOLD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Rug; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification conveys to any one skilled in the art a clear understanding otthe same, and is sufficient to enable such persons to use my invention.
The leading feature of my design consists in atriple panel-center ornamented by conventional floral figures, as shown in the photographic print. These panels are divided and surrounded by a plain narrow border, A. This narrow border A is surrounded by a wide border. B, ornamented by the representation of a series of twigs or small branches consisting of five leaves. Between each twitgrhis outer surrounding border, C, is formed of a series of squares, the whole as shown in the photographic print accompanying this specification.
The photographic print illustrates and represents one half of the design or rug. The other half, described but not shown, is exactly like it.
What I claim as my invention is- The design for a rug, consisting of a triple panel-center ornamented by floral figures, as shown, a plain narrow border, A, a wide border, B, ornamented by a series of twigs, leaves, and flowers, as shown and described, and an outer narrow border, 0, composed of aseries of squares, the whole as shown and described.
