LANGDON WASHINGTON MOORE,OF BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, ASSIGNOR TO FRANK THOMPSON, OF WEST SWANZEY, NEW HAMPSHIRE.
DESIGN FOR A HAMMOCK-SLING.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 34,307, dated April 2, 1901.
Application tiled March 5, 1901. Serial No. 49.975. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, LANGDON WASHINGTON MOORE, a citizen of the United States, residing` at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hammock-Sling, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying,` drawings, forming part thereof.
Io Figure lis a front elevation of a hammocksling, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of a hammock-sling, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawings7 the leading or I5 material features of my new design consist :in its upper portion of the overhanging curved portions ct ct, that spring from the common part b, from which incline downwardly and outwardly the ribs c. From near the middle zo point of each of the ribs c incline downwardly and inwardly the ribs d, thus inclosing with the ribs c a diamond-shaped opening e. The
lower ends of the ribs c are formed into the outer eyes f, and the lower ends of the ribs d meet to form the middle eye g. The lower portion of my new design is formed of a centraiv curved part h, which incloses a pearshaped opening t'. The upper end of the central part h is formed into a middle eye j, and from the middle portion of the base of the 3o central part h projects outwardly and upwardlya hook-shaped part 7e. From near the middle point of each of the sides of the central part h incline upwardly and outwardly the ribs Z, the upper ends of which are formed into the outer eyes m m. The outer eyes m and the outer eyes f are joined by spirals n fn, and the middle eye g and the middle eye j are joined by a like spiral o.
Having described my invention, what I 4o claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a hammock-sling, as herein shown and described.
