DESIGN FOR A COAL-HOD OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,202, dated September 11, 1900.

To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES DONAGHY, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Phila- 5 ilphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Coal-Hod or Similar Article,of which the following is a specification, reference bein; had to the accompanying drawings, form- 0 ing part hereof, in which- Fign re 1 is a side elevational view of a coalhod or similar article of the design of my invention. Fig. 2 is an end View of the same. Fig. 3 is a top or plan view showing the con- 5 figu ration of the bottom, looking at the same from the inside,and the corrugated and ribbed body of the coal-110d.
The leading or material feature of my design consists of the shape or configuration of :o the coal-hod or similar article.
Referring to the drawings, a is the body, provided with an elongated throat a, the wall of the body and throat being formed with corrugations and ribs arranged in the :5 throat portion, so that the corrugations and ribs are disposed in vertical parallel courses and the sides inclined in straight parallel courses to each other, the degree of inclination of the corrugations and ribs lessening in extent to the back a, where they join each other, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 2 of the drawings.
I) is the fluted bot-tom rim of the coal-bod or similar article, as clearly illustrated in Figs. 1 and 2, and c is the bottom, provided with grooves or recesses arranged in radial courses and extending from the periphery to the center, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 5 of the drawings.
Having thus described the natu re of my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a coal-hod or similar article, substantially as herein described and illustrated.
