SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,343, dated March 13, 1900. Application filed February 12, 1900. Serial No. 5,022. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it; known that I, CHARLES P. KNAPP, a itizen of the United States, residing at Deosit, in the county of Delaware and State of Iew York, haveinvented and produced a. new T original Design for a, StretcherPlate for arpet-Tacking Devices, of which the follow- 1g is a. full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying rnwings, in which- Figure 1 is a plan view of a stretcherphite mbodying the features of my design. Fig. is a section thereof on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1. 'ig. 3 is an edge view, and Fig. 4 is an inerted plan.
The essential features of my design consist i the design made the subject of the accomanyingdrawings, in which the plate is shown 3 approximately triangular in shape, Within 16 three sides A, B, and C of which appears rectangular block D, from whose corners emanate arms E, extending to the sides A and B, and arms F, extending to the side 0, there by causing four openings A, B, C, and D to appear. The sides A and B are formed with prongs G and G, arranged in horizontally alined pairs, the prongs G being curved in one direction, while the prongs G'are straight, and prongs G2 appear on the side C, said latter prongs being curved in an opposite direction from the prongs G and terminating in a, higher plane than the said prongs G.
I claim- The design fora stretcher-plate for carpettacking devices, herein shown and described.
