DESIGN FOR A CORNER-PIECE FOR STAIRCASES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,298, dated October 2, 1900.
Application filed July 27, 1900. Serial No. 26.057. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, HIRAM O. BURK, residing at Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Corner-Piece for Slaircases,of which the followingisaspecification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a face view thereof, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a rear view. Fig. 3 is a side view. Fig. 4 is a transverse section on line X X, Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a truncated pyramid A, the base of which is intersected by a segment of a great circle B,
thus leaving the baselines of the pyramidarcs of great circles at (J. The corners of the base are rounded at D, and the apex is out 01f squarely at E.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a cornerpiece for staircases, substantially as shown and described.
