INVENTOR ATTORN S UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JACOB CAESAR, OF PERTH AMBOY, NEW' JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A SINK-LEG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 32,760, dated May 29, 1900.
Application filed May 5, 1900. Serial No. 15,649- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JACOB CAESAR, acitizen of the United States, residing at Perth Ainboy, in the county of Middlesex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Sink-Leg, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof.
Figure l is a front elevation of a sink-leg, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a side view thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the loading or material feature of my design consists of a series of three raised panels 4, 5, and G, de creasing in length from the bottom to the top of the leg, but increasing in width, so that panel 6 is shorter but wider than panel 4. Each of the panels is provided on the face thereof with scallops 7, as clearly shown. Between the panels 4 and 5 is a rosette 8, consisting of a plain center 9 and scallops 10, and between panels 5 and 6 I place a diamondshaped ornamentation 11, which is surrounded by a plurality of scallops 12. Above the panel 6 is a. rosette 13, differing from the rosette 8 in that the central part 14 is provided with an annular groove 15. All of the above configuration is raised above the plane of the leg, and the edges of the leg between the front and the sides are beveled from a point near the portion 11 to a point below the top of the panel 4, as shown at 16 and 17. The sides of the leg are provided with a serrated border 18 and 19, the serrations pointing toward the face of the leg, as clearly shown, and the said border extends across the face of the leg at the bottom, as shown at 20, but the borders terminate at the top on a line with the top of the panel (i, and from that point to the top a plane border 21 and 22 is provided, respectively, and the extreme top is made shield shaped, with beveled edges, as clearly shown.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a sink-leg, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
JACOB CAESAR.
