Be it known that I, GEORGE II. HOLDEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Burlington, in the county of Chittenden and State of Vermont, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ovens, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is aperspective view of an oven, showing my new design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the design forming the snhjectmatter of the accompanying illustration.
The general form of the oven is rectangular and slightly elongated vertically with the flat sidesA and front 13, the whole hei ng mounted on the corner-legs (J. The front 13 for about two-thirds its length from its top is formed with the transversely-elongated panels D, having the central handholds I), while forwardly-projecting plates D at the ends of said panels and close to the edges of the oven present a serrated appearance when viewed from the sides of the even, as shown in the figure of the drawing.
The lower third of the front of the oven is ornamented centrally by the rectangular plate or panel E, having the forwardly-projecting base-plate E and the upper and lower forwardly projecting and inclined portions E and E while the front is further ornamented on oppositesides of the panel E by the circles E".
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for an oven as herein shown and described.
