DESIGN FOR A HINGE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,948, dated January 22, 1901.

Application filed December 26, 1900. Serial No. 41,168. Term of patent '7 years,

To aZZ whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, HIRAM T. BUSH, acitizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Hinge, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 is a plan.

A and B are two similar flat and substantially rectangular plates having rounded edges and corners. These plates are arranged in different but parallel planes and in front elevation are disposed side by side in relation to their longer dimensions and in line with each other in relation to their shorter dimensions. Their adjacent edges are also spaced from each other.

C and D are intersecting spherical knobs arranged (in front elevation) between said plates and with their common axis parallel to the long edges thereof and in front of the planes of said plates. necks connecting said knobs respectively to the plates A and B and arranged at different angles to said plates.

Ths leading features of the design consist in the substantially rectangular plates arranged in different planes, the intersecting spherical knobs between the adjacent edges of said plates, and the necks connecting said knobs respectively to said plates and differently inclined in relation thereto.

What I claim as my invention is The design for a hinge, substantially as herein shown and described.
