Be it known that I, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Plates of a Stove, of which the following is a full and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, in which- Figure l represents the bottomiplate,
Figure 2 the top plate and'movable cover,
Figure 3 the door-frame and door, and
Figure 4 one of the legs of a stove having my said design. L
My new design for the bottom plate, A, consists essentially of the series of ornaments b and c, shaped and arranged along the border of that plate, as shown in fig. 1. The design for, the top plate D consists o? three series of' ornaments, ef g, shaped and arranged along the oval border of the plate, as shown in tig. 2 The design for the movable cover H consists 'of a series of border-ornaments, z', and internal radiationsj, and scroll-work ornamentation's k, all shaped and arranged as shown in fig. 2. The design for the door-frame L consists of the series of bracket-like ornaments m, and top and bottom scroll-work n and o, all shaped and arranged as shown in fig. 3. The design for the door P consists of the compound' centre ornament q, ornamental moulding r, and border-ornaments s, all shaped and arranged together as shown in Gg. 3. And the design for the leg T consists essentially of the upper central ornament u, and the ornamental sides v v, all shaped and arranged as shown in fig. 4.
What I claim as my invention or production, and desire to secure by Letters Paten t, is
The design for the plates or castings A, D, H, L, P, and T, of a stove, herein set forth and shown.
