DESIGN FOR A NECKTlE-TIP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,488, dated October 18, 1898.
Application filed September 16,1898. Serial No. 691,115. Term of patent 7 years.
' Tip Pieces; andI do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a side elevation of a necktie-tip piece embodying the design. Fig. 2 is a section on the line w 00 of Fig. 1.
This invention has relation to a certain new and original design for metallic tips or stiffeners for neckties.
The leading feature of the design consists in a tip or stiffener of narrow form, having its end portions at an obtuse angle to each other and formed with straight parallel lateral edges and of conveXo-concave form in cross-section, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings.
In the drawings the letter A designates the tip or stiffener, having the angle B and the parallel edges a]. It is also formed with rounded ends I) and with a perforation 0 near each end.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a necktie tip or stiffener, substantiallyas herein shown and described. In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
