UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
MILLER II. MCMANNON AND ALEXANDER II. POIVERS, OF IVATERLOO, ALABAMA.
DESIGN FOR A HAM'E-HOOK.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, MILLER II. MOMAN- NON and ALEXANDER 'l'I. POWERS, citizens of the United States, residing at Vaterloo, in the county of Lauderdale and State of Alabama, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Hame-Hooks; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
Our invention relates to a design for ahamehook, which is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of our design for a hame-repair hook. Fig. 2 is a transverse longitudinal section of the same. 4
The leading feature of our design consists of a hame-hook formed with two parallel arms 2 2 of equal length, having coincident passage-ways 3 4, and a bulged eye 1, formed midway between said parallel arms.
The design consists of a single piece of metal d onbled at the point a, so that the bulged eye 1 is centrally alined with the hook. Each parallel end 2 2 has a vertical passage-way 3 and a crescent-shaped passage-way 4: comm unicating therewith, the upper wall of each crescent-shaped passage-way being inclined downwardly and provided with an acute angular point c.
Having thus described our design, what we claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-
The design for a hanie-hook, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof we hereunto afIiX our signatures in presence of two witnesses.
MILLER II. MCMANNON. ALEXANDER H. POWERS.
