DESIGN FOR A HAME-TUG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,430, dated March 29, 1898.
Application led October 30, 1897. Serial No. 656,973- Termgof patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern,..-
Be it known that I, BALUs M. PIKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Gadsden,
in the county of Etowah and State of Alabama, have invented a new and original Design for a Haine-Tug, of which the following is a specication.
Thisinvention relates to a new and original design for a haine-tug; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in an elongated body having a flat base-plate provided with parallel side flanges projecting from one side thereof and having a series of segmental scallops and fiat cross-bars connecting said parallel flanges at the angular points between the scallops.
A minor feature of the design resides in the base-plate having rounded ends, rounded studs projected therefrom in planes between the cross bars, and an offstanding hookshaped figure at one end.
Inthe drawings, Figure l is a perspective view of a hame-tug embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a plan View thereof.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral l designates an elongated fiat base-plate provided with rounded ends 2 and parallel side flanges 3. The parallel side flanges 3 are projected from the same side of the plate l and are provided with a series of segmental scallops a, and the said side flanges 3 are connected at the angular portions between the scallops by a series of parallel fiat cross-bars 5. The flat base-plate lis further provided with rounded studs 6, projected from one side thereof in planes between the cross-bars 5, and with a hook-shaped figure 7, projected from one end thereof.
W'hat I claim is- The design for a hanne-tug herein shown and described.
