WILLIAM HENRY PLEASANTS, OF VICTOR, COLORADO, ASSIGNOR OF ONE- HALF TO PERRY J. WEIPPER, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A MINERS CANDLESTICK.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that LWILLIAM HENRY PLEAS- ANTS, of Victor, in the county of Teller and State of Colorado,'have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Miners Candlestick, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both views.
Figure 1 is a perspective View of a miners candlestick, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same on the line 2 2 in Fig. 1.
The design in its entirety consists of a fiat straight shank A, terminating at its outer end in a point B and at its inner end in a loop 0, continuing into a flat straight bar D, bent upon the side of the inner end of the shank A, to then continue into a loop E of greater width than that of the flat shank A and ex- Serial No. 717.219. Term of patent 14 years.
tending below the same to abut with the upper portion E of its end on the bar D and terminate in a reduced flat bar F, reaching transversely under the lower edge of the shank A, the end of said bar F being formed with a rounded-off shoulder F and with an upwardly-extending tapering fiat shank G, terminatin g in a hook G, extending transversely to the shank A.
The leading feature of the design consists of the flat shank A, the loop C, the barD, and the abutting fiat 100p E of greater Width than the shank A, and the transverse bar F, having the rising shank G and the transverse hook G.
I claim- The design for a miners candlestick here in shown and described.
