DESIGN FOR AN ICE-SHAVER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,947, dated December '7, 1897.
Application filed August 27, 1897. Serial No. 649.783- Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY M. NORTON, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Chester, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut,have invented a. new and origi- IO tains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a front view of my invention, and Fig. 2 is an edge View of the same.
This invention has relation to a certain new and original design for ice-shavers.
The leading features of the design consist in the shaver-blade, of broad flat form, having parallel faces, parallel lateral edges, and a double beveled cutting edge portion, a
shank portion having symmetrical incurred lateral edges, a tapered handle portion, and a ferrule portion having a convex or rounded end.
In the accompanying drawings the letters a a designate the parallel broad flat faces of the blade, 0 0 its parallel lateral edges, and 1) its double beveled cutting-edge portion. B designates the shank portion, having the in curved lateral edges h. C designates the tapered handle portion, and F is the ferrule portion.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new is- The design for an ice-shaver snbstantiall y as herein shown and described.
