DESlGN FOR A WATCHCASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,264, dated May 15, 1894.
Application filed April 19. 1 394. Serial No. 608,220- Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WALLAon DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark,in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Watcheases; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description ofthe invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference beiug had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a face View of the newly designed watch case, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same, these two views being deemed sufficient to illustrate the invention.
The leading feature of the design consists in the watch case which is round in plan, is convexly curved at its edges and, at its center, is approximately flat, the said fiat center being ornamented at the side with the figure of a rams head.
In said drawings, a, indicates the face of the watch case, which is convex at its edges, and round in plan, and, at its center, flattened, as indicated in Fig. 2. At said center, the case is ornamented by a figure b, like a rams head. Centrally above this ornament is an ornament, c, presenting a central stem and two oppositely and downwardly curved branches at the upper end.
That I claim as new is The design for a watch case, herein shown and described.
