DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,272, dated May 15, 1894.

Application filed April 19, 1894. Serial No. 508,228- Term of patent '7 years,

:To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WALLACE DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design forWatchcascs; and 1 do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it a ppertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the aceompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a face View of a watch case, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same, these two views being deemed snflicient to fully illustrate the design.

The leading feature of the design consists in the watch case which is round in plan, and approximately flat at the center of the side, said flat center being ornamented with a decorative figure of an archer with a bow and arrow.

In said drawings, (1, indicates the round face of the watch case which is convexly curved at the edges and at the center of the sides approximately flat, as indicated in Fig. 2. The flat center part of the side of the case is ornamented by a figure shaped like an archer on one knee, drawing a bow and arrow, the arrow being pointed at a figure resembling the zodiacal sign for Sagittarius.

What I claim as new is The design for a Watch case, herein shown and described.
