DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.

Be it known that I, WALLAcE DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New J ersey,haveinvented and produced a new and useful Design in Watchcases; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a face view of awatch case, and Fig. 2 is an edge View of the same, these two views being deemed sufiicient to fully illustrate the invention.

The leading feature of the design consists in the watch case, which is round in plan, and approximately flat at the center of the side, said flat center being ornamented with a scorpion-shaped decoration.

In said drawings, a, indicates the round face of the watch case, which is convexly curved at the edges and at the center of the sides approximately fiat as indicated in Fig. 2. The flat center part of the side of the case is ornamented by a figure shaped like a scorpion and, at the side of the same, the surface is decorated with a figure similarin shape to the zodiacal sign for the constellation Scorpio.

What I claim as new is- The design for a watch case, herein shown and described.
