WALLACE DURAND, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 23,266, dated May 15, 1894.
Application filed April 19, 1894- Serial No. 508,222. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WALLACE DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Watehcases; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention,such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a face view of a watch ease, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same, these two views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate the design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the watch case which is round in plan, convex at its edges and approximately flat at the center and at the said flat center ornamented gith a figure representing two naked chilren.
In said drawings, (1, indicates the round face of the watch case, which is convexly curved at the edges and at the center of the sides approximately flat as indicated in Fig.
2. The center part is ornamented by a figure representing two children or twins, the same being shown naked, one standing and the other seated on the ground. Above the group thus described, the case is ornamented by two parallel vertical lines or straight figures.
What I claim as new is- The design for a watch case herein shown and described.
