DESIGN FOR A FlNGER-RlNG.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,210, dated April 24, 1894.

Application filed March 8, 1894- Serial No. 502.912. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, WILLIAM O. ilU'rcIIINs, of Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island,have invented and 5 produced a new and Improved Design for Finger-Rings, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyiug drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure I is a side elevation of a finger ring 0 illustrating my design. Fig. 2 is a top View thereof to more clearly show the design.

The leading features of the design consist in the circular outline of the ring portion gradually spreading at the upper or setting 5 portion and extending in the straight prongs, forming the gallery, for securing the setting in place.

5 is the ring portion having acoinplete circular inner line 6, the outer line 7 extends :o practically parallel to the line 6 until it reaches the points 8-8 where it curves upward merging into the line of the prongs 9-9. As the ring portion curves upward it branches outward at the sides until approximately of the width of the gallery the short prongs 9-9 of which are separated by the spaces 10-10 equal in width to about twice the diameter of one prong, these prongs have straight sides and tops extending at right angles with their sides and outer edges thus presenting flattened surfaces when viewed from the top.
