DESIGN FOR A FINGER-RING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,738, dated May 19, 1891.
Application filed April 7, 1891- Scrial No.3B8,028i Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWARD 1. BEACH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark,in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Finger-Rings; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Referring to the drawings, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in each figure where they occur, Fign re 1. represents a plan, and Fig. 2 an elevation, of a finger-ring showing my design. Fig. 3 represents in plan a modification of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists more particularly in the peculiar configuration of the seal portion of the ring, which presents the appearance of two strands or wires bent and intertwined with one another in the form of a knot a, the body of the ring presenting the appearance of a series of strands b, lying laterally adjacent to one another and intersecting with said knot at each side, as clearly indicated in the drawings. In Fig. 3 the said strands cross each other at their intersection with said knot.
What I claim islhe design for a finger-ring herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand this 2d day of April, 1891.
IGIHVARD l. BEACH.
