Between these pedestals is an open central space. The cabinet-top is of more than the usual height, and contains three rows of pigeonholes, a series of shelves between them, a coupleof small drawers connected beneath the pigeon-holes,and an open space between them and the top of the table. The top is closable bya flexible curtaimin the usual manner. The edges of the sides of the top and of the table portion and the slides are molded, as shown. The corners of the pedestals are finished with flat molded pilasters with molded bases and capitals.
