Be it known that l, MARY TURNER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern of a Ladys Polonaise; and I do hereby declare that the engraved prints accompanying this specification convey to any one accustomed to using paper patterns a clear understanding of how a garment made up by the pattern will appear.

The design shows long close-fitting fronts that display a group of draping plaits in their back edges and a diagonal closing above the waist-line, below which they flare in V shape to reveal the skirt; underarm gores falling 'lorni of paten 3% years.
