Be it known that I, GEORGE S. The leading features of my design consist of the crossbar A, connecting the upper and lower arms of the bracket, as at a b. This cross-bar A is paneled and the groundwork roughened or lled with short transverse lines, as shown. The triangle incloscd by port-ions of the upper and Y`lower arms and the cross-bar A is tilled with incised lines, as at It, crossing each other4 at right angles, thus forming squares or sections thereof in relief, in the center of which are dots, as at t'. Springing from the cross-bar A, and dependent therefrom, are two branches or vines, B B, having the conventional ivyleaves, as at F, and the flower G. One of the branches B extends along in the direction of the upper arni of the bracket and partly fills the open rectangular panels inclosed by the bars j k Z. The other branch B extends downward in the direction ot' the lower arln of the bracket and partly lls the open rectangular panels inclosed by the connecting-barsj Z m n o p. The outward anglesforrned by these cony necti11g-bars are partly filled by the conventional ornament, as c, d, e, andf.
I clai n1m l. The design for a bracket herein shown and described, the saine consisting of the paneled cross-bar A, filled with transverse lines, and extending obliquely from the upper to the lower cross-arms, as at a and b, and the triangle thus formed havingagcneral plain surface filled with regularly-spaced lines crossing each other at right angles, and thc squares thus formed in relief having the central dots, c'.
