DESIGN FOR A CARPET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15,572, dated November 25, 1884.
Application filed September l2, 1884. Term of patent 85 years.
To 023 whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, NoRIc KOMORI, of New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced by my own industry, genius, efforts, and expense a new and original Design for a Carpet, of which the following is a correct description, reference being had to the annexed photograph, which represents a face view of my new carpet.
This invention relates to new ornamentation of a carpet, oil-cloth, or other similar fabric; and it consists of the novel grouping and outlines of figures hereinafter described.
In the accompanying photograph, the body of the carpet is shown to be divided into stripes A, B, O, and D. The stripe A consists of parallel bands, of which one bears small inner ornaments, as shown. The stripe B contains leaves a, b, (I, and 6 above the background, containing the circular figure f and the fanciful figure g. The upper part of the stripe B has the cloud-like figures h. The stripe 0 contains a series of geometrical figures, '5 and j. The stripe D contains triangular figures 1, 25 with curled ornaments m therein.
I claim- 1. The design for carpet or other fabric, the same consisting of the figures B, a, b, d, e, f, g, and h, substantially as shown.
2. The design for carpet or other fabric, the same consisting of the figures C, i, andj, substantially as shown.
3. The design for carpet or other fabric, the same consisting of the figures D, Z, and m, sub stantially as shown.
4. The design for carpet or other fabric, the same consisting of the figures B, G, a, b, d, e, f, g, h. 17, and j, as shown.
