SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,562, dated August 13, 1895.

Application filed June 26, 1895- Serial No. 554,149. Term of patent 3% years- "b all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, JOHN B. NEIL, residing at New York, county of New York, State of New York,haveinvented and produced a new 5 and original Design for a Pattern to be Vvrought into W'ilton and other Oarpetings in such coloring as may be designed; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification gives and conveys o to any one skilled in the art of carpet Weaving and manufacture a clear understanding of the same, and is sufiicient to enable such person to use my invention.

The design consists of the body A and the 5 border B. The body A is decorated with various irregular geometric figures thickly grouped. The border B has in the center a large fan shaped geometric figure, about which are grouped similar figures to those of the body. 20

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. In the design for a carpet, the body A, substantially as shown.

2. In the design for a carpet, the border 15, 25 substantially as shown.

3. The design for carpets, consisting of the body A, and the border B, substantially as shown.
