DESIGN FOR FRINGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,006, dated June 2'7, 1882.
Application filed May 5, 1882. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, BERNHARD DREYFUS, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Design for 5 Fringe, of which the following is a full, clear,
and exact description.
In the drawing my newly-designed fringe is shown by a front "iew.
My design relates to chenille fringes in which the cylindrical pendants a are suspended from a heading, I). The heading b is formed by cords 0 0, between which are tufts d, preferably of a different color from the pendants a. The top of the heading is made with a rounded bordering,f,of chenille. At the lower ends of the pendants a are tufts, g, which also may be of a different color from the pendants. The pendants are further ornamented by tufts, h, of different color, so placed that they form 20 diamond-shaped figures upon the fringe; but
this may be used or not, as desired.
Having thus deseribedmy invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent-- 1. The design for fringes herein shown and described, consisting of the cylindrical pendants a and the heading 1), formed by the cords 0, tufts d, and the rounded borderingf.
2. The design for fringe, hereinbeforc described, consisting of the cylindrical pendants a, formed at their lower ends with tufts g, and 0 the heading 1), formed with the rounded borderingf.
3. The design for fringe, herein shown and described, consisting of the diamondshaped ornamentation upon the pendants formed by 5 tufts h.
