Be it known that we,N1oHoLAs S. VED- DER and FRANCIS Rrromn, of the city ot' Troy, in the county of Renssellaer and State of New York, have invented a Design for Cook-Stoves, of which the following is a speciiication:
The nature oiour design is fully represent ed in the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is iliade.
The photographic illustration shows a side and front elevation of a cook-stove with our design cast upon the oven-door A, and forming a part of the same.
The rst part of our design consists in a compound ornament, a a, composed of scroll, bead, and line work, as seen in the accompanying illustration. The exact shape of this compound ornament and the details of its configuration cannot ne described, but are apparent upon an inspection of the abovementioned photograph.
The second part of our design consists in an ornamental border-molding, c c c c, which cannot be exactly described, but is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration. This border-molding is near to and parallel with the edge of the oven-door.
We do not limit the application of our compound ornament, or its combination with the ornamental border molding, to any particular kind of stove. nor to any particular part thereof. We propose to use the said compound ornament either with or Without the bordemnolding.
We claim- 1. The compound ornament, cast upon and forming part of any stove, substantially as herein shown and described.
2. The combination of the compound ornaments with the ornamental border-molding, arranged together and cast upon any stove, substantially as herein shown and described.
