DESIGN FOR BlLLlARD-TABLES.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,025, dated May 29, 1877; application filed April 11,1877. [Term of Patent 31} yea-ref] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES SoHULEN- BURG, of the city of Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have originated a new Design for Billiard -Tables, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying engraving, making part of this specification.
The nature ot'm y design is fully represented in the accompanying engraving, to which reference is made.
Thedesign consists, mainly, ot'an ornamented border, A, tastily worked and handsomely inlaid with woods of difi'erent colors. The sides and ends, beginning from a small round pillar,
' B, on each of the-corners, are widened or deepened toward their centers, respectively, and are broken with indented scrolls, at about one-third the distance from the corners, ex-
tending then lower down with ornamental scrolls for the centers. On the center of each side and end is inlaid a fancy scroll of light.- colored wood, and surrounded with a. stripe of gold, ending with flourishes, arrows, and dots. Thelegs, which in their general form are square or four-sided, are inlaid on their sides with different kinds of wood. corresponding with the main body of the billiard-table.
What Lelaim as my invention is- The design for a billiard-table, composed of the special configuration and ornamentation of the border, sides, ends, and legs, substantially asdescribed, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
