  • Mechanism for the production of looped fabrics comprising two sets of needles, a casing, the needles of one set being guided in displaceable fashion in said casing, a bar on which the other set of needles is mounted and constituting with its needles a rake, a control plate for engaging and pushing the needles of said first set temporarily between the needles of the other set so as to be able to pull an inserted thread into loops, said control plate having a variable guide edge for controlling the timed succession of the needle displacements between the needles of said rake, and means forming a receiving seat on the casing for insuring the position of said rake.
