Abstract
揭示一種組成物,其提供具有優異的離污性質的塗層膜。以該組成物的固體內容物計,該組成物含有;(A)20至80重量%的樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元、(B)0.1至5重量%的胺基矽烷、(C)0.5至5重量%的親水性添加劑、以及(D)0.1至5重量%的催化劑。由該組成物所形成的塗層具有兩親性表面,因此其適用於防止疏水性污垢及親水性污垢的塗層。
Description
本發明大致上涉及一種塗層組成物,其提供具有優異的離污性質的塗層。特別地,由塗層組成物形成的塗層具有兩親性表面,因此其適用於防止疏水性污垢及親水性污垢的塗層。
聚矽氧塗層係眾所周知作為金屬(諸如鋼或鋁)、玻璃、及木材之保護性及裝飾性塗層。然而,由於聚矽氧塗層具有優異的離型特性,因此有時難以將聚矽氧塗層接合至基材。為了增加聚矽氧塗層與基材表面之間的黏著性,揭示並使用環氧-聚矽氧塗層的例如,US5,904,959A、US5,691,019A、US20070092738A、US6,071,990A、US6,440,572B、US20080017070A、US4,537,800A、及EP1849831B。
抗污塗層是一種保護物品表面免於黏著污垢或污漬的塗層。在一些情況下,需要抗污塗層以防止許多種污垢。舉例而言,洗衣機的槽筒常接觸包含許多物質的水,上述物質來自髒衣服、自來水及清潔劑。此類物質包括:皮脂、油類、打翻的食物及飲料、界面活性劑、泥土、金屬、金屬離子、以及其不可溶的鹽。此類物質黏附槽筒的外壁,並造成細菌與真菌滋生。因此,極度需要可防止多種污垢的抗污塗層。
污垢通常可分類成疏水性污垢、親水性污垢及不可溶污垢。本發明的發明人發現一種塗層組成物,其提供具有兩親性表面的高黏附塗層,因
此其顯示出對於所有疏水性污垢、親水性污垢及不可溶污垢之優異的抗污性質。
因此,本發明的一態樣係關於一種組成物,以該組成物之固體內容物計,該組成物包含:(A)20至80重量%的樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元、(B)0.1至5重量%的胺基矽烷、(C)0.5至5重量%的親水性添加劑、以及(D)0.1至5重量%的催化劑。
在另一態樣中,本發明涉及一種由上述揭示的組成物所形成的膜。
在又另一態樣中,本發明涉及一種抗污塗層組成物,以該組成物的固體內容物計,該抗污塗層組成物包含:(A)20至80重量%的樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元、(B)0.1至5重量%的胺基矽烷、(C)0.5至5重量%的親水性添加劑、以及(D)0.1至5重量%的催化劑。
本發明之組成物包含至少四種組分:(A)樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元、(B)胺基矽烷、(C)親水性添加劑、以及(D)催化劑。
(A)樹脂,其結構中具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元
用於本發明的樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元及環氧樹脂單元。其稱作為「環氧-聚矽氧烷樹脂」或「環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂」。較佳地,聚二烷基矽氧烷單元係-(SiR1R2O)n-,其中R1及R2獨立地選自具有1至4個碳原子的烷基。更佳地,R1及R2兩者係甲基。較佳地n係10至100、更佳地n
係20至50。
環氧樹脂單元具有至少兩個環氧基。較佳地,環氧樹脂單元包含具有5至10個碳原子的脂族烴基。
聚二烷基矽氧烷單元與環氧樹脂單元的重量比較佳地係5:1至1:5、更佳地係2:1至1:2。
樹脂的黏度較佳地係2,000至5,000厘史、更佳地係2,500至4,500厘史。樹脂的分子量較佳地係1,000至10,000、更佳地係1,000至3,000。
以組成物之固體內容物的重量計,組成物中之樹脂的量係20至80重量%、較佳地係50至80重量%。
樹脂是市面上可購得的,諸如環氧-聚矽氧烷樹脂,或其可由環氧樹脂及聚矽氧烷樹脂合成而得。可在組成物的固化步驟期間進行樹脂的合成。
(B)胺基矽烷
用於本發明的胺基矽烷係具有至少一個胺基的矽烷,且由以下通式(1)表示:(R3)a(OR4)3-aSi(CH2)bNHR5 (1)
在式(1)中、R3及R4係具有1至8個碳原子的單價烴基。a係0至3,b係1至10。R5係選自由氫、具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基、-(CH2)cNHR6、及-(CH2)dSi(R7)e(OR8)3-e所組成之群組,其中R6係選自氫及具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基,R7及R8係具有1至8個碳原子之單價烴基。

基、辛基、乙烯基、烯丙基、異丙烯基、苯基、苄基、及1-苯基丙-2-乙烯基。
用於本發明之胺基矽烷的實例包括但不限於:(C2H5O)3Si(CH2)3NH2、(CH3O)3Si(CH2)3NH2、(C2H5O)2C6H5Si(CH2)3NH2、(C2H5O)2CH3Si(CH2)3NH2、(CH3O)3Si(CH2)3NH(CH2)2NH2、(C2H5O)3Si(CH2)3NH(CH2)2NH2、[(CH3O)3Si(CH2)3]2NH、(CH3O)2CH3Si(CH2)3NH(CH2)2NH2、(CH3O)2CH3Si(CH2)2C(CH3)2CH2NH2、以及(CH3O)2CH3SiCH2CH(CH3)CH2NH(CH2)。
胺基矽烷作為硬化劑,並與如組分(A)所揭示之環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂進行反應。胺基矽烷的胺基可與環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂的環氧基進行反應。胺基矽烷的矽烷氧基可與環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂的矽醇及矽烷氧基在潮濕條件下進行反應(藉由水解及縮合反應)。
以組成物之固體內容物的重量計,組成物中的胺基矽烷的量係10至30重量%、較佳地係15至20重量%。
(C)親水性添加劑
用於本發明之親水性添加劑係一種化合物,其為由上述組成物所形成的膜提供親水性。親水性添加劑的實例包括但不限於含有聚乙二醇(PEG)結構的聚矽氧聚醚流體(SPE)、經氟烷氧基取代之甲基矽酸鹽聚合物(其稱為矽酸鹽聚合物)、親水性二氧化矽溶膠、及鋁溶膠。親水性添加劑較佳係
經氟烷氧基取代之甲基矽酸鹽聚合物。
親水性添加劑應部分地位於塗層膜的表面,以在該表面上形成親水性部分。較佳地,在稍後所述的組成物之固化步驟期間,親水性添加劑遷移至膜表面。尤其,經氟烷氧基取代之甲基矽酸鹽聚合物係較佳作為親水性添加劑。由於經氟烷氧基取代的甲基矽酸鹽聚合物具有來自氟烷氧基的低表面能性質,因此認為經氟烷氧基取代的甲基矽酸鹽聚合物可遷移至組成物的表面,並且定位膜的表面。接著,氟烷氧基可在潮濕條件下水解並形成矽醇基。藉由水解反應產生的矽醇基可使得膜表面具有部分親水性。
以組成物之固體內容物的重量計,組成物中之親水性添加劑的量係1至10重量%、較佳係2至5重量%。
(D)催化劑
用於本發明之催化劑是用於樹脂(組分(A))與胺基矽烷(組分(B))之間的反應之催化劑。可使用任何已知的催化劑。催化劑的實例包括但不限於錫化合物(諸如二月桂酸二丁基錫)、鋯化合物(諸如辛酸鋯及乙酸鋯)、鈦化合物(諸如丁醇鈦(IV))、及鋅化合物(諸如辛酸鋅及乙酸鋅)。
在組成物中,催化劑的量應足以主要促進組分(A)與組分(B)之間的反應,但以塗層組成物之固體內容物的重量計,一般係500至4,000ppm、較佳地係1,000至3,000ppm的金屬。
其他成分
本發明之組成物可包括其他成分,例如溶劑、填料、分散劑、消泡劑、界面活性劑、聚矽氧流體、潤溼劑、及染料,此等成分是所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者已知的。當組成物包含溶劑時,可以使用任何溶劑,例如
醇類、酯類、醚類、酮類、醚-醇類、芳族烴類、脂族烴類、鹵化烴類、及揮發性聚矽氧類。以總組成物的重量計,組成物中溶劑的量係20至80重量%、較佳係30至50重量%。
物品及膜
將組成物施加在物品上,並藉由固化組成物,從而在物品的表面的至少一部分上形成膜。當將組成物施加在物品上時,可使用多種技術,諸如展開(splaying)、刷輥、浸塗、旋塗、線塗(wire coating)、及類似者。然後,一般而言將物品加熱以固化物品表面上的組成物。諸如溫度或加熱時間的條件是可變化的,並且是所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者已知的,但示例性地120至180度C達60至120分鐘。膜的厚度較佳地係5至20微米,更佳地係5至15微米。組成物的應用實例包括但不限於用於:作為洗滌機的槽筒的塗層、洗滌機內部表面(包括洗滌機三腳架(washing machine tripods))的塗層、廚房水槽的塗層、以及船體外壁的塗層。
由該組成物所形成的膜對於所有疏水性污垢、親水性污垢及不可溶污垢顯示出優異的抗污性質。再者,膜具有良好抗腐蝕性、對物品具有良好保護性、良好透明度、並對物品具有良好黏著性。而不受理論所限,環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂的環氧樹脂單元被認為是定位於膜的底部(靠近物品的表面),並提供物品表面與膜之間良好的黏著性、以及物品的良好抗腐蝕性。同時,環氧-聚矽氧烷混成樹脂的聚二烷基矽氧烷單元定位於膜的表面,且提供良好的離污性質,特別是對於頑固的污垢。此外,親水性添加劑部分地位於膜的表面上,且提供對油性污垢的良好的離污性質。
使用表1中揭示的原料來製備實施例中的樣本。
實施例
根據表4的具體配方稱取原料,藉由振盪30分鐘均勻混合。將0.6ml溶液以刮刀塗佈在鋁板上,在120℃下固化2小時。在完全固化之後偵測乾膜厚度並評估彼等的鉛筆硬度且列於表4中。在沸水測試之後的黏著性之結果及抗污性能分級結果也列於表4中。
<分析方法>
(1)塗層耐久性測試方法(耐沸水性測試)
將經塗佈之板放入裝有沸水的水槽中,8小時為1循環,在各循環之後取出板並在室溫下平放16小時且記錄塗層外觀,然後繼續另一個循環直至塗層失效或總共累積至500小時為止,停止測試。根據百格膠帶測試ASTM D3359-02,觀察塗層外觀及所測試之塗層的黏著性。
(2)耐鹽霧測試
根據ASTM D714-02進行耐鹽霧測試。將5% NaCl鹽水噴霧在測試樣本上。對結果(鏽蝕等級)進行分級,如表2所揭示。
(3)抗污性能測試
(3-1)污垢製備
根據中國標準GB/T13174稱為「衣料用洗滌劑去污力及循環洗滌性能(Determination of detergency and cycle of washing property for laundry detergents)」製備液體污垢。
藉由加熱及混合棕櫚酸30g、硬脂酸15g、椰子油45g、液體石蠟30g、橄欖油60g、膽固醇15g、及棉油酸45g製備油組分。藉由混合碳黑2.5g、Fe2O3 1g、黏土44.5g、阿拉伯膠3.8、醇10ml、及水115ml於研缽中,並研磨30分鐘製備無機組分。混合三乙醇胺4.8g、油酸2.4g、無機組分10.2g、油組分60ml、及水600ml。將混合物保持在60度C並在3000rpm下攪拌1h。從而製備污垢。
(3-2)汙水製備
將毛巾(3MTM微纖維清潔布)裁剪為3cm×10cm的碎片,並且將各碎片浸漬至(3-1)所製備的液體污垢中。然後將髒毛巾放置在80度C的烘箱中2小時。各碎片吸收3.0±0.1g的乾燥污垢。將3g的洗衣清潔劑(BluemoonTM)溶解於1L的水中,並在該清潔劑溶液中手洗3個碎片。將殘餘的汙水稀釋至濃度為30%。從而製備所欲的汙水。
(3-3)測試樣本製備
準備一片40cm×40cm的PTFE膠帶。裁剪出一個直徑為38cm的圓形,且保留其框架。將該膠帶框架貼附於樣本表面上。圓形的中心位於樣本底部的1/3位置。在圓形中滴入(3-2)所製備的汙水1.5ml。使水覆蓋圓形的全部範圍。將樣本放置在通風櫥12小時,以蒸發所有水分。從而製備測試樣本。
(3-4).洗滌測試
將1.5g的洗衣清潔劑(BluemoonTM)溶解於盛裝於5L桶內的3L水中。同時沿著桶壁懸掛5個樣本,並使汙垢區域保持浸沒於清潔劑溶液中。放置一攪拌器於桶中心。轉子應位於與汙垢相同的高度處。以250rpm開始攪拌。15分鐘後,停止攪拌,並計算汙垢之殘餘百分比(藉由目測)。紀錄被清潔區域的面積百分比。接著將樣本放回,並增加轉速至500rpm達15分鐘。重複上述操作。接著以750rpm及1,000rpm進行重複。1,000rpm下只進行5分鐘。拍攝各階段的照片。總洗滌時間為50分鐘。在完成洗滌後,將樣本放在一邊,並讓殘餘的水分蒸發。當沒有水分時,對樣本的去除能力進行排名。去除能力是4個階段中的去除百分比的總和,範圍係0至400。最終的抗污性能是4個階段中的去除百分比的總和。
實施例及結果
如表4所示,所有塗層對金屬基材可具有良好黏著性,並皆具有良好的抗腐蝕性能。所有塗層外觀及塗層顏色是透明的。這得益甲基聚矽氧烷樹脂的獨特結構,其在高溫下非常穩定。由於表面能驅動力,在混成樹脂中的
聚矽氧流體組分傾向於遷移至表面,從而將可能與親水性添加劑形成兩親性表面,以提供抗污性能,而環氧樹脂將提供對基材或主要塗層的良好黏著性。親水性添加劑的加載亦影響抗污性能(發明實施例1至8)。聚矽氧烷塗層或環氧樹脂塗層個別不具有良好的抗污性能。(比較例2及3)。

- 一種組成物,以該組成物的固體內容物計,該組成物包含:(A)20至80重量%的環氧-聚矽氧烷樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元與環氧樹脂單元,其中該環氧樹脂單元具有至少兩個包含5至10個碳原子的脂族烴基的環氧基,且該聚二烷基矽氧烷單元具有以下通式:-(SiR1R2O)n-,其中R1及R2獨立地選自具有1至4個碳原子的烷基,且n為10至100;(B)0.1至5重量%的胺基矽烷,其由以下通式(1)表示(R3)a(OR4)3-aSi(CH2)bNHR5 (1),其中R3及R4為具有1至8個碳原子的單價烴基,a為0至3且b為1至10,R5選自由氫、具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基、-(CH2)cNHR6、及-(CH2)dSi(R7)e(OR8)3-e所組成之群組,其中R6選自氫及具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基,R7及R8為具有1至8個碳原子之單價烴基,c及d為1至10,且e為0至3;(C)0.5至5重量%的添加劑,其選自由聚矽氧聚醚流體、經氟烷氧基取代之甲基矽酸鹽聚合物、親水性二氧化矽溶膠、親水性鋁溶膠、及其組合所組成之群組;以及(D)0.1至5重量%的催化劑。

- 一種抗污塗層組成物,以該組成物的固體內容物計,該抗污塗層組成物包含:(A)20至80重量%的環氧-聚矽氧烷樹脂,其結構內具有聚二烷基矽氧烷單元與環氧樹脂單元,其中該環氧樹脂單元具有至少兩個包含5至10個碳原子的脂族烴基的環氧基,且該聚二烷基矽氧烷單元具有以下通式:-(SiR1R2O)n-,其中R1及R2獨立地選自具有1至4個碳原子的烷基,且n為10至100;(B)0.1至5重量%的胺基矽烷,其由以下通式(1)表示(R3)a(OR4)3-aSi(CH2)bNHR5 (1),其中R3及R4為具有1至8個碳原子的單價烴基,a為0至3且b為1至10,R5選自由氫、具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基、-(CH2)cNHR6、及-(CH2)dSi(R7)e(OR8)3-e所組成之群組,其中R6選自氫及具有1至4個碳原子之單價烴基,R7及R8為具有1至8個碳原子之單價烴基,c及d為1至10,且e為0至3;(C)0.5至5重量%的添加劑,其選自由聚矽氧聚醚流體、經氟烷氧基取代之甲基矽酸鹽聚合物、親水性二氧化矽溶膠、親水性鋁溶膠、及其組合所組成之群組;以及(D)0.1至5重量%的催化劑。
