相關申請案之交叉參考 此申請案係基於2015年11月23日申請且以引用的方式併入本文中之美國臨時申請案第62/258,797號並主張該案之優先權。 圖1展示一組合閥及機械連結器10 (在下文中稱為一閥連結器)之一例示性實施例。閥連結器10包括複數個區段(在此實例中,兩個區段12及14),其等端部對端部附接至彼此以環繞及界定一中心空間16。藉由定位於各區段之各端部處之可調整附接部件18實現區段12及14之附接。在此實例中,附接部件包括附接突耳20,其等自區段12及14向外延伸,該等突耳具有接納可調整緊固件(諸如螺栓24及螺帽26)之孔22。螺帽26之擰緊使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引,如在下文描述。 區段12及14各具有定位於區段12及14之相對側30及32上之弧面28。弧面28面向通過中心空間16之一縱向軸線34且可在管元件經插入區段12與14之間且至中心空間16中時與管元件接合,如下文描述。弧面28可朝向軸線34凸出以藉此在擰緊附接部件18之後接合管元件中之圓周溝槽且提供機械接合以按端部對端部之關係固定管元件以形成一接頭。弧面28亦可接合具有平端部或如此項技術中已知的具有凸肩及/或卷邊之端部之管元件。 圖1、圖2及圖2A展示一閥外殼36,其定位於中心空間16內且夾在區段12與14之間。閥外殼36環繞及界定一鏜孔38,其中安裝一閥閉合部件40 (在此實例中,一圓盤)。可與本發明一起使用之其他例示性閥閉合部件包含球閉合部件及插塞閉合部件。閥閉合部件40可圍繞一旋轉軸線42在允許流通過鏜孔38之一敞開位置與防止流通過鏜孔38之一閉合位置(展示)之間旋轉。閥閉合部件40經安裝於第一軸44及第二軸46上,第一軸44及第二軸46沿著軸線42在彼此相反之方向上延伸。藉由以彼此間隔之關係安裝於閥閉合部件40上之第一突耳48及第二突耳50實現將閥閉合部件40安裝於軸44及46上。突耳48及50界定各自孔隙48a及50a,其等與軸線42對準且分別接納軸44及46。使用公栓槽及母栓槽有利地增強軸44及46與其等各自突耳48及50之間的機械接合。如在圖2、圖8及圖9中展示,軸44之一第一端部44a包括一公栓槽52,其接合藉由突耳48界定之一母栓槽54。類似地,軸46之一第一端部46a界定一公栓槽56,其接合藉由突耳50界定之一母栓槽58。亦可藉由其他方法(諸如突耳與軸之間的一干涉配合以及鍵)實現軸44及46與其等各自突耳48及50之間的接合。 如在圖8及圖9中進一步展示,各軸44及46之第一端部44a及46a具有各自直徑60及62,其等大於軸之第二相對端部44b、46b處之各自軸直徑64、66。為實現此幾何構形,軸44及46可自第一端部至第二端部持續漸縮或逐步漸縮。漸縮軸幾何形狀允許如下文描述般組裝閥連結器10之閥組件,其中軸44及46之第一端部44a、46a分別接合閥閉合部件40之第一突耳48及第二突耳50。 如在圖2中展示,閥外殼36包括第一軸承68及第二軸承70。軸承68及70彼此徑向對置地定位,與軸線42對準,且界定通過外殼36之第一通路68a及第二通路70a。第一軸44及第二軸46經接納於各自第一軸承68及第二軸承70內且藉由其等支撐。在此例示性實施例中,軸承68及70包括自外殼36延伸之第一閥帽72及第二閥帽74 (見圖2A)。閥帽72及74繼而延伸通過區段12及14中之各自開口76及78。閥帽72及74與區段12及14之間的接合有助於將閥外殼36穩定於中心空間16內。 如在圖3中展示,鏜孔38進一步容置一密封件80。密封件80包括一環,其環繞中心空間16且在閥閉合部件40處於閉合位置中時密封地接合閥閉合部件40。額外密封件82經定位於區段12及14與閥外殼36之間。當藉由擰緊附接部件18以使區段朝向彼此牽引且接合管元件而產生一接頭時,密封件82建立區段12及14、閥外殼36及管元件之間的密封。 有利的是按足以允許管元件插入至中心空間16中而無需首先拆卸閥連結器10之隔開關係(如在圖1中展示)支撐區段12及14。圖1展示在所謂的「預組裝狀態」中之閥連結器10 (如將供應至終端使用者),其中已按間隔關係支撐藉由附接部件18 (突耳20、螺栓24及螺帽26)按端部對端部之關係連接之區段12及14以允許管元件插入。此構形允許接頭之高效形成,此乃因僅需將管元件插入至中心空間16中(與密封件82接合)且擰緊螺帽26以使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引且與管元件接合。 可藉由密封件82以隔開關係支撐區段12及14,或如在圖2及圖4中展示,區段可具有接合閥外殼36之各自凸起84及86。凸起84、86經設計以在藉由擰緊連接部件18來施加力時變形以允許區段在如圖4中展示之安裝期間朝向彼此牽引且與管元件接合。 在使用中時,如在圖5中展示,提供預組裝狀態中之一閥連結器10 (亦見圖1),其中區段12及14以隔開關係定位。管元件88及90經插入至區段12與14之間的中心空間16中且與密封件82接合。在此實例中,管元件具有圓周溝槽92,其等接納區段之相對側30及32上之凸出弧面28。如在圖4及圖6中展示,擰緊附接部件(在接合突耳20之螺栓24上擰緊螺帽26)以使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引且與管元件88及90接合,弧面28接合管元件中之圓周溝槽92。在區段12及14經牽引朝向彼此時,密封件82被壓縮在區段、閥外殼36及管元件88及90之間以形成一液密接頭。圖4、圖6及圖7展示接頭安裝之後的閥連結器10之最終構形,為簡明起見在圖7中未展示管元件。應注意,在此例示性實施例中,當閥連結器10經適當安裝時,連接部件18 (在此實例中,突耳20)滿足所謂的「襯墊對襯墊」接合。此設計係有利的,因為其允許確認適當安裝之就緒目視檢測,且無需將螺栓24擰緊至一特定扭矩值。 根據先前技術,具有一閥閉合部件之一閥之組裝實質上自閥外殼之外部開始。閥閉合部件經定位於閥外殼內且其突耳與閥外殼中之開口對準。接著自閥外殼之外部插入桿(閥閉合部件繞其旋轉)以支撐閥閉合部件以進行旋轉運動。閥閉合部件及桿之此構形需要複雜密封配置及穩健保持方法以抵抗閥內之內壓而將閥桿固持於閥中。根據本發明之閥連結器10實質上消除此等設計挑戰以提供如下文描述之一改良閥連結器。 改良設計開始於軸44及46,此在圖8及圖9中詳細展示。在此實例中,軸44及46以一逐步方式漸縮,其中區段94、96及98構成軸44且區段100、102及104構成軸46。軸44及46以一逆向方式自先前技術桿漸縮,其中自閥外殼36向外延伸之軸44、46之端部44b、46b具有小於分別接合閥閉合部件40之突耳48及50之端部44a、46a之直徑。另外,亦可藉由使軸44之至少一部分漸縮來確保優勢。在圖8A中展示此實施例之一實例,其中區段94 (其可具有公栓槽52)漸縮。漸縮區段94接合突耳48中之一漸縮孔隙48a且因此不需要額外特徵來將軸44保持至閥閉合部件40。此軸構形亦減小旋轉摩擦且自補償磨損。 使軸44及46之漸縮反轉提供數個優勢。舉例而言,簡化閥之組裝。如在圖10中展示,軸44經定位於閥閉合部件40之突耳48與50之間。閥閉合部件接著經定位於閥外殼36內且突耳48及50以及軸44與閥外殼36中之軸承68及70 (在此實例中,閥帽72及74)對準。如在圖11中展示,軸44接著經插入通過突耳48且自閥外殼36至閥帽72中。圖11A詳細展示簡化軸承及密封件配置,其中軸承元件106及O形環類型密封件108接合軸44以實現軸44與閥帽72之間的一密封。與軸44中之一圓周溝槽112協作使用一保持器環110以將軸保持於閥帽內。如在圖11中展示,下一組裝步驟係將軸46定位於閥外殼36內且與閥閉合部件40之突耳50對準。如在圖12中展示,軸46經插入通過閥閉合部件40之突耳50且至閥帽74中。軸46可具有類似於圖11A中展示之軸44之一密封件及軸承配置。一旦將閥閉合部件40以及軸44及46組裝至閥外殼36中,便將閥外殼組裝於連結器區段12及14內。此可藉由以下者而實現:首先將閥外殼36定位於區段14內,使得閥外殼36支撐於凸起86上,其中閥帽74延伸通過區段14中之開口78 (見圖2)。接著,區段12經定位使得凸起84接合閥外殼36,軸44及閥帽72通過區段12中之開口76。在此構形中,將對準附接部件18之附接突耳20中之孔22,且將螺栓24插入通過該等孔。將螺帽26螺合且擰緊至螺栓24上以將閥連結器置於圖1及圖2中展示之預組裝狀態中。 期望根據本發明之閥及閥連結器將提供優於先前技術之改良製造性及改良效能兩者。

Claims (31)

  1. 一種用於控制通過管元件之流之閥,該閥包括:一閥外殼,其環繞及界定一鏜孔;一閥閉合部件,其安裝於該鏜孔內,該閥閉合部件可圍繞一旋轉軸線在允許流通過該鏜孔之一敞開位置與防止流通過該鏜孔之一閉合位置之間旋轉;第一突耳及第二突耳,其等以彼此間隔之關係安裝於該閥閉合部件上,該等突耳界定與該旋轉軸線對準之各自孔隙;第一軸及第二軸,其等沿著該旋轉軸線在相反方向上延伸,該第一軸經接納於該第一突耳之該孔隙內,該第二軸經接納於該第二突耳之該孔隙內;第一軸承及第二軸承,其等彼此徑向對置地安裝於該閥外殼上,該第一軸承及該第二軸承分別界定通過該閥外殼之第一通路及第二通路,該第一通路及該第二通路與該旋轉軸線對準,該第一軸承接納該第一軸,該第二軸承接納該第二軸;其中各該軸在一第一端部處具有大於在一第二端部處之一直徑之一直徑,該第一軸之該第一端部接合該第一突耳,該第二軸之該第一端部接合該第二突耳,且該等軸之一者之至少一部分漸縮。

  15. 一種用於結合管元件且控制通過其之流之閥連結器,該閥連結器包括:複數個區段,其等端部對端部附接至彼此而環繞一中心空間;一閥外殼,其夾在該等區段之間且環繞及界定一鏜孔;一閥閉合部件,其安裝於該鏜孔內,該閥閉合部件可圍繞一旋轉軸線在允許流通過該鏜孔之一敞開位置與防止流通過該鏜孔之一閉合位置之間旋轉;第一突耳及第二突耳,其等以彼此間隔之關係安裝於該閥閉合部件上,該等突耳界定與該旋轉軸線對準之孔隙; 第一軸及第二軸,其等沿著該旋轉軸線在相反方向上延伸,該第一軸經接納於該第一突耳之該孔隙內,該第二軸經接納於該第二突耳之該孔隙內;第一軸承及第二軸承,其等彼此徑向對置地安裝於該閥外殼上,該第一軸承及該第二軸承分別界定通過該閥外殼之第一通路及第二通路,該第一通路及該第二通路與該旋轉軸線對準,該第一軸承接納該第一軸,該第二軸承接納該第二軸;其中各該軸在一第一端部處具有大於在一第二端部處之一直徑之一直徑,該第一軸之該第一端部接合該第一突耳,該第二軸之該第一端部接合該第二突耳。
