相關申請案之交叉參考 此申請案係基於2015年11月23日申請且以引用的方式併入本文中之美國臨時申請案第62/258,797號並主張其優先權。 圖1展示一組合閥及機械連結器10 (在下文中稱為一閥連結器)之一例示性實施例。閥連結器10包括複數個區段(在此實例中,兩個區段12及14),其等端部對端部附接至彼此以環繞及界定一中心空間16。藉由定位於各區段之各端部處之可調整附接部件18實現區段12及14之附接。在此實例中,附接部件包括突耳20,其等自區段12及14向外延伸,該等突耳具有接納可調整緊固件(諸如螺栓24及螺帽26)之孔22。螺帽26之擰緊使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引,如在下文描述。 區段12及14各具有定位於區段12及14之相對側30及32上之弧面28。弧面28面向穿過中心空間16之一縱向軸線34且可在管元件經插入區段12與14之間且至中心空間16中時與管元件接合,如下文描述。弧面28可包括凸起(稱為「鍵」),其等在附接部件18之擰緊之後接合管元件中之圓周溝槽且提供機械接合以按端部對端部之關係固定管元件以形成一接頭。鍵亦可接合具有平端部或如此項技術中已知的具有凸肩及/或卷邊之端部之管元件。 圖1及圖2展示一閥外殼36,其定位於中心空間16內且夾在區段12與14之間。在此例示性實施例中,閥外殼36包括一環38,其中可移動地安裝一閥閉合部件40 (在此實例中,一圓盤)。可與本發明一起使用之其他例示性閥閉合部件包含球閉合部件及插塞閉合部件。如在圖3中展示,閥閉合部件40經可旋轉地安裝於環38內之閥桿42及44上且可圍繞一軸線45在一敞開位置與一閉合位置(展示)之間旋轉。界定軸線45之桿42及44經接納於自環38延伸且包括用於閥桿之軸承之各自閥帽46及48內。閥帽46及48繼而延伸穿過區段12及14中之各自開口50及52 (亦見圖3)。區段12及14與閥帽46及48之接合(其中閥帽突出穿過區段)有助於將閥外殼36穩定於中心空間16內。如在圖3中展示,環38進一步容置一密封件54。密封件54環繞中心空間16且在閥閉合部件40處於閉合位置中時密封地接合閥閉合部件40。在圖1及圖3中展示之其他密封件56定位於區段12及14與閥外殼36之間。當藉由擰緊附接部件18以使區段朝向彼此牽引且接合管元件而產生一接頭時,密封件56建立區段12及14、閥外殼36及管元件之間的一密封。 有利的是按足以允許管元件插入至中心空間16中而無需首先拆卸閥連結器10之隔開關係(如在圖1中展示)支撐區段12及14。圖1展示在所謂的「預組裝狀態」中之閥連結器10 (如將供應至終端使用者),其中已按間隔關係支撐藉由附接部件18 (突耳20、螺栓24及螺帽26)按端部對端部之關係連接之區段12及14以允許管元件插入。此構形允許一接頭之高效形成,此仍因僅需將管元件插入至中心空間16中(與密封件56接合)且擰緊螺帽26以使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引且與管元件接合。 為以隔開關係固持區段12及14,該等區段具有各自凸起58及60 (見圖4及圖5),其等延伸至中心空間16中且與環38之外面66中之各自通道62及64協作(見圖2及圖6)。所圖解說明之例示性實施例具有四個凸起(每區段兩個)及四個通道。如在圖5中展示,區段12及14 (展示12)具有一後壁68,凸起58及60自後壁68延伸。在此例示性實施例中,凸起58及60漸縮且具有一「U」狀橫截面(其他形狀當然係可行的)。各凸起58及60之「U」之凸形面70面向環38之面66且當環38夾在區段12與14之間時在各自通道62及64內接觸面66。凸起58及60之勁度經設計以在歸因於區段之重量而經歷之力及歸因於搬運及安裝之慣性負載下按間隔關係將區段12及14支撐在環38上 (見圖1)。然而,凸起經設計以在如圖9中展示之安裝期間藉由擰緊連接部件18來施加力時變形以允許區段朝向彼此牽引且與管元件接合。 在圖2中詳細展示之通道62及64可藉由導壁72來界定或具有導壁72,導壁72以間隔關係定位於環38上且經間隔以在閥連結器10處於其預組裝狀態中時接納凸起58及60。各通道62及64之底面74 (其包括導壁72之間的環38之外面66之一部分)經分為兩個凹形區域76及78。如在圖2A中展示,各凹形區域76及78形成一圓錐面80及82之一部分。在此例示性實施例中,圓錐面彼此鄰接。圓錐面80具有一頂點84、一圓錐角86及一圓錐軸線88。圓錐面82具有一頂點90、一圓錐角92及一圓錐軸線94。頂點84不同於頂點90;圓錐角86不同於圓錐角92;且圓錐軸線88相對於圓錐軸線94成角度定向。 圓錐面80提供空隙以在區段12及14經定位環繞環38時允許凸起58及60接合圓錐面82。如在圖2B中展示,圓錐面82之參數(頂點90、圓錐角92及圓錐軸線94)經設計以接納一凸起(58或60)且與該凸起協作以按間隔關係維持區段12及14,如在圖1中展示。在缺乏凸起58及60之變形之情況下,區段12及14經維持成隔開關係且提供足夠空隙以允許管元件插入。另外,凸起58及60與圓錐面82之間的相互作用使環38對準中心於兩個區段12與14之間。環38之對準中心亦確保密封件56對準中心於區段之間,使得其在管元件插入期間未引起干擾。 圓錐面82之參數(頂點90、圓錐角92及圓錐軸線94)經設計以在附接部件18經擰緊且區段朝向彼此牽引以形成接頭時提供凸起58及60與環38之間的一鎖定動作,如在圖9中展示。為此,如在圖2C中展示,凸起58及60相對於圓錐面82成角度定向。在一實踐實例中,凸起58及60之圓錐面82與凸形面70之間的定向角57為約3度。此相對成角度定向導致一凸輪效應(見圖2D、圖2E),其中圓錐面82與凸起58及60之間的夾持力遠大於將區段12及14牽引在一起之螺栓負載。該較大夾持力使凸起58及60在其等與圓錐面82相互作用時變形以將環38定位及鎖定於軸向方向上。可藉由將一或多個齒51定位於通道62及64內而增大凸起58、60與環38之間的機械接合,如在圖2F及圖2G中展示。齒51咬合至凸起58及60之凸形面70中以將區段12及14鎖定至環38。齒51亦補償歸因於鑄造及加工公差之各種零件之尺寸變動且確保區段與環之間的一牢固配合。 在使用中時,如在圖7中展示,提供在預組裝狀態中之一閥連結器10 (亦見圖1),其中區段12及14以隔開關係定位,凸起58及60經接納於環38之通道62及64內,凸起接合圓錐面80 (見圖2及圖5)且將區段支撐在環38上。管元件96及98經插入至區段12與14之間的中心空間16中且與密封件56接合。在此實例中,管元件具有圓周溝槽100,其等接納排列於區段之相對側30及32上之凸出鍵102上之弧面28。如在圖8中展示,擰緊附接部件(見圖1,在接合突耳20之螺栓24上擰緊螺帽26)以使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引且與管元件96及98接合,鍵102接合管元件中之圓周溝槽100。在區段12及14經牽引朝向彼此時,密封件56被壓縮在區段12及14、閥外殼36及管元件96及98之間以形成一液密接頭。此外,如在圖2D中展示,在區段經牽引在一起時,凸起58及60變形且在環38之外面66上接合圓錐面82。凸起58及60與圓錐面82之間的相互作用將區段12及14鎖定至閥外殼36。若存在齒51,則進一步增強機械接合(見圖2G)。圖9展示接頭安裝之後的閥連結器10之最終構形,為簡明起見未展示管元件。應注意,在此例示性實施例中,當閥連結器10經適當安裝時,連接部件18滿足所謂的「襯墊對襯墊」接合。此設計係有利的,因為其允許確認適當安裝之就緒目視檢測,且無需將螺栓24擰緊至一特定扭矩值。

Claims (45)

  1. 一種用於結合管元件且控制通過其之流之閥連結器,該閥連結器包括: 複數個區段,其等端部對端部附接至彼此而環繞一中心空間; 一閥外殼,其夾在該等區段之間; 一閥閉合部件,其可移動地安裝於該閥外殼內,該閥閉合部件可在允許流通過該閥外殼之一敞開位置與防止流通過該閥外殼之一閉合位置之間移動; 至少一個凸起,其自該等區段之一者延伸至該中心空間中,該至少一個凸起接合該閥外殼且以間隔關係支撐該等區段之至少兩者。
  2. 如請求項1之閥連結器,其中該等區段之各者包括在其等之該等端部之間延伸之一後壁,該至少一個凸起自該一個區段之該後壁延伸。
  3. 如請求項1之閥連結器,其中該至少一個凸起漸縮。
