Description

相關申請案之交叉參考 此申請案係基於2015年11月23日申請且以引用的方式併入本文中之美國臨時申請案第62/258,797號並主張其優先權。 圖1展示一組合閥及機械連結器10 (在下文中稱為一閥連結器)之一例示性實施例。閥連結器10包括複數個區段(在此實例中,兩個區段12及14),其等端部對端部附接至彼此以環繞及界定一中心空間16。藉由定位於各區段之各端部處之可調整附接部件18實現區段12及14之附接。在此實例中,附接部件包括突耳20,其等自區段12及14之相對端部向外延伸,該等突耳界定接納可調整緊固件(諸如螺栓24及螺帽26)之孔22。螺帽26之擰緊使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引,如在下文描述。 區段12及14各具有定位於閥連結器10之相對側30及32上之弧面28。弧面28面向穿過中心空間16之一縱向軸線34。當管元件經插入區段12與14之間且至中心空間16中時,弧面28可與管元件接合,如下文描述。弧面28可自區段12及14朝向軸線34徑向凸出以在擰緊附接部件18之後接合管元件中之圓周溝槽且提供機械接合以按端部對端部之關係固定管元件以形成一接頭。弧面28亦可接合具有平端部或如此項技術中已知的具有凸肩及/或卷邊之端部之管元件。 圖1及圖2展示一閥外殼36,其定位於中心空間16內且夾在區段12與14之間。閥外殼36具有環繞中心空間16之一內面38。如在圖4中展示,一凸肩40圍繞內面38延伸且朝向中心空間16凸出,藉此界定一凹口42。一閥閉合部件(在此實例中,一圓盤44)經安裝於中心空間16內(亦見圖1)。如在圖3中展示,圓盤44經可旋轉地安裝於閥桿46及48上且可在外殼36內在一敞開位置與一閉合位置(展示)之間移動。桿46及48經接納於自外殼36延伸且充當用於閥桿之軸承之各自閥帽50及52內。閥帽50及52繼而延伸穿過區段12及14中之各自開口54及56。閥帽50及52與外殼36之間的接合有助於將外殼穩定於中心空間16內。 如在圖3中展示,一密封件58經定位於該凹口42內。密封件58包括一環,其環繞中心空間16且在圓盤44處於閉合位置中時密封地接合圓盤。在圖3中展示之額外密封件60經定位於區段12及14與閥外殼36之間。當藉由擰緊附接部件18以使區段朝向彼此牽引且接合管元件而產生一接頭時,密封件60建立區段12及14、閥外殼36及管元件之間的密封。 圖3及圖4展示閥連結器10,其中圓盤44處在閉合位置中而密封地接合密封件58。當圓盤44在敞開位置與閉合位置之間旋轉時,密封件58經受藉由圓盤44施加之顯著力。源自圓盤44之周邊與密封件58之面之間的相對大預負載之力需確保一液密密封。此外,密封件58在圓盤44之敞開及閉合期間未經歷非均勻力。歸因於敞開及閉合之密封件58上之力具有若干有害效應:其等使密封件經受重複高應力,導致磨損且傾向於將密封件拉出閥外殼中之其凹口。 期望可藉由提供一可撓性保持器62 (在圖3至圖5中展示)以進一步界定含有密封件58之凹口42來緩解此等有害效應。如在圖5中展示,例示性保持器實施例62具有一環64之形式。環64具有包括複數個向外凸出之突片68之一外周邊66,突片68以彼此間隔之關係圓周地圍繞外周邊。突片68用於依據圓盤44閉合(見圖3)且閥連結器10經受內壓時引起之軸向負載而判定環64之軸向剛性及因此其之偏轉。可藉由調整突片68之厚度來完成突片68之剛性調諧,藉此控制各突片之面積慣性矩。 如在圖5中進一步展示,環64可具有其外周邊66上之一平坦區域70及圍繞其內周邊74延伸之一唇緣72。如在圖4中展示,唇緣72自環64之平面76凸出且經定位於中心空間16內而相鄰於凹口42以用於保持密封件58。環64藉由複數個鉤釘78保持於閥外殼36內(亦見圖2)。鉤釘78以彼此隔開之關係圍繞一凸緣80定位。凸緣80經定位相鄰於凹口42且圍繞外殼36延伸。鉤釘78朝向中心空間16凸出且經隔開以提供複數個間隙82(其等在如下文描述般安裝密封件58時接納環64之突片68)。 藉由首先將密封件58定位於凹口42內而組裝圓盤密封件。此可藉由使密封件58變形以使其通過鉤釘78而容易地完成,此係因為密封件由一彈性可撓性材料形成。一旦密封件58處於適當位置,環64經定位(如在圖2A中展示),使得其之突片68與間隙82對準且平坦區域70與凸緣80上之一類似平坦特徵84對準。環64亦經配置,使得其之唇緣72面向密封件58。接著將環64壓抵於密封件58,密封件壓縮於環與界定凹口42之凸肩40之間。迫使環64抵靠密封件58直至背向唇緣72之突片68之面86在鉤釘78之內面88後方(亦見圖2及圖4)。接著使環64圍繞軸線34旋轉以使突片68與鉤釘78對準,使得突片至少部分上覆於鉤釘。接著釋放環上之壓力。如在圖4中展示,因此產生之凸肩40與環64之間的空間90小於密封件58之寬度,且密封件使環64抵靠鉤釘78偏置以將其固定至適當位置。空間90之大小可經調整(即,製成更小或更大),藉此亦調整環64抵靠密封件58之軸向預負載。如在圖5中展示,藉由突片68之面86提供預負載之調整,如在圖5A中展示,面86相對於環64之平面76成角度定向。當環相對於閥外殼36旋轉時,此成角度定向導致環64相對於該外殼(且因此相對於密封件58)軸向運動。成角度面86在環64之旋轉之後抵靠鉤釘78騎行(見圖2A)且在旋轉沿順時針方向時(如在圖2A中觀察)被迫朝向密封件58 (藉此增大預負載)。逆時針旋轉減小預負載。 如在圖4中展示,環64之突片68夾在鉤釘78與閥外殼36之間。因此使環64圍繞其外周邊66呈懸臂式且藉由突片68之剛性較大程度上判定環64之軸向剛性,因為其等經設計為外殼36及鉤釘78中最小剛性之組件。突片68之剛性經調諧,使得環64抵靠密封件58提供足夠軸向力,使得其在圓盤44閉合且經受液壓時維持自身與圓盤之間的一液密密封。然而,突片68亦為足夠可撓性以允許空間90在密封件在圓盤44之敞開及閉合期間經受較高非均勻力時擴展。環64之可撓性允許其及因此密封件58回應於敞開力及閉合力而變形,此降低密封件上之應力且藉此減小磨損以及密封件在圓盤旋轉至敞開位置時被拉出空間90之傾向。另外,使用環64補償密封件在其老化時之彈性損失。此藉由在密封件變得較不剛性時用以減小空間90之大小之環64而完成。 在使用中時,如在圖6中展示,提供一預組裝狀態中之一閥連結器10 (亦見圖1),其中區段12及14以足以允許將管元件插入至中心空間16中而無需拆卸閥連結器10之隔開關係定位。管元件92及94接著經插入至區段12與14之間的中心空間16中且分別與密封件60接合。在此實例中,管元件具有圓周溝槽96,其等接納排列於區段之相對側30及32上之凸出弧面28。如在圖7中展示,擰緊附接部件18 (亦見圖1)以使區段12及14朝向彼此牽引且與管元件92及94接合,凸出弧面28接合管元件中之圓周溝槽96。在區段12及14經牽引朝向彼此時,密封件60被壓縮在區段、閥外殼36及管元件92及94之間以形成一液密接頭。 圖8展示在接頭安裝之後的閥連結器10之最終構形,為簡明起見未展示管元件。應注意,在此例示性實施例中,當閥連結器10經適當安裝時,連接部件18滿足所謂的「襯墊對襯墊」接合。此設計係有利的,因為其允許確認適當安裝之就緒目視檢測,且無需將螺栓24擰緊至一特定扭矩值,但是可使用此項技術中已知的連接部件之其他類型介面。此等類型包含舌片及凹槽介面或其中連接部件未接觸且代替性地依靠透過螺栓或其他構件施加於連接部件上之特定量之扭矩以將閥連結器維持在其最終構形中之介面。 與根據先前技術之閥或閥連結器相比,期望根據本發明之使用保持器62 (諸如例示性環實施例64)之閥及閥連結器歸因於密封件移位而具有增大壓力效能,經受較小磨損及較少故障。

Claims (18)

  1. 一種用於控制流動通過連接至其之管元件之流體之閥,該閥包括: 一外殼,其具有環繞一中心空間之一內面,一凸肩圍繞該內面延伸且朝向該中心空間凸出,藉此界定一凹口; 一閥閉合部件,其安裝於該中心空間內且可在一敞開位置與一閉合位置之間移動; 一密封件,其定位於該凹口內,該密封件在該閥閉合部件處於該閉合位置中時接合該閥閉合部件;及 一環,其定位於該中心空間內而相鄰於該凹口以用於將該密封件保持於該凹口中。

  9. 如請求項1之閥,其中該閥閉合部件包括安裝於可旋轉地安裝於該外殼上之一閥桿上之一圓盤。
  10. 一種用於結合管元件之閥連結器,該閥連結器包括: 複數個區段,其等端部對端部附接至彼此而環繞一中心空間; 一外殼,其夾在該等區段之間,該外殼具有環繞該中心空間之一內面,一凸肩圍繞該內面延伸且朝向該中心空間凸出,藉此界定一凹口; 一閥閉合部件,其安裝於該中心空間內且可在一敞開位置與一閉合位置之間移動; 一密封件,其定位於該凹口內,該密封件在該閥閉合部件處於該閉合位置中時接合該閥閉合部件;及 一環,其定位於該中心空間內而相鄰於該凹口以用於將該密封件保持於該凹中。
