Description

本發明係有關一種包含可交聯聚烯烴及至少一種賦黏劑樹脂之壓敏性黏著劑(PSA),有關應用該壓敏性黏著劑PSA作為溶劑組成物或熱熔黏著劑之方法,及有關其用於黏著性帶之用途。
具有高共聚單體分量之隨機共聚物(又稱塑性體)具有低結晶度及約40℃至60℃之低熔點,或為非晶形。其係用作為硬性聚烯烴之增撓劑或耐衝擊增韌劑。其只可使用於熱熔黏著劑至有限程度,原因在於低熔點表示其並非耐熱性。
此等塑性體被提示用作為略微沾黏性且容易再度剝離之表面保護膜的共同擠塑層。此等薄膜於室溫不具顯著黏結強度(換言之,低於0.1牛頓/厘米);但高於其熔點,可熔封至聚碳酸酯、丙烯酸系玻璃或丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯樹脂(ABS)之面板用來防止刮痕,及隨後再度於室溫移除。自具有高共聚單體分量之隨機共聚物製成的表面保護膜不具良好儲存品質,原因在於於略微升高的儲存溫度下,成卷結塊,表示無法再度將卷展開,且也對使用者不具耐熱性。
因此,尋常係使用具有低共聚單體分量之隨機共聚物,因而具有高於60℃的較高熔點,儘管如此則需較高的熔封溫度。此等薄膜於室溫不具沾黏性。另外,也使用具有聚丙烯酸酯或合成橡膠的壓敏性黏著劑PSA被覆物之薄膜。
塑性體也提示用於表面保護膜,其於室溫(23℃)為沾黏性。透過添加小量塑化劑或賦黏劑(賦黏性樹脂),結晶度降至某種程度,使得即使於室溫,至少在光滑的塑膠面板上或拋光的鋼板上可達成良好沾黏性。但此等黏著劑比較使用軟性隨機共聚物的共同擠塑層,具有又更低的耐熱性,因此並未用作為工業用黏著性帶的壓敏性黏著劑PSA。此外,自此等面板上去除後,此等黏著劑留下一層又薄且又可見的覆蓋物,而被熟諳技藝人士稱作為鬼影(ghosting)。因此理由故,此等黏著劑未曾確立用在所述應用。
因此,用於沾黏性表面保護膜,通常係使用具有聚丙烯酸酯黏著劑或合成橡膠黏著劑之被覆物的薄膜。
當包含賦黏劑樹脂及聚烯烴均聚物諸如低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)(PE-LD)或聚丙烯均聚物之黏著劑,或具有低共聚單體分量之共聚物諸如隨機聚丙烯製備用於熔封層或線性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)(PE-LLD)時,其證實不具沾黏性。
黏著性帶包含或由至少一層(壓敏性)黏著劑組成,該黏著劑典型地係基於天然橡膠、合成橡膠(例如聚異丁烯、苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、苯乙烯-丁二烯橡膠(SBR)),組合賦黏劑樹脂或聚丙烯酸酯,及極為罕見地組合極為昂貴的聚矽氧。典型壓敏性黏著劑PSA具有高黏結強度、剪切強度、熔體的無溶劑式加工能力、高防水性(與以分散液為主的被覆物相反)、有利的成本,或高熱老化安定性及紫外光安定性等性質。
黏著性帶須含有壓敏性黏著劑PSA(黏著劑),其於室溫且通常也於升溫,具有高黏結強度(連結強度)及剪切強度(耐冷流動性)。因此理由故,黏著性帶典型地係使用以天然橡膠、苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、及丙烯酸酯為主的黏著劑製造。天然橡膠黏著劑含有溶劑,及具有低的老化安定性及紫外光安定性。一般係以苯乙烯-異戊二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SIS)為主的苯乙烯嵌段共聚物黏著劑可未使用溶劑地無溶劑式加工處理,但同樣也具有低的老化安定性及紫外光安定性。以氫化苯乙烯嵌段共聚物為主的黏著劑具有低賦黏性(沾黏性)及黏結強度,因此對多種基材的黏著性不良。其同樣也於遠低於100℃的溫度軟化。丙烯酸酯黏著劑具有良好老化安定性及紫外光安定性,但儘管努力至今仍對低能、非極性聚合物諸如聚乙烯(舉例)的黏著性不良。聚矽氧壓敏性黏著劑PSA特別係對低能表面具有良好老化安定性及紫外光安定性及良好黏著性,但極為昂貴且無法使用標準聚矽氧化內襯襯墊(或無法自該內襯再度去除)。
長久以來期望有一種黏著劑,其組合多種黏著劑的正面性質:高黏結強度,並非只於低能表面上,及類似丙烯酸酯黏著劑的老化安定性及紫外光安定性,及也具有有利的成本與足夠的剪切強度。
本發明之目的係提供一種例如用於黏著性帶的壓敏性黏著劑PSA,其具有顯著優點,且同時不具有先前技術的缺點。
此項目的係利用申請專利範圍獨立項之壓敏性黏著劑達成。本發明主旨之優異發展與黏著劑之用途係列示於申請專利範圍之附屬項。
本發明之核心焦點為一種於壓敏性黏著劑的可交聯聚烯烴,包含至少三種不同單體作為天然橡膠或苯乙烯嵌段共聚物諸如苯乙烯-異戊二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物SIS之選擇,其允許製造廉價又老化安定性的黏著性帶,其透過交聯而具有剪切強度。
後文中,壓敏性黏著劑一詞經常縮寫為PSA。本發明的壓敏性黏著劑PSA乃可獲得至少0.5牛頓/厘米,較佳至少1牛頓/厘米的對鋼之黏結強度的黏著性帶之PSA。
如此,本發明提供一種包含可交聯聚烯烴及至少一種賦黏劑樹脂之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該聚烯烴係由至少兩種單體A及單體B以及至少一種適用於交聯的共聚單體C所組成,該等單體A及B係選自於由α-烯烴、乙酸乙烯酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、及甲基丙烯酸甲酯所組成的組群;或於乙烯-丙烯三元橡膠(EPDM)之情況下,一種二烯諸如5-亞乙基-2-原冰片烯、二環戊二烯、或5-乙烯基-2-原冰片烯。可交聯聚烯烴之單體A及B較佳係選自於由α-烯烴所組成的組群,更佳係選自於由乙烯、丙烯、丁烯、己烯及辛烯所組成的組群。
本發明中「聚烯烴」一詞不僅涵蓋嚴格科學定義的聚烯烴,即不僅排它地只由α-烯烴單體所組成;同時也涵蓋習知塑膠技術員對聚烯烴的定義,聚烯烴主要係由α-烯烴單體所組成,但可包含呈共聚合形式之單體,例如乙酸乙烯酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸縮水甘油酯或乙烯基矽烷(例如乙烯基三乙醯氧矽烷、乙烯基三乙氧矽烷);或可以共聚單體諸如矽烷類、甲基丙烯酸縮水甘油酯或順丁烯二酐接枝。
用於本發明之目的的可交聯共聚單體為摻混(藉共聚合或接枝)入聚合物後,允許聚合物之化學交聯。此等共聚單體確實包括二烯類,但唯有於激烈條件下(時間、溫度)可使用過氧化物或以硫為主之硫化作用交聯。因此偏好使用其它可交聯共聚單體,其允許於PSA產業於習知製造條件下化學交聯。此等共聚單體更佳為先前技術於丙烯酸酯PSA所已知者,且特別包含甲基丙烯酸縮水甘油酯、順丁烯二酐及反丁烯二酸、衣康酸、丙烯酸及甲基丙烯酸。
較佳可交聯聚烯烴類首先為乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯、丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯與適合交聯之共聚單體諸如乙烯基矽烷、甲基丙烯酸縮水甘油酯、順丁烯二酐、丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸之三聚物;及其次,以共聚單體接枝之共聚物或三聚物且係選自於由下列所組成之組群:乙烯與丙烯之共聚物、丙烯與丁烯之共聚物、乙烯與辛烯之共聚物、及乙烯、丙烯與二烯之三聚物,該二烯較佳係選自於由5-亞乙基-2-原冰片烯、二環戊二烯及5-乙烯基-2-原冰片烯所組成之組群。
此種聚烯烴至今未曾用於PSA,反而用於共同擠塑膜作為聚烯烴層與聚醯胺層間之黏著促進劑層,作為聚醯胺之耐衝擊改性劑,用於改良玻璃纖維加強聚烯烴化合物之強度,以及作為聚烯烴膜上之熔封層用來積層至複合物鋁箔。
乙烯、丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸與丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯之商業三聚物具有高含量酸分量特徵,其對極性基材諸如金屬、PVC、聚碳酸酯、樹脂玻璃(Plexiglas)或塗料不具有高度黏著性,但無法再度移除,及其理論上允許高度交聯。此等性質結果導致PSA之較佳應用領域。
乙烯及/或丙烯或EPDM橡膠以順丁烯二酐接枝之商業共聚物具有低酸含量,因此可能也可再度自極性基材去除。
於反應擠塑機內藉過氧化物接枝而聚烯烴摻混共聚單體並未用於溶劑組成物;由於凝膠分量的風險,反而係較多用於熱熔PSA。優點之一為此種聚烯烴於市場上的取得性不受限制,於室內製造方便取得。其次,可避免使用溶劑。藉共聚合而摻混共聚單體之聚烯烴適合用作為兩種黏著劑;考慮良好溶解度,由溶液施用為佳,此項應用使用熱熔PSA例如於低被覆物重量難以實現或無法實現。
根據本發明之一個優異實施例,聚烯烴中共聚單體C之含量係於自0.4%至5%重量比之範圍。
考慮剪切強度,本發明之聚烯烴較佳具有小於10,更佳小於1,更佳小於0.5,及特佳小於0.1克/10分鐘之熔體指數。若對剪切強度的要求並不確切,但良好加工性質相當重要,則熔體指數須大於或等於0.5克/10分鐘。熔體指數係根據ISO 1133於2.16千克下測試,且以克/10分鐘表示。本文揭示所陳述之數值如熟諳技藝人士所已知,係於不同溫度測定作為聚烯烴主要單體之函數;以主要含乙烯或含丁烯之聚合物為例,相關溫度為190℃;而於主要含丙烯之聚合物之情況下為230℃。
聚烯烴之穆尼(Mooney)黏度較佳係大於5,更佳係大於35,特佳係大於60。係根據ASTM D1646遵照ML 1+4於125℃測定。
於含順丁烯二酐聚合物之情況下,水分之入侵伴隨有酐環水解,可能影響熔體指數及穆尼黏度。
聚烯烴之彎曲模數較佳係小於50 MPa,更佳係小於26 MPa;聚烯烴較佳為非晶形及/或具有低於105℃之結晶熔點。熔化熱較佳係低於18焦耳/克,更佳係低於3焦耳/克。
自此等性質過度延伸造成結晶度變成過高,因而導致低沾黏性。
彎曲模數可根據ASTM D 790(於2%應變之正割模數)測定。
聚烯烴之結晶熔點及熔化熱係依據ISO 3146使用10℃/分鐘之加熱速率藉DSC(梅特勒(Mettler)DSC 822)測定。當出現兩個或多個熔峰時,所選定之結晶熔點具有最高溫度,熔化熱係自全部熔峰之和測定。當本發明之聚烯烴係藉接枝,經由將單體或過氧化物母批料添加至另一種聚烯烴而製備時,不必考慮其結晶熔點及其熔化熱。
本發明之聚烯烴於壓敏性黏著劑之含量較佳為15%至60%重量比,更佳為20%至40%重量比。
該含量實際上係藉剪切強度及沾黏性間要求的平衡來決定。
依據又一個優異實施例,當未添加額外輔劑或其它添加劑時,賦黏劑樹脂之分量為40%至80%重量比,更佳為60%至80%重量比。
本發明之聚烯烴可組合自橡膠組成物為已知之彈性體,諸如天然橡膠或合成橡膠。較佳使用不飽和彈性體,諸如天然橡膠、SBR、NBR、或不飽和苯乙烯嵌段共聚物,其用量為絲毫也未使用或只使用小量,表示其分量須不大於5%重量比。於主鏈具有飽和度之合成橡膠諸如聚異丁烯、丁基橡膠、HNBR或氫化苯乙烯嵌段共聚物於期望改性之情況下為較佳。特佳為本發明之聚烯烴與一種共聚物之混合物,該共聚物除了共聚單體之外皆為類似,換言之,已接枝之烯烴共聚物與同樣未接枝之烯烴共聚物之混合物,原因在於如此表示可降低原料成本。
賦黏劑樹脂之用量較佳為80至300 phr,更佳為150至200 phr。「phr」表示相對於100份重量比橡膠或聚合物之添加劑的份數重量比(相對於每百份橡膠或樹脂之份數),於此處係以100份重量比聚烯烴為基準。
透過賦黏劑樹脂之軟化點(依據DIN ISO 4625測定),調整剪切強度與沾黏性間之平衡,較佳為85℃至125℃。
出乎意外地發現與習知橡膠組成物相反,本發明之黏著劑的沾黏性及黏結強度與樹脂之聚合散度有高度相依性。聚合散度為於莫耳質量分佈中重量平均對數目平均之比,且可利用凝膠滲透層析術測定(PD=Mw/Mn)。因此所使用的賦黏劑樹脂為具有小於2.1,較佳小於1.8,更佳小於1.6之聚合散度。使用具有1.0至1.4之聚合散度的樹脂可達成最大沾黏性。重量平均分子量Mw及數目平均分子量Mn係利用凝膠滲透層析術(GPC)測定。所使用之洗提劑為具有0.1%體積比三氟乙酸之THF。測量係於25℃進行。可使用之初步管柱為PSS-SDV,5微米,103埃,ID 8.0毫米×50毫米。分離係使用PSS-SDV,5微米,103及105及106管柱進行,各自具有ID 8.0毫米×300毫米。試樣濃度為4克/升,流動速率為每分鐘1.0毫升。對PMMA標準品作測量(μ=微米;1埃=10-10米)。
用於本發明之PSA高度適合之賦黏劑樹脂為基於松香或基於松香衍生物之樹脂(例如複分解松香、二聚合松香或酯化松香),較佳係呈部分氫化或完全氫化形式。於全部賦黏劑樹脂中,其具有最大沾黏性,較佳係由於1.0至1.2之低聚合散度的結果。萜烯酚系樹脂同樣也適合,但結果只導致中等沾黏性,但另一方面具有極佳剪切強度及耐老化性。
偏好使用烴樹脂,推定由於其極性緣故,高度可相容性。此等樹脂例如為芳香族樹脂諸如香豆素酮-茚樹脂或以苯乙烯或α-甲基苯乙烯為主之樹脂,或得自C5單體聚合之環脂族烴樹脂,諸如得自裂解器的C5餾分或C9餾分之哌烯,或萜烯類諸如β-蒎烯或δ-檸烯或其組合物,較佳係呈部分或完全氫化形式,及經由含芳香烯樹脂或環戊二烯聚合物氫化所得之烴樹脂。
若特別沾黏性,則黏著劑較佳包含液體塑化劑諸如脂肪族(鏈烷烴或分支)、環脂族(環烷烴)及芳香族礦油類、鄰苯二酸、偏苯三酸、檸檬酸或己二酸之酯類、液體橡膠(例如低分子量腈橡膠、丁二烯橡膠或聚異戊間二烯橡膠)、異丁烯及/或丁烯之液體聚合物、具有低於40℃之軟化點且係以賦黏劑樹脂原料為基礎的液體樹脂及塑化劑樹脂,更特別為前述賦黏劑樹脂類別。特別偏好液體異丁烯聚合物,諸如異丁烯均聚物或異丁烯-丁烯共聚物,及具有低於40℃之軟化點之液體樹脂及塑化劑樹脂。礦油極為廉價,特別適合用於提供沾黏性予聚烯烴,但可能遷移至黏結基材諸如紙張;於其一個具體實施例中,PSA實質上不含礦油。塑化劑之含量較佳為50 phr至120 phr。
但為了獲得最佳性質,所採用之PSA可與額外添加劑摻混,諸如一次抗氧化劑及二次抗氧化劑、填充劑、阻燃劑、顏料、紫外光吸收劑、抗臭氧劑、金屬去活化劑、光安定劑、光起始劑、交聯劑或交聯促進劑。適當填充劑及顏料之實例包括碳黑、二氧化鈦、碳酸鈣、碳酸鋅、玻璃纖維或聚合物纖維、玻璃或聚合物之實心或空心結構諸如微氣球、氧化鋅、矽酸鹽類或二氧化矽。額外可能為本發明之黏著劑而未使用抗氧化劑及光安定劑,原因在於安定性比習知橡膠黏著劑高,此乃用於醫療應用及包裝應用(食物)的優點。
依據一個優異具體實施例,添加劑之分量和不超過5%重量比。
本發明之壓敏性黏著劑可藉多種方法施用至載體材料。依據既有工廠、目標被覆物重量、交聯反應速率、及聚烯烴溶解度而定,PSA之製備及被覆係自溶液或自熔體藉被覆於載體上進行,或與載體經由共同擠塑進行。當PSA係自溶液加工時,PSA較佳係製備或溶解於甲苯及然後施用(被覆)。熔體之適當製備方法包括批次法及連續法。特別偏好利用擠塑機連續製造PSA,及其隨後直接被覆至目標基材上,黏著劑係於適當高溫。本發明之PSA之較佳被覆程序為使用槽模進行擠塑被覆,及壓延被覆。
依據應用用途而定,本發明之主旨可用於單面或雙面黏著性帶。當黏著性帶具有多層組成時,兩層或多層可藉共同擠塑、積層或被覆而彼此向上施用堆疊。被覆可直接於載體上施行,或於內襯上包括於製程中的內襯上進行。
(壓敏性)黏著劑可存在
-不含載體且不含額外層,
-不含載體,而含有額外PSA層,
-於載體上單面,或載體的另一面載有另一種PSA,較佳係以聚丙烯酸酯為主,或熔封層,或
-於載體上雙面,該種情況下兩種PSA具有相同組成或不同組成。
於雙面黏著性帶用途中,黏著劑係襯裡在內襯的一面或兩面上。產物之內襯或製程中之內襯例如離型紙或離型膜帶有離型被覆物,較佳帶有聚矽氧被覆物。內襯載體預期例如為聚酯薄膜或聚丙烯薄膜,或壓延紙帶有或未帶有被覆物。
層之被覆物重量(被覆物厚度)較佳為15至300克/平方米,更佳為20至75克/平方米。
黏著性帶較佳具有至少0.5牛頓/厘米,更佳至少2牛頓/厘米,及特佳至少9牛頓/厘米對鋼之黏結強度。黏著性帶較佳具有至少2牛頓/厘米,更佳至少4牛頓/厘米,及特佳至少8牛頓/厘米對LDPE(PE-LD)之黏結強度。除非另行載明,否則黏結強度係依據AFERA 4001於寬15毫米之測試長條上以180度之撕離強度測定。基材分別為依據AFERA 4001之鋼板或LDPE板。
黏著性帶較佳具有至少200分鐘,更佳至少1000分鐘,更特別至少5000分鐘之剪切強度。測試原則上係依據EP 1 582 575 B1,[0066]段進行(此處測試係於23℃於鋼上使用1千克測試重量進行)。剪切強度稱作為剪切耐受時間。
於微剪切移形測試中,黏著性帶較佳具有至少15%,更佳至少50%之彈性組分。測試原則上係如EP 1 582 575 B1,[0067]段所述進行(此處測試係於40℃於鋼上使用100克測試重量進行)。彈性組分係藉公式(μS1-μS2)/μS1計算且以%表示。
本發明之壓敏性黏著劑較佳係經由共聚單體C之反應而化學交聯。以乙烯基矽烷接枝之聚烯烴,諸如乙烯基三乙氧矽烷具有下述優點,只有於熔體被覆之後才藉水分進行交聯,由於自我交聯故儲存壽命也受限制;以及於厚層的情況下,水分入侵的可能有限。以丙烯酸羥乙酯、甲基丙烯酸羥乙酯、不飽和酸或其衍生物接枝之聚烯烴具有儲存壽命無限的優點;以及於自溶液加工之情況下,其可使用習知用於天然橡膠黏著劑及丙烯酸酯黏著劑之交聯劑交聯,諸如異氰酸酯類、環氧化物類、鈦化合物、鋁化合物、唑啉類、吖類或胺類。使用酸或其衍生物接枝之聚烯烴也可自熔體被覆且並列交聯。雖然如此限制適當交聯劑的選擇,但胺類及環氧化物類可混合至熔體,只要正確選擇交聯劑及加工條件即可,藉此方式,PSA經交聯及又可自熔體被覆。於自熔體加工之情況下,以電離產生性交聯為特佳,原因在於交聯為熱可逆,而不會中斷自熔體的被覆操作。結果為對終端用途而言交聯可有效直到高於100℃,但允許於剪切及溫度的作用之下高於約170℃熱塑性加工。適合用於此項目的者為酸與一價及二價金屬離子特別鋅及錳所生成之鹽。該等鹽可經由單體諸如丙烯酸鋅之共聚合或接枝而產生,或更單純藉含酸聚合物或含酸酐聚合物與金屬化合物諸如氧化鋅或氫氧化鎂反應而產生。烯烴聚合物使用共聚單體接枝可於擠塑機內於熔體進行,或於固相法進行(例如得自克梅查(Kometra)公司)。由於通常係於過氧化物之存在下進行,故烯烴聚合物可部分交聯,因而無法使用本發明之聚烯烴於溶液,至少使得其更難以用於熔體。結果,製程條件及烯烴聚合物的選擇相當重要。飽和烯烴聚合物,特別為具有低乙烯含量之烯烴聚合物比具有二烯單體高分量的EPDM橡膠更適合用於此一方面。已經證實特別適合之一種方法為其中烯烴聚合物於較佳10%至20%強度溶液,例如於甲苯或正己烷較佳係於沸點接枝而未進行交聯。然後溶液需要混合賦黏劑樹脂及任何額外添加劑,特別交聯劑來獲得即用型PSA。
至於載體材料,可使用全部已知之載體,其實例為稀紗、織造織物、針織織物、非織物、薄膜、紙張、薄絹、泡沫體及發泡薄膜。適當薄膜為聚丙烯,較佳為定向聚丙烯、聚酯、未經塑化及/或經塑化之PVC。偏好使用聚烯烴泡沫體、聚胺基甲酸酯泡沫體、EPDM及氯丁二烯泡沫體。聚烯烴於此處稱作為聚乙烯及聚丙烯,考慮柔軟度以聚乙烯為佳。「聚乙烯」一詞包括LDPE,也包括乙烯共聚物諸如LLDPE及EVA。特別適合者為已交聯之聚乙烯泡沫體或黏彈性載體。後者較佳為聚丙烯酸酯,更佳係以中空玻璃或聚合物結構體填補。
於組合黏著劑前,載體可藉打底或藉物理前處理諸如電暈處理準備。用於雙面黏著性帶,交聯聚乙烯泡沫體係以此種方式處理,原因在於丙烯酸酯PSA對此種泡沫體的黏著性極差,即使經過處理仍非極為令人滿意。因此,全然出乎意外地,本發明之組成物可優異地黏著至此種泡沫體,甚至表面未經處理亦如此,換言之,於強制試圖脫離時,泡沫體受損。
相反地黏著性帶特別若載體係由聚烯烴所組成之黏著性帶可提供例如聚胺甲酸乙烯酯硬脂酸酯或聚矽氧之離型塗覆物。
於本發明之內文,「黏著性帶」表示法涵蓋全部片狀結構體諸如二維延伸薄膜或薄膜區段、具有延長長度及有限寬度之薄帶、薄帶區段、模切物、標籤等。黏著性帶較佳係呈卷形式的連續片材形式而非模切物的標籤。黏著性帶可以卷形式製造,換言之,呈阿基米德蝸線形式自身捲繞。
壓敏性黏著劑特別適合用於低能表面諸如非極性塗料、印刷板、聚乙烯、聚丙烯或EPDM,換言之,適合用於熔封或帶狀聚烯烴袋或固定烯烴塑膠或彈性體部件,特別為塑膠部件至馬達車輛。因此本發明之主旨用於化妝品包裝(例如沐浴乳瓶或洗髮精瓶)的標籤為理想,原因在於其高度透明,良好黏著至塑膠瓶,具有防水性且對老化安定。於保全標籤諸如磁性警報標籤或資料載體諸如荷洛斯巴(Holospot)(特沙(tesa)荷洛斯巴是一種含有資訊陣列而大小只有數平方毫米的自黏性聚合物標籤;其牢固黏著至產品及含有各種公開式及隱藏式保全結構,事先使用高解析度雷射書寫入資訊陣列),本發明之主旨可解決習知黏著劑至非極性基材之黏著性不良的問題。本發明之PSA於黏著性帶也適合用於黏結至皮膚以及建築領域的粗糙基材,作為黏著性包裝袋以及用於包裹應用。於皮膚上的應用實例為成卷的硬膏劑及單張硬膏劑、用於結腸造口術袋及電極黏結的模切物、活性物質貼片(經皮貼片)及繃帶。考慮對老化之安定性,PSA可避免皮膚刺激性或具有其它化學效應的物質。本發明之PSA因此也適合用於組成衛生產品諸如紙尿褲、紙尿布或衛生棉,及此外特別係黏著至用於此等產品的聚烯烴薄膜及非織物,且具有比較習知氫化苯乙烯嵌段共聚物組成物更低的成本及更高的熱安定性。包裹應用之實例為熱絕緣及製造汽車電纜肋板。本發明之黏著劑不似天然橡膠或合成橡膠黏著劑,本發明黏著劑甚至於高溫可與PP、PE及PVC電線絕緣相容。於建築應用諸如硬膏劑帶,用於屋頂絕緣膜(對抗水蒸氣或液體水的障體膜)之黏著連結以及作為密封用途及其它戶外用途的瀝青黏著性帶,觀察得於低溫條件下具有良好黏結效能,也具有相對較佳的紫外光安定性。進一步應用為用於經印刷或非印刷薄膜片材的連續黏結,以及作為黏著劑障壁帶來對抗光伏模組或電子組件中的水分及氧氣的擴散。本發明額外適合用於黏著劑之黏彈性層,該等黏彈性層為一次且同時可滿足PSA功能及載體功能,至目前為止係以約0.5毫米至3毫米之層厚度自昂貴的聚丙烯酸酯製造,某些情況下額外提供更具有沾黏性之聚丙烯酸酯外層。
後文將藉實例舉例說明本發明,但非意圖藉此囿限本發明之範圍。

混合物於輥施用器單元上成型而製成重1000克/平方米之黏著劑層。此層於兩面上以電暈處理及每側與100克/平方米丙烯酸酯組成物積層。丙烯酸酯組成物製備如下:
習知用於自由基聚合反應之反應器內進給45千克丙烯酸2-乙基己酯,45千克丙烯酸正丁酯,5千克丙烯酸甲酯,5千克丙烯酸及66千克丙酮/異丙醇(92.5:7.5)。以攪拌允許氮氣通過反應器歷45分鐘後,反應器加熱至58℃及添加50克AIBN。然後外部加熱器加熱至75℃,反應於此外溫恆定進行。1小時後又添加50克AIBN,4小時後以20千克丙酮/異丙醇混合物進行稀釋。5小時後及再度於7小時後,每次使用150克過氧二碳酸貳(4-第三丁基環己基)酯進行再起始。經22小時反應時間後,中止聚合及進行冷卻至室溫。聚碳酸酯具有99.6%轉化率,59 K值,54%固體含量,平均分子量Mw=557 000克/莫耳,聚合散度PD(Mw/Mn)=7.6。丙烯酸酯聚合物溶液使用擠塑機於減壓下去除溶劑,於第二步聚驟,以70份重比丙烯酸酯聚合物對30份重量比德托芬(Dertophene)DT 1100之比例摻混,也摻混環氧交聯劑及胺加速劑。隨後此丙烯酸酯組成物以100克/平方米施用至雙面矽化聚酯膜,且與前述聚胺甲酸酯黏著層積層。以90度撕離角度測定黏結強度測量值。
實例12
28份重量比路卡連A 2910 M,54份重量比艾克瑞茲1310及18份重量比印朵波H-100於熔體混合,且以250克/平方米被覆重量被覆至以三氯乙酸蝕刻的25微米聚酯膜上。
實例13
以實例12之相同方式進行製備,但添加2份重量比波利帕斯R-16及2份重量比波利帕斯H-205,各自係相對於100份重量比黏著劑基準(聚合物及添加劑但不含溶劑)。
比較例3
以實例12之相同方式進行製備,但使用洛奇兒7 BA 01替代路卡連A 2910 M。
實例14
英格治7447係於擠塑機上以1%重量比順丁烯二酐接枝。28份重量比聚合物,54份重量比艾克瑞茲1310,18份重量比歐第納933及0.5份重量比伊加諾1076於熔體混合及自熔體以300克/平方米被覆重量被覆於以三氯乙酸蝕刻至25微米聚酯膜上。
實例15
黏著劑具有實例14之配方但係於溶液(甲苯)製備,被覆於以三氯乙酸蝕刻至25微米聚酯膜上。被覆重量為50克/平方米。

類似實例14,但係使用未經接枝之英格治7447。
實例16
以實例15之相同方式進行製備,但以聚合物為基準,添加1.65份重量比乙醯丙酮酸鋁。

25.5份重量比艾瓦洛伊AC 3517 Si,54份重量比艾克瑞茲1310,及20份重量比歐第納933混合於熔體,及以225克/平方米被覆重量被覆於經以三氯乙酸蝕刻之25微米聚酯膜上。

以實例17之相同方式進行製備,但於交聯測量之前試驗件係儲存於80%相對濕度及40℃歷3日。

以實例21之相同方式進行製備,但使用布納EP G 2170 VP。
結果
E=實例,CE=比較例,CF=內聚失敗(黏著裂開),AF=黏著失敗(黏著劑自基材離層但未流動)。
透過摻混極性單體,由較高剪切強度及較低微剪切移行顯然易知內聚力(對冷流動之抗性)改良。摻混酸類或酐類而未排除水分,可由透過氫鍵的極性交互作用來解析。特別係藉交聯改良大增。交聯特別係導致微剪切移行測量值中之顯著彈性組分,告知熟諳技藝人士於(流動路徑)之時程中的冷流動被中斷或至少被來自於變形網路之相反力量顯著減低。當交聯劑之添加量過高時,可能有黏著斷裂(AF),剪切強度顯示大量散布,原因在於試樣並未被剪斷,反而係進行機會離層(例如參考實例4至實例6)。經由微剪切移行之彈性成分的降級也顯示過度交聯,原因在於該種情況下聚合物的表現已經略為類似熱固性物質;此種現象以丙烯酸酯PSA為眾所周知。透過摻混極性單體,可提高於極性基材諸如鋼的黏結強度,但減低於非極性基材諸如LDPE的黏結強度。如對基於天然橡膠及丙烯酸酯之溶劑組成物已知,黏結強度係交聯而減低。

Claims (20)

  1. 一種壓敏性黏著劑,其係包含可交聯聚烯烴及至少一種賦黏劑樹脂,其中該聚烯烴係由至少兩種單體A及單體B以及至少一種適用於交聯的共聚單體C所組成,該等單體A及B係選自於由α-烯烴、乙酸乙烯酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、及二烯所組成的群組,其中該壓敏性黏著劑係經交聯的,該賦黏劑樹脂之用量為80至300phr,其中:該聚烯烴為乙烯、丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯及一種適用於交聯之共聚單體之三聚物;或為以該共聚單體接枝之共聚物,其係選自於由下列所組成的群組:乙烯與丙烯之共聚物、丙烯與丁烯之共聚物、己烯或辛烯之共聚物、丙烯與丁烯之共聚物;及乙烯、丙烯與選自於由5-亞乙基-2-原冰片烯、二環戊二烯、及5-乙烯基-2-原冰片烯所組成的群組中之一種二烯之三聚物。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該二烯包括5-亞乙基-2-原冰片烯、二環戊二烯、或5-乙烯基-2-原冰片烯。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該可交聯聚烯烴之至少兩種單體A及B係選自於由α-烯烴所組成的群組。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該可交 聯聚烯烴之至少兩種單體A及B係選自於由乙烯、丙烯、丁烯、己烯、及辛烯所組成的群組。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該聚烯烴具有小於10之熔體指數及/或大於5之穆尼(Mooney)黏度。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該聚烯烴為乙烯、丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯及一種共聚單體之三聚物,該共聚單體適用於交聯且為乙烯基矽烷、丙烯酸、或甲基丙烯酸;或為以該共聚單體接枝之共聚物,其係選自於由下列所組成的群組:乙烯與丙烯之共聚物、丙烯與丁烯之共聚物、己烯或辛烯之共聚物、丙烯與丁烯之共聚物;及乙烯、丙烯與選自於由5-亞乙基-2-原冰片烯、二環戊二烯、及5-乙烯基-2-原冰片烯所組成的群組中之一種二烯之三聚物。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該聚烯烴係藉由至少兩種單體A及單體B與共聚單體C之共聚合獲得,該共聚單體C係選自於由不飽和有機酸類或其鹽類所組成的群組,其中該不飽和有機酸類包括反丁烯二酸、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、或衣康酸。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該聚烯烴係藉由至少兩種單體A及單體B之聚合反應,以及將共聚單體C接枝至此種聚合物獲得,該共聚單體為乙烯基矽 烷或甲基丙烯酸羥乙酯,或係選自於由不飽和有機酸類、其酐類或鹽類所組成的群組。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之壓敏性黏著劑,其中該壓敏性黏著劑包含塑化劑,其係選自於由礦油類、液體賦黏劑樹脂類、異丁烯均聚物及/或異丁烯-丁烯共聚物之液體聚合物、及鄰苯二酸、偏苯三酸、檸檬酸或己二酸與分支辛醇及壬醇之酯類所組成的群組。
  10. 一種如申請專利範圍第1至9項中任一項之壓敏性黏著劑之用途,其中該壓敏性黏著劑係自溶液施用至載體,且係藉異氰酸酯、環氧化物、鈦化合物、鋁化合物、唑啉、吖、或胺而交聯。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第10項之用途,其中該壓敏性黏著劑係自甲苯施用。
  12. 一種如申請專利範圍第1至9項中任一項之壓敏性黏著劑之用途,其中該壓敏性黏著劑係自熔體施用至載體,且係藉環氧化物、胺、鋅化合物、或鎂化合物而交聯。
  13. 一種如申請專利範圍第1至9項中任一項之壓敏性黏著劑之用途,其係用於單面黏著性帶或雙面黏著性帶,該黏著性帶在至少一面上具有至少0.5牛頓/厘米之對鋼的黏結強度;及/或至少2牛頓/厘米之對LDPE的黏結強度。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第13項之用途,其中於一被覆物中該壓敏性黏著劑之被覆重量為15克/平方米至300克/平方米。
  15. 如申請專利範圍第13或14項之用途,其中該單面黏著性帶或雙面黏著性帶之剪切強度為至少200分鐘及/或微剪切移行測試所測得的彈性組分為至少15%。
  16. 如申請專利範圍第13或14項之用途,其中該單面黏著性帶或雙面黏著性帶具有聚乙烯泡沫體載體,該載體之表面係與未經(前)處理的黏著劑接觸。
  17. 如申請專利範圍第16項之用途,其中該載體為不織布、薄絹、薄膜或泡沫體、或黏彈性載體。
  18. 如申請專利範圍第17項之用途,其中該泡沫體為交聯聚乙烯泡沫體。
  19. 如申請專利範圍第13或14項之用途,其係用於黏著性黏結至低能表面、薄膜、皮膚、或建築領域的粗糙基材,作為標籤,作為黏著性障壁帶,或者係用於包裹應用。
  20. 如申請專利範圍第19項之用途,其中該薄膜包括屋頂絕緣膜且該包裹應用包括汽車電纜肋板製造(automotive cable loom production)。
