Description
本發明係關於一種含有顆粒狀固體、有機或水性介質、及帶有衍生自磷酸之頭基之化合物的組成物。本發明進一步係關於新穎化合物,及該化合物用作為分散劑之用途。
於整張片材模製複合物(SMC)應用中製造分散體或糊料,藉此將填充劑典型為碳酸鈣或氧化鋁三水合物(ATH)混合於聚酯樹脂。本糊料傾倒於、展布於或噴灑於輸送帶上的載體薄膜上,此時添加已短切的玻璃纖維。此等纖維將提供於終複合物中之加強。氧化鎂粉末或糊料連同過氧化物及其它添加物添加至該混合物,接著為添加第二載體薄膜,及所得混合物通過輥輪壓縮來摻混所添加的成分。氧化鎂之功能係於複合物內部建立網絡,藉此顯著且快速地提高黏度至一點,於此點該全體組成物為半固體。如此所形成之片材複合物隨後可捲成一卷(類似成卷的地毯或毛氈)及於冷藏條件下儲存及運送。如此所形成之SMC的終端使用者可由該卷切割各塊至期望的尺寸,將該塊放置於一對模具內,以及藉模具所提供之加熱及加壓,片材被壓縮成該匹配的成對模具之形狀,複合物交聯而形成剛性融合部件或物件。
當添加氧化鎂時,快速出現增稠機轉及增稠至高稠度程度(例如於數日內自8000毫泊(millipoise)增稠至500,000毫泊),因此SMC的形成至該片材捲成卷儲存間之時間間隔縮短。酸性分散劑雖然於初步經填充的糊料形成時提供良好黏度降低及良好濕潤性,但若酸性過強,則可能於隨後之藉氧化鎂所起始的增稠階段或熟成階段產生不利效應。相信高度酸性分散劑錨定於氧化鎂顆粒表面,如此防止顆粒與不飽和聚酯內之較非酸性基團形成鍵結。如此可知具有最佳酸度之分散劑將提供優於更強酸性分散劑的獨特優點。
於此種具有最佳酸度之分散劑之類似方法及優點可於散裝材料模製複合物(BMC)觀察得,此處已冷藏儲存之材料係呈散裝材料形式諸如糰料球或糰料塊而非片材或卷材。
專利參考文獻中有多個公開文獻,其揭示衍生自聚(C2-4-伸烷基亞胺)諸如聚伸乙基亞胺之聚酯胺分散劑,於該分散劑上附接聚酯鏈。如US 4,224,212之揭示,聚酯鏈可衍生12-羥硬脂酸,或如US 5,700,395及US 6,197,877之揭示聚酯鏈可衍生自兩種或多種不同羥羧酸或其內酯。此等分散劑可有效用於一般工業塗覆物,特別為線圈塗覆塗料調配物中之無機顏料及填充劑。但容易造成終產物塗料塗覆物的黃化及最終塗覆物之光澤值/濁度值降低。如US 5,300,255之揭示,聚酯磷酸酯分散劑含有類似的聚酯鏈,其係附接至磷酸基,容易防止造成終產物塗料塗覆物的黃化,但由於聚酯鏈與塗料配方間之不可相容性,塗料薄膜之光澤值及濁度值可能降級。聚酯胺及聚酯磷酸酯分散劑之其它缺點為於室溫於多種極性溶劑可能孕核晶種或結晶化。結果尋求酸性分散劑其可將無機顏料或填充劑分散於有機介質諸如極性有機液而不會有前述缺點。
含有端末酸基諸如磷酸基之分散劑為已知,通常係經由以羥基為端基之聚合物鏈與五氧化磷、磷醯氯、三氯化磷及五氯化磷或多聚磷酸反應而製備。聚合物鏈通常為含端末羥基之聚酯鏈或聚烷氧酸酯鏈。
美國專利案5,151,218及5,130,463揭示一種分散劑磷酸酯及其鹽類,其中該酯基為脂肪族、環脂族及/或芳香族部分不含澤列維季諾夫(Zerewitinoff)氫,含有至少一個醚氧原子(-O-)及至少一個羧酸酯基(-COO-)及/或胺甲酸酯基(-NCOO-)。分散劑可用於多種塗覆及/或熱固性複合物應用。美國專利案5,130,463也揭示含有衍生自ε-己內酯與多聚磷酸反應之聚醚/聚酯之分散劑。該等分散劑可用於極性介質諸如酮類及酯類。美國專利案6,562,897揭示含有衍生自ε-己內酯及δ-戊內酯與多聚磷酸反應之聚醚/聚酯。全部三個專利案之分散劑皆可用於極性介質諸如酮類及酯類。
美國專利案5,464,895及5,412,139皆揭示適合用於熱固性組成物之聚芳基有機磷酸酯分散劑。
美國專利案6,051,627揭示包括衍生自環氧乙烷及環氧丙烷與多聚磷酸反應之聚醚之分散劑。該等分散劑可用於極性介質諸如酮類、酯類及水。
美國專利案2,213,477;2,454,542;3,004,056;3,004,057,3,010,903,3,033,889,3,099,676,3,235,627;4,456,485;4,720,514;4,872,916;及5,914,072皆揭示含有端未羥基其已經與多種磷酸化劑反應之聚烷氧酸酯類。
美國專利案3,462,520揭示線性C8-20鏈聚烷氧酸酯之磷酸酯之製備。其中之參考文獻也揭示烷基化酚之乙氧酸酯、分支鏈脂肪醇之乙氧酸酯及含C10-15原子之線性第一醇之乙氧酸酯之磷酸酯類的製備。全部此等組成物皆可用於水性應用作為乳化劑、濕潤劑、分散劑、清潔劑等。
US 5,160,725揭示甲氧聚乙二醇磷酸酯之製備及其用作為水溶液中磁性顆粒諸如氧化鐵之分散劑。
US 6,500,917揭示自相對應之二芳基或二芳烷基磷酸酯製備甲氧聚乙二醇磷酸酯。
發明概要
本發明發明人發現具有一種可用於包含有機介質之組成物之分散劑。該有機介質可包括塗料及塑料(諸如熱固性材料)。
本發明發明人發現具有一種熱固性(包括(i)熱固性樹脂或(ii)已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑料)組成物含有可提供下列中之至少一者之化合物:(i)利用含端未酸基之化合物之分散性質,(ii)提供可接受之分散性,(iii)提供可接受之切變安定性,(iv)提供可接受之儲存安定性,及(v)提供可接受之黏度控制(增稠效能)。
於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種式(1)化合物(典型為一酯)及其鹽類:[RO-(CH2CH2O)m]n-P(=O)(OH)3-n式(1)其中R可為C1-6(或C1-4)烴基或氫羰基(典型地R可為甲基或乙基);m可為4至40或4至30;及n可為1或2(典型地n可為1)。
於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種組成物包含顆粒狀固體、有機或水性介質及具有衍生自式(1)化合物及其鹽類之頭基(head group)之化合物。組成物可為分散劑。該分散劑特別適合用於塗覆物諸如塗料及塑料。塑料可為熱固性樹脂或交聯或融合熱固性塑料。
於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種組成物包含顆粒狀固體,亦即(i)熱固性樹脂,或(ii)已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑料;及式(1)化合物(典型為一酯)及其鹽類:[RO-(CH2CH2O)m]n-P(=O)(OH)3-n式(1)其中R可為C1-6(或C1-4)烴基(hydrocarbyl)或氫羰基(hydrocarbonyl)(典型地R可為甲基或乙基);m可為4至40或4至30;及n可為1或2(典型地n可為1)。

於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種組成物包含顆粒狀固體(典型為顏料或填充劑)、有機液體、具有衍生自式(1)化合物之頭基之化合物。當本發明組成物為塗料時,熟諳技藝人士由一般普通常識瞭解塗料組成物也包含薄膜形成性樹脂或薄膜連結劑。此等樹脂之實例包括聚醯胺類諸如凡薩米(Versamid)及沃法米(Wolfamid)及纖維素醚類諸如乙基纖維素及乙基羥乙基纖維素、硝基纖維素及乙酸丁酸纖維素樹脂包括其混合物。塗料樹脂之實例包括低乾性油醇酸樹脂/三聚氰胺-甲醛、聚酯/三聚氰胺-甲醛、熱固性丙烯酸系樹脂/三聚氰胺-甲醛、長油醇酸樹脂、聚醚多元醇類及多介質樹脂諸如丙烯酸系及脲/醛。包括於所謂之二包裝系統中於周圍溫度使用反應性硬化劑交聯之樹脂,其實例為羥丙烯酸系、多元醇類、胺甲酸酯類、及環氧化物類。

本發明提供一種如前文揭示之組成物。
R可為甲基、乙基、丙基、丁基、戊基、己基、乙醯基、丙醯基、異丙基、異丁基、或其混合物。
式(1)化合物可經由一種方法製備,包含選擇性地於惰性溶劑及/或惰性氣氛存在下,磷酸化劑與聚伸烷基二醇一烷基醚反應。
磷酸化劑對該聚伸烷基二醇一烷基醚之莫耳比可為3:1至1:3,或1:1。
反應可於40℃至150℃,或60℃至130℃之溫度進行。為了減少式(1)化合物的變色,溫度可低於125℃。
磷酸化劑可包括POCl3、P2O5、P4O10、多聚磷酸或其混合物。
聚伸烷基二醇一烷基醚可包括聚乙二醇一甲醚、聚乙二醇一乙醚、聚乙二醇一丙醚、或其混合物。
適當惰性溶劑之實例包括脂肪族烴類諸如辛烷、石油醚類、石油英、礦油精類及煤油:芳香族烴類諸如苯、甲苯及二甲苯;鹵化脂肪族烴類諸如三氯乙烷、四氯乙烷、及芳香族鹵化烴類諸如二氯苯及三氯苯。於一個實施例中,式(1)化合物可於無惰性溶劑存在下製備。
典型地,反應可於惰性氣氛下進行。惰性氣氛可由週期表之惰性氣體中之任一者提供。於一個實施例中,該惰性氣體可為氮氣。
於一個實施例中,式(1)化合物可為分散劑。
於不同實施例中,式(1)化合物可以選自於0.1 wt%至50 wt%或0.25 wt%至35 wt%及0.5 wt%至30 wt%之範圍存在於本發明之組成物。
存在於組成物之顆粒狀固體可為任一種無機固體材料,其於相關溫度實質上不可溶於有機介質,及其期望呈精細分割形式於其中安定化。顆粒狀固體可呈顆粒狀材料、纖維或小片形式或呈粉末經常為吹製粉末形式。於一個實施例中,顆粒狀固體可為顏料。

於一個實施例中,固體可為有機顏料。有機顏料之實例包括偶氮色澱、金屬錯合物顏料、及酸染料、鹼染料、及媒染染料之色澱及碳黑,其雖然嚴格為無機,但其分散性質之表現更為類似有機顏料。

於一個實施例中,本發明組成物中所存在之有機介質可為塑性材料,而於另一個實施例為有機液體。有機液體可為非極性或極性有機液體。關係有機液體的「極性」一詞,表示可形成中等鍵結或強力鍵結之有機液體,說明於文章名稱「溶解之三度空間辦法」作者Crowley等人,塗料技術期刊,第38期,1966年,269頁。此等有機液體如前述文章之定義通常具有5個或更多個氫鍵數目。

有機液體可為多元醇,亦即有兩個或多個羥基之有機液體。於一個實施例中,多元醇類包括α-ω二醇類或α-ω二醇乙氧酸酯類。
於一個實施例中,非極性有機液體包括含脂肪族基、芳香族基之化合物或其混合物。非極性有機液體包括未經鹵化之芳香族烴類(例如甲苯及二甲苯)、鹵化芳香族烴類(例如氯苯、二氯苯、氯甲苯)、未經鹵化之脂肪族烴類(例如含6個或更多個碳原子之完全飽和或部分飽和之線性及分支脂肪族烴類)、鹵化脂肪族烴類(例如二氯甲烷、四氯化碳、氯仿、三氯乙烷)及天然非極性有機物(例如植物油、葵花籽油、油菜籽油、亞麻籽油、萜烯類及糖苷類)。
於一個實施例中,以總有機液體為基準,該有機液體包含至少0.1%重量比或1%重量比或以上之極性有機液體。有機液體視需要可進一步包含水。於一個實施例中,該有機液體可不含水。
熱固性樹脂可包括當經加熱、經催化、或接受紫外光、雷射光、紅外光、陽離子、電子束、或微波照射時進行化學反應而變成相對不可熔性。熱固性樹脂之典型反應包括不飽和雙鍵之氧化、涉及環氧基/胺、環氧基/羰基、環氧基/羥基之反應、環氧基與路易士酸或路易士鹼、多異氰酸基/羥基、胺樹脂/羥基部分之反應、自由基反應或環氧樹脂與乙烯基醚之聚丙烯酸酯、陽離子性聚合反應及矽烷醇之縮合反應。不飽和樹脂之實例包括經由一種或多種二酸或酐與一種或多種二醇反應所製成之聚酯樹脂。此等樹脂常係呈與反應性單體諸如苯乙烯或乙烯基甲苯之混合物提供,且經常稱作為鄰苯二甲酸系樹脂及間苯二甲酸系樹脂。額外實例包括使用二環戊二烯(DCPD)作為聚酯鏈之共同反應物之樹脂。額外實例也包括雙酚A二縮水甘油醚與不飽和羧酸類諸如甲基丙烯酸之反應產物,隨後呈於苯乙烯之溶液供應,俗稱作乙烯基酯樹脂。
具有羥基官能度之聚合物(俗稱為多元醇類)廣泛用於熱固性系統來與胺樹脂或多異氰酸酯交聯。多元醇類包括丙烯酸系多元醇類、醇酸樹脂多元醇類、聚酯多元醇類、聚醚多元醇類及聚胺甲酸酯多元醇類。典型胺基樹脂包括三聚氰胺甲醛樹脂、苯并胍胺甲醛樹脂、脲甲醛樹脂及甘脲甲醛樹脂。多異氰酸酯為有兩個或多個異氰酸基之樹脂包括單元體脂肪族二異氰酸酯類、單元體芳香族二異氰酸酯類、及其混合物。典型脂肪族二異氰酸酯類包括六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、異佛爾酮二異氰酸酯、及氫化二苯甲烷二異氰酸酯。典型芳香族異氰酸酯類包括甲苯二異氰酸酯及聯苯甲烷二異氰酸酯。
於一個實施例中,熱固性複合物或交聯或融合熱固性塑料、於苯乙烯之聚酯樹脂、聚酯樹脂與聚乙酸乙烯酯之混合物或聚酯樹脂與聚苯乙烯聚合物之混合物。
若有所需,本發明組成物可含有其它成分,例如本發明化合物以外之分散劑、防霧劑、孕核劑、發泡劑、阻燃劑、加工助劑、界面活性劑、塑化劑、熱安定劑、可相容化劑、紫外光吸收劑、抗氧化劑、芳香劑、脫模助劑、消靜電劑、抗微生物劑、殺生物劑、偶合劑、潤滑劑(外部及內部)、耐衝擊改性劑、滑脫劑、空氣釋放劑及黏度抑制劑。
組成物可含有自1%至95%重量之顆粒狀固體,精確數量取決於固體之本質,且該數量取決於固體之本質及固體與極性有機液體之相對密度。舉例言之,其中固體為有機材料諸如有機顏料之組成物於一個實施例中含有自15%至60%重量比之固體,而於一個實施例中,其中該固體可能為無機材料諸如無機顏料、填充劑或增量劑之組成物含有基於組成物總重為基準自40%至90%重量比固體。
本發明組成物可經由已知用於製備分散液之任一種習知方法製備。如此顆粒狀固體、熱固性複合物或已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑料及式(1)化合物可以任一種順序混合,然後該混合物接受機械處理例如藉高速混合、球磨、籃磨、珠磨、礫磨、砂磨、研磨機碾磨、二輥磨或三輥磨、塑性研磨來將固體顆粒縮小至適當尺寸直至形成分散液。另外,顆粒狀固體可經處理來獨立或與下述混合物縮小其顆粒尺寸:(i)熱固性複合物或已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑料,或(ii)式(1)化合物,然後添加其它成分,及混合物經攪動來提供該組成物。組成物之製法係經碾磨或研磨乾顆粒狀固體與式(1)化合物及然後添加液體介質。另外,經由於顏料沖洗過程將該固體與式(1)化合物與液體介質混合可製造該組成物。
於一個實施例中,本發明組成物適合為液體分散液。於一個實施例中,此等分散液組成物包含:(a)0.5份至40份顆粒狀固體,(b)0.5份至30份式(1)化合物,及(c)30份至99份有機介質或水性介質其中全部相對份數皆為以重量計及數量(a)+(b)+(c)=100。
若組成物要求包括顆粒狀固體及呈乾燥形式之式(1)化合物,則該有機液體典型為揮發性,因此藉由單純分離手段諸如氣化可方便將有機液體自該顆粒狀固體分離。於一個實施例中,該組成物包括該有機液體。
若乾組成物主要係由式(1)化合物與顆粒狀固體組成,則以顆粒狀固體重量為基準,其典型含有至少0.2%、至少0.5%或至少1.0%式(1)化合物。於一個實施例中,以顆粒狀固體重量為基準,該乾燥組成物含有不大於100%,不大於50%,不大於20%或不大於10%式(1)化合物。
如前文揭示,本發明組成物適合用於製備分散液,其中該顆粒狀固體可於式(1)化合物及其鹽之存在下而研磨入有機液體。
於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種分散液包含顆粒狀固體、熱固性複合物或已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑料及式(1)化合物及其鹽。
典型地,以分散液總重為基準,該分散液含有自20%至90%重量比顆粒狀固體。於一個實施例中,顆粒狀固體可占分散液之不低於10%或不低於20%重量比。
分散液中式(1)化合物之數量係取決於顆粒狀固體之數量,但典型係占該分散液自0.5%至5%重量比。
自本發明組成物製備之分散液適合用於水性、非水性或無溶劑調配物,其中採用可能量固化系統(紫外光、雷射光、紅外線、陽離子、電子束、微波)含有單體寡聚物等或其組合存在於該調配物。特別適合用於塗覆物諸如塗料及塑料。適當實例包括其用於下列用途:低、中及高固體塗料、一般工業塗料包括烤乾二組分式及金屬塗覆塗料(諸如線圈塗覆物及罐塗覆物)、粉末塗覆物、紫外光可固化塗覆物、木材清漆;多元醇及塑溶膠分散液;陶瓷製程特別為帶材鑄塑、凝膠鑄塑、摻和刮刀、擠塑及射出模製型方法,額外實例係用於等壓壓製用之乾陶瓷粉末之製備;複合物諸如全張片材模製複合物及散裝材料模製化合物、樹脂轉注模製、擠拉模製、手工積層法及噴灑積層法、匹配壓模模製;建材例如鑄塑樹脂、個人照護例如指甲塗覆物、防曬用品、黏著劑、塑膠材料及電子材料諸如顯示器包括OLED裝置、液晶顯示器及電泳顯示器中之彩色濾光片系統用之塗覆物配方、玻璃塗覆物包括光纖塗覆物、反射塗覆物或抗反射塗覆物、導電塗覆物及磁性塗覆物。其可用於顏料及填充劑之表面改性來改良用於前述應用之乾粉之分散性。塗覆材料之額外實例係列舉於Bodo Muller,Ulrich Poth,Lackformulierung und Lackrezeptur,Lehrbuch fr Ausbildung und Praxis,Vincentz Verlag,Hanover(2003)及P.G.Garrat,Strahlenhartung,Vincentz Verlag,Hanover(1996)。
於一個實施例中,本發明組成物進一步包括一種或多種額外已知之分散劑。
下列實例提供本發明之示例說明。此等實施例並非排它性且非意圖限制本發明之範圍。
比較例A(COMPA):類似美國專利案6,562,897揭示之磷酸化分散劑之分散劑,此處係使用己內酯及戊內酯而自分子量350之甲氧聚乙二醇製備該聚醚-聚酯鏈。
比較例B(COMPB):分散劑類似於US 6,051,627其中實例19所揭示之磷酸化分散劑,但係自分子量550之甲氧聚乙二醇及數目平均分子量175之聚丙二醇製備。
比較分散劑C(COMPC)為EP 164 817之實例4。
比較分散劑D(COMPD)為US 5,700,395之實例12。
實例1(EX1):聚乙二醇一甲醚(Mn 350,得自艾克福卡(ex Fluka),100份)及多聚磷酸(艾克福卡,22.7份)於烤爐內於70℃溫熱直到可傾注,然後進給至150毫升燒瓶。混合物設定為於氮氣氣氛下激烈攪拌,然後燒瓶浸沒於加熱至120℃之油浴。於此溫度持續攪拌6小時,獲得黃色黏稠液體。
實例2(EX2):聚乙二醇一甲醚(Mn 550,艾克福卡,100份)及多聚磷酸(艾克福卡,14.5份)於烤爐內於70℃溫熱直到可傾注,然後進給至150毫升燒瓶。混合物設定為於氮氣氣氛下激烈攪拌,然後燒瓶浸沒於加熱至120℃之油浴。於此溫度持續攪拌6小時,獲得黃色黏稠液體。

實例4(EX4):聚乙二醇一甲醚(Mn 1100,艾克福卡,100份)及多聚磷酸(艾克福卡,7.23份)於烤爐內於70℃溫熱直到可傾注,然後進給至150毫升燒瓶。混合物設定為於氮氣氣氛下激烈攪拌,然後燒瓶浸沒於加熱至120℃之油浴。於此溫度持續攪拌6小時,獲得白色蠟狀固體。
分散液之製備(DEX1至DEX4及DCOMPA至DCOMPB):經由基於下表所示組成(數量係以份數引用)經由製備熱固性複合物而製備一系列分散液。分散液DEX1至DEX4分別含有EX1至EX4之產物。同理,DCOMPA及DCOMPB分別含有COMPA及COMPB之產物。所製備之分散液為:

A-帕拉普列格H為帕拉普列格H880-01乃已改性聚乙酸乙烯酯低輪廓添加劑,由DSM樹脂供應。
B-帕拉普列格P為帕拉普列格P 18-03乃於苯乙烯之不飽和聚酯樹脂,由DSM供應。
C-米利卡OG為具有2.7微米中間粒徑之石灰石衍生之碳酸鈣填充劑,由歐雅(Omya)供應。
D-魯瓦妥MK 25為氧化鎂增稠劑,由雷曼及沃司(Lehmann and Voss)供應。
分散液之製備:前述分散液係藉後述程序製備。兩種帕拉普列格樹脂稱重入有不鏽鋼夾套之研磨容器。各試驗實例添加至樹脂混合物,三種組分於迪斯帕曼(Dispermat)F1高剪混合機於1500rpm混合30秒。混合速度升高至3000rpm及米利卡OG於1分鐘時間添加。於3000rpm又持續混合15分鐘,然後停止混合機。移出所得分散液之小量試樣用於初步黏度測量。添加魯瓦妥MK 25至研磨裝置及重新啟動於2000rpm混合2分鐘。停止混合機及將分散液轉移至儲存容器。經15分鐘、1小時、1日、2日及5日後測量儲存後之分散液之黏度。
各糊料試樣於德州儀器公司(TA Instruments) AR500經控制應力之流變儀於流量測量模式使用40毫米十字交叉不鏽鋼板測量。測量係於25℃進行。試樣以0.1秒-1至126.5秒-1之速率切變。所得黏度資料(Pa s)如下:
本發明試樣典型具有比DCOMPA及DCOMPB更低的黏度。如此指示該加工更容易或允許更高的填充劑負載量。
於氧化鎂增稠劑添加後,於布魯克斐(Brookfield)RV黏度計使用7號心軸及5rpm速度測量儲存黏度。典型地未達500,000毫泊黏度之試樣未通過測試。所得黏度資料(mP)如下:
測試所得資料指示本發明組成物具有比較所揭示之比較性分散劑更低的切變,如此具有充分增稠。
如上製備之分散劑調配入聚酯線圈塗覆塗料系統。使用後述配方及成分製備下述白色終塗料。
分散劑調配入聚酯線圈塗覆塗料系統。使用後文列舉之配方及成分製備下列白塗料。
索凡所100及DBE添加至125克玻璃瓶。然後分散劑連同烏拉勒聚酯樹脂及莫達流III添加。然後添加120克3毫米玻璃珠接著為堤純R960顏料。瓶經密封,混合物於史堪戴魯(Skandex lau)上研磨90分鐘。白色塗料通過400微米篩過篩去除玻璃珠且允許其冷卻至室溫。於博林(Bohlin)V88黏度計於20℃(單位為Pa s)上測量研磨基料黏度。添加額外量索凡所100(5份)至研磨基料。然後經由徹底混合上表之減速章節所揭示之材料而製備終產物塗料。終產物塗料使用自動K-塗覆機(席恩(Sheen))而未使用6K巴爾(K-Bar)(席恩)塗覆於勒尼塔(Leneta)黑及白垂伸金屬板而獲得60微米薄膜厚度。塗覆圖案於230℃固化45秒及然後允許其冷卻。
光澤及濁度測量值係於固化期之後使用畢嘉納(Byk-Gardner)光澤及濁度計測量。色度值及博格(Berger)白度係於馬克白(Macbeth)色彩眼圖上測量。所得結果為:
期望低黏度研磨基料來製造高光澤低濁度塗料且具有高白度值及不透明度。如此指示優異之分散性及與有機介質之良好可相容性。顯然根據本發明使用之分散劑比較先前技術之非本發明之比較性分散劑實例B具有較高光澤、較低濁度及相等白度值及黏度。當與先前技術之非本發明比較性分散劑C比較時,本發明分散劑具有較低黏度、較高光澤、較低濁度、及較高白度及不透明度結果。當比較先前技術非本發明之比較性分散劑實例D時,本發明分散劑具有較高光澤、較低濁度、遠較高之白度值及較高不透明度。
前述各文件係以引用方式併入此處。除非於實例或另行明白指示,否則於本發明中載明材料數量、反應條件、分子量、碳原子數等之數值數量須瞭解皆係以「約」一詞修飾。除非另行指示,否則此處所述化學品或組成物須解譯為商業級材料其可含有異構物、副產物、衍生物、及其它一般已知存在於商業級中之此等材料。但各種化學組分之存在量(任何溶劑或稀釋劑油除外)除非另行指示否則為習知於商品中之存在量。須瞭解此處列舉之上限及下限、範圍及比例極限皆可獨立組合。同理,本發明之各種元素之範圍及數量可連同任何其它元素之範圍或數量使用。
雖然已經就其較佳實施例說明本發明,但須瞭解研讀本說明書時其各項修改對熟諳技藝人士為顯然自明。因此須瞭解此處揭示之發明意圖涵蓋落入於隨附之申請專利範圍內之全部此等修改。
Claims (10)
- 一種組成物,包含顆粒狀固體、有機或水性介質、及具有衍生自式(1)化合物及其鹽類之頭基(head group)之化合物:[RO-(CH2CH2O)m]n-P(=O)(OH)3-n式(1)其中R可為C1-4烴基(hydrocarbyl)或氫羰基(hydrocarbonyl group);m可為4至40;及n可為1或2;其中該組成物係用於塗料或塑膠;其中該塑膠為熱固性樹脂或已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑膠。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之組成物,其中該於[ ]n內部之RO-(CH2CH2O)m基具有350至1700之數量平均分子量。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項之組成物,其中該化合物係以選自於占組成物自0.25wt%至35wt%之範圍存在。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之組成物,其中該式(1)化合物為單酯。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之組成物,其中R為甲基或乙基。
- 如申請專利範圍第1至5項中任一項之組成物,其中該顆粒狀固體為顏料或填充劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1至5項中任一項之組成物,其中該組成物為分散劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之組成物,其中該組成物包含顆粒狀固體,其或為(i)熱固性樹脂或為(ii)已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑膠;及式(1)化合物及其鹽:[RO-(CH2CH2O)m]n-P(=O)(OH)3-n式(1)其中R可為C1-4烴基或氫羰基;m可為4至40;及n可為1或2。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之組成物,其中該熱固性複合物或已交聯之或已融合之熱固性塑膠為聚酯樹脂、於苯乙烯之聚酯樹脂、聚酯樹脂與聚乙酸乙烯酯之混合物,或聚酯樹脂與聚苯乙烯聚合物之混合物。
- 一種如申請專利範圍第1項之組成物之用途,其係用於熱固性組成物作為分散劑,其中該化合物係以式(1)及其鹽表示:[RO-(CH2CH2O)m]n-P(=O)(OH)3-n式(1)其中R可為C1-4烴基或氫羰基;m可為4至40;及n可為1或2。
