Claims (23)

  1. 一種立體數位影像投影機,其包括:a)複數個光調變總成,每一光調變總成包括:至少一個固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一第一極化軸之照明;一極化旋轉器,其安置於該(等)固態光源之該極化照明之路徑中且可致動以可控地將該(等)固態光源之該極化軸旋轉至一第二極化軸;及一微機電空間光調變器,其位於該極化照明之路徑中且可通電以調變該極化照明從而自該第一極化狀態之照明形成一第一經調變光並自該第二極化狀態之照明形成一第二經調變光;b)一同步構件,其用於在時間上控制該極化旋轉以與該空間光調變器上之適當影像資料相匹配;及c)投影光學器件,其用於將該第一及第二經調變光導向至一顯示表面;其中兩個毗鄰光譜頻帶正交輻射固態光源係使用一極化光束分裂器來組合並接著由一選色延遲構件旋轉該兩個毗鄰光譜頻帶中一者之極化軸以與另一個光譜頻帶之極化軸相匹配。
  2. 如請求項1之投影機,其中該空間光調變器係一微鏡器件。
  3. 如請求項1之投影機,其中該極化旋轉器係一液晶器件。
  4. 如請求項1之投影機,其中該第一固態光源包括一雷射陣列。
  5. 一種立體數位影像投影機,其包括:a)複數個光調變總成,每一光調變總成包括:一第一固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一第一極化軸之照明;一第二固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一與該第一極化軸正交之第二極化軸之照明;一旋轉元件,其安置於來自第一及第二固態光源兩者之該極化照明之路徑中且可致動以可控地及交替地將來自該第一及第二固態光源之光沿一光軸導向成兩個在時間上交替之正交極化照明狀態;及一微機電空間光調變器,其位於該極化照明之路徑中且可通電以調變該極化照明從而自該第一極化軸之照明形成一第一經調變光並自該第二極化軸之照明形成一第二經調變光;b)一同步構件,其用於在時間上控制該極化旋轉以與該空間光調變器上之適當影像資料相匹配;及c)投影光學器件,其用於將該第一及第二經調變光導向至一顯示表面。
  6. 如請求項5之投影機,其中該第一固態光源包括一雷射陣列。
  7. 如請求項5之投影機,其中該空間光調變器係一微鏡器件。
  8. 如請求項5之投影機,其中該旋轉元件係一具有至少一個反射段及一個透射段的分段式圓盤。
  9. 如請求項5之投影機,其中該旋轉元件被賦予減輕雷射散斑之性質。
  10. 一種立體數位影像投影機,其包括:a)複數個光調變總成,每一光調變總成包括:一第一固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一第一極化軸之照明;一第二固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一與該第一極化軸正交之第二極化軸之照明;一旋轉元件,其安置於來自第一及第二固態光源兩者之該極化照明之路徑中以交替地將來自一個固態光源之極化光遞送至照明區段;一延遲構件,其用於旋轉另一個正交極化固態光源以使其極化狀態匹配於遞送至該照明區段之該極化狀態;一重導向構件,其用於遞送此新匹配之極化光以組合於該照明區段處;一集光構件,其用於在不去極化之情況下混合該兩個固態光源之光;及一微機電空間光調變器,其位於該極化照明之路徑中且可通電以調變該極化照明從而自該第一極化軸之照明形成一第一經調變光並自該第二極化軸之照明形成一第二經調變光;b)一同步構件,其在時間上控制該極化旋轉以與該空 間光調變器上之適當影像資料相匹配;及c)投影光學器件,其用於將該第一及第二經調變光導向至一顯示表面。
  11. 如請求項10之投影機,其中該旋轉元件係一具有至少一個反射段及一個透射段的分段式圓盤。
  12. 如請求項10之投影機,其中該集光構件係由若干小透鏡陣列構成。
  13. 如請求項10之投影機,其中該旋轉元件被賦予減輕雷射散斑之性質。
  14. 如請求項10之投影機,其中該第一固態光源包括一雷射陣列。
  15. 一種立體數位影像投影機,其包括:a)複數個光調變總成,每一光調變總成包括:一第一固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一第一極化軸之照明;一第二固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一與該第一極化軸正交之第二極化軸之照明;一交替極化轉換構件,其用於交替地將該第一或第二固態光源旋轉至另一個源之匹配極化狀態;一遞送構件,其用於沿一較佳定向遞送自作為一單個照明源之兩個固態光源組合而成之單極化狀態光以使一空間光調變器上之極化變化最小化;及一空間光調變器,其位於該極化照明之路徑中且可通電以調變該極化照明從而自該第一極化軸之照明形成一 第一經調變光並自該第二極化軸之照明形成一第二經調變光;b)一同步構件,其在時間上控制該極化旋轉以與該空間光調變器上之適當影像資料相匹配;及c)投影光學器件,其用於將該第一及第二經調變光導向至一顯示表面。
  16. 如請求項15之投影機,其中該極化轉換構件係由一具有至少一個反射段及一個透射段之分段式旋轉圓盤與一位於該反射路徑或透射路徑中之二分之一波延遲器構成。
  17. 如請求項15之投影機,其中該光束遞送路徑包括至少一個小透鏡陣列。
  18. 如請求項15之投影機,其中該旋轉元件被賦予減輕雷射散斑之性質。
  19. 如請求項15之投影機,其中光係藉由選擇下列方法中之一者而組合於該遞送構件中:空間重疊、角度重疊、或空間重疊與角度重疊之一組合。
  20. 一種立體數位影像投影機,其包括:a)複數個光調變總成,每一光調變總成包括:至少一個固態光源,其可通電以提供具有一第一極化軸之照明;至少一個窄頻帶極化旋轉器,其安置於該(等)固態光源之該極化照明之路徑中且可控地將該(等)固態光源之該極化軸依序旋轉至一第二極化軸以使得影像資料被提供至每一調變器;及 一空間光調變器,其位於該極化照明之路徑中且可通電以調變該極化照明從而自該第一極化軸之照明形成一第一經調變光並自該第二極化軸之照明形成一第二經調變光;及b)投影光學器件,其用於將該第一及第二經調變光導向至一顯示表面;其中兩個毗鄰光譜頻帶正交輻射固態光源係使用一極化光束分裂器來組合並接著藉由一選色延遲構件來旋轉該兩個毗鄰光譜頻帶中一者之該極化軸以與另一個毗鄰光譜頻帶之該極化軸相匹配。
  21. 如請求項20之投影機,其中該空間光調變器係一微鏡器件。
  22. 如請求項20之投影機,其中該極化旋轉器係一液晶器件。
  23. 如請求項20之投影機,其中該第一固態光源包括一雷射陣列。
