Claims (3)
- 第1の偏光状態を有する偏光照射を提供するように励起可能な光源システムと、
前記偏光照射から第1及び第2の光ビームを交互に生成するビーム分割システムであって、前記第1の光ビームは第1の偏光状態を有して第1の光路に沿い、前記第2の光ビームは第2の偏光状態を有して第2の光路に沿い、前記第1の光を生成するときには前記第2の光は前記第2の光路に沿って照射されず、前記第2の光を生成するときには前記第1の光は前記第1の光路に沿って照射されない、ビーム分割システムと、
前記第1及び第2の光ビームを共通の光路に沿う合成光ビームに合成する偏光ビームコンバイナを備える合成システムと、
前記合成光ビームを、ステレオイメージデータと一致する方法で変調して交互に第1及び第2の変調イメージを形成する空間光変調器であって、前記第1変調イメージは前記合成光ビームが前記第1偏光状態のときに左眼イメージデータを用いて前記合成光ビームを変調することで形成され、前記第2変調イメージは前記合成光ビームが前記第2偏光状態のときに右眼イメージデータを用いて前記合成光ビームを変調することで形成される、空間光変調器と、
前記第1及び第2の変調イメージを投影するように構成された投影光学系と、
を備える、左眼イメージデータと右眼イメージデータを含むステレオイメージデータを投影するステレオデジタルイメージ投影システム。 - 前記ビーム分割システム及び前記偏光ビームコンバイナが薄膜プレートである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ビーム分割システムが前記第1の光ビームの経路に偏光回転子を備え、前記偏光回転子が、前記偏光ビームコンバイナからの出力時に前記第1及び第2の光ビームの光出力強度とのマッチング又は実質的なマッチングをつくりだすように位置されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
