Description

具殺菌作用之使用於過濾器、口罩等之片材
本發明係關於使用在用以淨化家庭或辦公大樓等室內之空氣的換氣設備之過濾器或口罩等所用的織物製、紙製片材或壁紙,或者為了栽培時防蟲等而覆蓋之水果的包裝以及其他用途所用之紙製片材。
習知之換氣設備係藉由交換外部空氣與室內空氣而淨化室內空氣者。因此,過濾器幾乎不被使用,於換氣設備中,僅有以除去外界氣體中所含之灰塵等為主要目的者被使用。又,習知之口罩中,幾乎無具殺菌作用者。又,室內所使用之壁紙等係以美觀要素為優先,考慮抗菌、殺菌作用者亦不多。此外,關於農業領域,尤其是水果等之包裝材,僅以防止水果表面之物理性損傷為目的,關於防止微生物繁殖、防止腐敗等對策幾乎未被採用。
特別是近年來,由於空氣中所存在之冠狀病毒、流行性感冒病毒之類的病原性病毒等所造成之病症增多,其對策逐漸變得必要。
另一方面,本案之發明人開發出用於水之淨化的複合薄膜,並以PCT/JP02/13239提出申請。該申請於其後已經國際公開(專利文獻1)。如該說明書中記載,離子交換樹脂對病毒類或病原性細菌類之去活性化有其效果。
又,不織布可將霍亂弧菌、痢疾桿菌、炭疽菌等細菌類吸附除去。
上述內容中,關於離子交換樹脂對細菌類之去活性化,係記載於下述非專利文獻1,關於不織布對細菌類之吸附性,係記載於非專利文獻2。

因此可考慮,藉由使用離子交換樹脂或不織布,或者是利用該等之組合,可能實現空氣中之細菌類的除去、非活性化。故,藉由於建築物之換氣設備中配置該等,可將室內空氣淨化,尤其可預防細菌類、病毒類所造成之感染。
然而,離子交換樹脂一般為粒子狀,在將其使用作為過濾器之情況,裝入容器內等之步驟難以簡單化,且操作不便。尤其難以製成利用作成紙或布之平面狀,不管在何處均能簡單安裝、淨化作用降低時可簡單交換之構造。
又,僅以不織布雖可除去灰塵,但難以充分獲得將細菌類及病毒類非活性化且預防感染之效果。
本發明之發明人遂開發一種可將空氣中之細菌類、病毒等予以非活性化之過濾器,其係為布狀的簡單形狀,於例如換氣設備中的配置或交換均容易,並將此發明申請為日本專利特願2003-195591。
該申請案之過濾器係將硫酸鹽型或磺酸鹽型界面活性劑等屬於對細菌或病毒等具有將其非活性化之作用的物質,製成1~10%水溶液羧酸改質聚乙烯醇(以下簡記為CA-PVA)之糊劑,將不織布浸漬於該糊劑之1~10%水溶液後,將該不織布加熱,以固定糊劑者。
該申請案之殺菌用過濾器係使用如上之離子交換樹脂,具有殺菌效果,但若不使用較多的離子交換樹脂,則無法得到充分的殺菌效果。
為此,必須在不織布上將大量的離子交換樹脂予以塗佈並固定化,又,由於離子交換樹脂為粒狀或小粒(granule)狀,必須在將不織布浸漬於糊劑後,將離子交換樹脂塗佈,並進一步加熱,以將離子交換樹脂固定於不織布,有耗費過濾器之製成時間或成本之問題。
此外,由於在不織布上塗佈大量的離子交換樹脂,空氣的流通不足,在使用於利用換氣部分之殺菌用過濾器或口罩方面,期待若干改良。
又,上述之習知過濾器等係將離子交換樹脂固定化在不織布上,因此於成本面亦有問題。
例如,在將過濾器使用於換氣設備之情況,由於其殺菌作用等之降低,必須進行交換。故,希望儘可能的低成本。因此,使紙製片材具有抗菌、殺菌功能亦受到期待。此外,口罩多半使用紙製之拋棄式口罩。因而極為希望實現屬於此種紙製口罩,且具有抗菌、殺菌作用之口罩。
由該等理由,極為希望實現屬於紙製片材,且具有抗菌、殺菌作用者。
又,若實現具有抗菌、殺菌作用之紙製片材,便亦可利用於上述過濾器或口罩以外之多種用途。例如,可作為壁紙等用於室內之紙類或水果之包裝紙而使用,藉此可獲得各種效果。
本發明提供一種織物(織物製片材),其係使用對細菌或病毒等微生物等之吸附作用強,且其除去作用強、可無害化之物質,因此僅需少量塗佈於織物的素材纖維上,便可得到充分之殺菌作用,且由於充分保持透氣性,最適合使用於換氣設備之過濾器或口罩。
又,除了使用作為上述之過濾器或口罩,本發明亦提供一種紙製片材,其可作為用以保持水果新鮮度及味道之具有保濕甚至抗菌、殺菌作用之包裝紙使用。
本發明之纖維(織物製片材)係使用將具有磺酸根或羧酸根、硫酸根之物質予以共聚合或摻合而成之纖維素材者,其特徵為,於織物的表面塗佈氧化鈦。
作為該本發明之織物,纖維素材係以聚酯最佳,亦即,作為本發明之織物,以經導入磺酸之聚酯作為素材,並於該織物上塗佈氧化鈦之織物為佳。
然,作為素材,只要含聚酯者即可,例如亦可為以尼龍與聚酯之混紡纖維或棉與聚酯之混紡纖維作為素材者。亦即,屬於使用含經導入磺酸根之上述聚酯之纖維素材的織物,且對其使用氧化鈦之織物亦具有充分之殺菌作用,便可得到本發明目的之過濾器或口罩用織物。
該本發明之紙製片材可藉由將具有磺酸根或羧酸根之單體經共聚合而成之聚乙烯醇的水溶液作為糊劑含浸,與織物製片材同樣地塗佈並附著氧化鈦。
此外,作為塗佈於本發明之織物的氧化鈦,以銳鈦礦型氧化鈦為最佳。
又,取代上述氧化鈦,使用於400℃下燒結之氧化鋁或於1000℃下燒結之氧化鋁,亦可得到一定的殺菌效果。又,金紅石型氧化鈦、非晶型氧化鈦等亦具有一定的殺菌作用,可使用於本發明之織物。
經由將以上之本發明的各種織物以可見光照射,可更為增加殺菌效果。
因此,作為本發明之織物,若對上述織物照射可見光,則效果得以增大。
同樣地,本發明之紙製片材亦可經由以可見光照射,使殺菌效果增大。
以上所述之本發明之織物製或紙製片材,由後述之實驗結果可明白,係屬於對微生物等之吸附作用高,經吸附之微生物的不活化度高之織物、紙。
亦即,本發明之最重要處在於,根據對於細菌類或病毒類之吸附行為的模擬方法,發現極為有趣之現象,爰使其得以實現。
眾所周知,細菌類之表面係以醣脂質與蛋白質構成。
作為纖維之細菌類或病毒之吸附能的評估模型,由於高分子量之醣脂質對水呈難溶性,而有僅能在低濃度區域評估之困難點,因此選擇化學構造明確且水溶性之無醣鏈的蛋白素(牛血清蛋白,分子量:67,000)。
如此,使用蛋白素進行檢討之結果,本發明之織物可得到得以推定對於微生物之不活性化等殺菌作用之數據,可知其目的得以達成。
又,對於本發明之紙亦可得到與織物同樣之結果,得以達成本發明之目的。
本發明之織物或紙(織物製片材、紙製片材)所具有之效果為,對於細菌、病毒等微生物之吸附作用強,且具有對已吸附之微生物的強力殺菌作用。
如上述,本發明之最佳織物係使用以經導入磺酸之聚酯作為主體之纖維素材的織物,為塗佈氧化鈦等,並進一步經自然光等可見光照射者,例如經由使用作為換氣裝置等之過濾器,具有吸附、除去空氣中所含微生物之作用。
又,在以紙取代織物作為素材之情況,難以對紙素材導入磺酸根或羧酸根。
因此,本發明之紙製片材係如前所述,以使具有磺酸根或羧酸根之單體共聚合而成之聚乙烯醇作為糊劑,經含浸並固定氧化鈦而製成。
其次,針對本發明之織物的上述作用,根據使用蛋白素進行之實驗予以說明。
首先,關於實驗使用蛋白素進行之事項予以詳細說明。
本發明之發明人根據截至目前為止進行血液中病毒或病因物質之吸附除去劑的檢討時之發現,進行器材的設計。亦即,發現:對於B型肝炎抗原及後天免疫缺乏症候群病毒,陽離子交換樹脂(活性點:磺酸)及二氧化矽/氧化鋁具有高吸附活性,而在杉樹花粉症抗原之不活性化方面,磺酸改質聚酯係有效。
微生物之表面係以蛋白質、脂質、醣質所構成,而該等中具有極性且分子量最大之物質係蛋白質。
因此,選擇肌紅蛋白(分子量:14,000)、卵白蛋白(分子量:33,000)、蛋白素(分子量:67,000)作為病因物質之微生物模型。該等之中,肌紅蛋白為褐色,水溶液亦受到著色,無法應用高敏感度之紫外部吸收光譜法。因此,考慮儘可能高分子量者之分子之絡合較強,而為了進行織物或吸附劑對於微生物之表面蛋白質之影響的模擬,以已知構成其之胺基酸的組成等物性之蛋白素較適當,選擇以此當作病因物質之模型。
基於以上理由,本發明之織物係以下述實驗結果進行開發,因此,首先敘述實驗方法及其結果。
(A)使用於實驗之織物及模型物質(吸附劑)
使用於此實驗之織物係於下述(甲)所示之織物中,吸附包含上述先前申請案中所使用之物質的(乙)所示之吸附劑。
(甲)a.聚酯(標準布);b.棉(標準布);c.尼龍(標準布);d.聚酯(KURARAY製之聚酯,導入2.5莫耳%磺酸基);e.市售之紙,各裁斷為10mm×10mm之大小使用。
另外,上述KURARAY製聚酯係商品名SHINEUP之聚酯纖維,係於聚酯原液中混合氧化鈦而進行紡絲者。
(乙)a.陽離子交換樹脂(SO3 H型);b.氧化鋁(於400℃下燒成);c.氧化鋁(於1000℃下燒成);d.氧化鈦(銳鈦礦型);e.氧化鈦(金紅石型);f.氧化鈦(非晶型)
(B)實驗方法
於蛋白素水溶液中浸漬織物或指定重量(1.0~100.0mg)之吸附劑,30分鐘後測量水溶液中蛋白素之濃度。
該等實驗中,在使用吸附劑進行實驗之情況,於測量蛋白素之濃度前,先將試料溶液穿透過拋棄式濾器(口徑0.45 μ m)後,於278nm之波長位置測量吸光度。由此測量所得之光譜之吸光度,以相對於原來濃度之變化率為參數,評估上述織物與吸附劑對於蛋白素之反應性。
即,將反應前之蛋白素水溶液之吸光度定為A0 、反應後之蛋白素水溶液之吸光度定為A,可如下求出蛋白素之反應率。
蛋白素之反應率=(A0 -A)/A0
此外,於石英製試管中,將3片裁斷為10mm×10mm之導入2.5莫耳%磺酸基的織物,浸漬於100.0ppm之蛋白素水溶液5.0ml中,以矽橡膠密栓,曝曬於陽光下1、2、3小時後,測量蛋白素之變化率。另外,將僅有蛋白素之水溶液曝曬3小時,作為對照試料。
又,取銳鈦礦型氧化鈦各1.0mg、2.0mg、3.0mg作為氧化鈦,浸漬於100ppm之蛋白素水溶液,密栓於石英製試管中,在423nm之單色光的燈管正下方照射1小時。此實驗中,亦對僅有蛋白素之5.0ml水溶液進行1小時之光照射,作為對照試驗。
根據表及圖1、2、3,說明以上之實驗結果。
首先,表1中顯示各種纖維素材之蛋白素變化率,(A)為1片素材之情況,(B)為3片之情況。
又,下列表2顯示以陽光照射5片聚酯時,照射時間各為0、1、2、3小時之變化率。
又,下列表3顯示作為習知例之陽離子交換樹脂的蛋白素變化率。
又,以下表4顯示各以400℃燒結及1000℃燒結之氧化鋁的蛋白素變化率。
又,下列表5係銳鈦礦型氧化鈦之蛋白素變化率,(A)為照射可見光之情況,(B)為未照射可見光之情況。
此外,下述表6係金紅石型氧化鈦(A)及非晶型氧化鈦(B)之蛋白素變化率。
又,圖1、2顯示聚酯與混入銳鈦礦型氧化鈦之聚酯及銳鈦礦型氧化鈦之光觸媒效果,圖3顯示氧化鈦之蛋白素吸收率。
如該等圖所示,經磺酸改質且進一步混入氧化鈦之聚酯,對於蛋白素雖為活性,但僅由聚酯、棉或尼龍構成之織物均屬於不活性。
又,吸附劑之蛋白素的除去活性(變化率)係如圖3所示,銳鈦礦型氧化鈦為最高活性者,金紅石型氧化鈦之活性為銳鈦礦型氧化鈦之1/20左右,非晶型(非晶系)氧化鈦之活性亦為銳鈦礦型氧化鈦之約1/2。
又,如表3所示,陽離子交換樹脂(磺酸型)之蛋白素變化率並不高。
又,如其後之表4所示,相較於陽離子交換樹脂,氧化鋁之蛋白素變化率大,於400℃下燒成之試料(r型,酸性)與1000℃下燒成之試料(α型,中性)中,前者略屬高活性。
此外,如表5所示,於對銳鈦礦型氧化鈦照射可見光(423nm之單色光)之情況,可看到蛋白素之除去活性大幅上升。又,其紫外線吸收光譜亦大幅變化,原來之蛋白素水溶液光譜中的最大吸收位置275~278nm處之吸收變得微弱,在250nm、320nm附近,出現如圖2般之寬廣寬度吸收。
又,由光譜以高敏感度解析蛋白素之行為時,最佳濃度是重要的條件,將其定為100ppm。
其次,作為如表1所示之織物的蛋白素除去能力,3種標準織物之蛋白素吸附除去能力係棉為2%、尼龍為8%,為2%~8%左右之低值。又,即使將該等織物各增加為3片,蛋白素之吸附除去能力亦無法提高。
又,使用市售的紙,以此進行同樣測量之結果係示於表1之e。
另一方面,以磺酸改質聚酯作為素材之織物,即使只有1片,蛋白素吸附除去率為12%,3片為34%,約為1片之情況的3倍。
又,磺酸改質聚酯纖維係被視為具有光除臭能力。
在此,將蛋白素水溶液與5片具有除臭能力之織物,放入石英製試管並密栓,以自然光照射1、2、3小時後,如表2所示,蛋白素變化率上升約30%左右。
此現象之原因為混入纖維之氧化鈦的光觸媒作用,亦可考慮為對於該纖維之蛋白素呈主要活性的共聚合磺酸基所造成。
其次,針對形成本發明之織物的方法,亦即氧化鈦對於基布之載持方法,進行敘述。
以相對於基布重量成為0.05~2.00重量%之方式,使粒徑40~100網目(mesh)、較佳為60~80網目之銳鈦礦氧化鈦懸浮於陽離子改質型聚乙烯醇、聚丙烯酸之1重量%水溶液中,將基布浸漬於此後,於室溫下乾燥。在基布為聚酯或尼龍之類的屬拒水性之情況,藉由微量添加磺酸型之界面活性劑,可使操作變得容易。作為基布之材質,可為天然纖維、合成纖維之任一種,但為了有效地阻斷浮游於空氣中之微小粒子到達人類的氣管,儘可能以織孔緻密的布,例如眼鏡鏡片之擦拭用的極細絲之織物最為適當。
又,氧化鈦之載持法亦可於基布表面利用刷毛等塗佈。
又,除了銳鈦礦型氧化鈦,金紅石型氧化鈦或γ型氧化鋁亦可用同樣的方法載持於基布上。
又,本發明之紙製片材的製法如下。
將使具有磺酸根或羧酸根之單體共聚合而成之聚乙烯醇的水溶液,使用作為糊劑。將該糊劑含浸於適當的紙,對此藉由塗佈氧化鈦,使氧化鈦固定化於紙上,可藉以製造本發明之紙製片材。
同樣地,於織物中含浸上述糊劑,使氧化鈦固定化於此,可藉以製造本發明之織物製片材。
使用於該等本發明之織物製、紙製片材的氧化鈦等吸附劑,如上述實驗結果所示般,具有抗菌作用、殺菌作用。
又,由以上實驗結果可知,本發明之織物製片材、紙製片材均具有抗菌作用、殺菌作用,因此,藉由使用作為換氣設備之過濾器或口罩,極為有效。
此外,本發明之紙製片材,藉由使用於壁紙等,可發揮室內殺菌之效果。又,本發明之紙製片材可使用作為水果等之包裝紙,藉此,可保持水果之濕氣等,同時藉由外部之病毒或細菌等微生物之除去或不活性化,可防止水果受該等微生物之影響。此情況,藉由使塗佈固定有氧化鈦等吸附劑之面朝向於水果,可直接防止水果表面受上述微生物之影響。
此外,藉由具備將本發明之紙製片材著色等所產生的阻斷可見光之機能,尤其可使其具有阻斷400nm~500nm之光的機能,藉此,可防止水果之變色。
(產業上之可利用性)
本發明之織物,藉由屬於基材之纖維素材與塗佈於布之氧化鈦等吸附劑,可進行細菌、病毒等微生物之吸附及不活性化,亦即可殺菌、無害化。又,吸附劑對微生物之不活性化能力大,少量之吸附劑即足夠,使本發明之織物具有充分的透氣性。
因此,可利用於換氣設備等之過濾器或口罩等。
又,由於本發明之紙製片材亦具有抗菌作用等,同樣地可利用於過濾器或口罩等。此外,藉由將本發明之紙製片材使用作為壁紙等於室內使用之紙製品,可得到室內之空氣淨化效果,又,亦可利用於栽培時之防蟲等所覆蓋之水果等之包裝紙等其他用途,藉此,可長期保有水果等之品質。
圖1顯示相對於KURARAY製聚酯重量之蛋白素反應率的變化圖。
圖2為氧化鈦之紫外線吸收光譜。
圖3顯示相對於氧化鈦重量之蛋白素的吸收率。

Claims (2)

  1. 一種織物製片材,係含浸使具有磺酸根或羧酸根之單體共聚合而成之聚乙烯醇的水溶液作為糊劑,並將氧化鈦固定化。
  2. 一種紙製片材,係含浸使具有磺酸根或羧酸根之單體共聚合而成之聚乙烯醇的水溶液作為糊劑,並將氧化鈦固定化。
