Description

自動工具收容機構
本發明係關於一種裝備有一工具倉以收容一較大數量之工具及罐的自動工具收容機構。
多數機械工具(尤其係加工中心)裝備有一自動工具交換機構,且其近來需要一較大數量的工具並具有不止一個的工具倉以收容該等增加的工具。各個工具倉包含一較大數量的罐,該等罐由鏈條連接且該等罐之各者具有種種工具。
已知一種自動工具交換裝置,如日本專利特許公開申請案第2003-291046號及第2008-155343號所揭示。其由一固持較大數量之工具及罐的工具倉、用於從該工具倉取出一工具(固持於一特定罐中)並將其運輸至一等待位置的構件以及一用未使用工具(其在等待位置等待)交換使用工具(其被附接至主軸)的工具交換臂組成。
該習知自動工具交換裝置經如此設計以便從配置於該工具倉中的工具中取出一選定工具。此動作藉由用爪由其V形凸緣抓取該工具而完成。被取出該工具之罐留在該工具倉中,且只有該工具從該工具倉被運輸至該等待位置。
根據該習知方法,工具運輸係藉由將一工具從該罐中分離並用爪由其V形凸緣抓取該工具而完成。此方法之缺點在於一較重或較長的切割工具在運輸時易於傾斜,從而引起較長或較快運輸的不穩定性。
此外,該等爪需要較高的剛性以便藉由其V形凸緣穩固地抓取該工具。
本發明之一目的係提供一種自動工具收容機構,即使在較重或較長之切割工具的情況下其亦可確保穩定地工具運輸而不產生工具傾斜。
根據本發明之一模式,一種自動工具收容機構包括:至少一個固持數個罐的工具倉,該等罐之各者都具有工具;運輸構件,其係用於在靠近該工具倉之位置與靠近該主軸之等待位置之間逐個運輸具有工具之罐;以及一工具交換臂,其係用於從於該等待位置等待之罐中取出一未使用工具並將其附接至該主軸且從該主軸移除一已使用工具並將其放置於該罐中。
較佳的係該運輸構件具有:一安裝於該工具倉側位置與靠近該主軸之等待位置之間的引導件;及用於沿著該引導件移動具有工具之罐的罐移動構件。
較佳的係該引導件具有:一靠近該工具倉的第一引導部;以及一在該第一引導部與該等待位置之間引導安裝有工具之罐的第二引導部。
此外,較佳的係該罐移動構件具有:一用於在該第一引導部及該工具倉之間移動安裝有工具之罐的液壓缸;以及一用於移動該安裝有工具之罐的滾珠螺桿及一伺服馬達。
較佳的係該罐移動構件進一步具有一用於在該第一引導部與該第二引導部之間移動該安裝有工具之罐的罐移動臂。
此外,較佳的係複數個工具倉沿著用於該罐移動臂的引導件並排配置,且具有一用於在用於該罐移動臂之引導件上驅動該罐移動臂的構件,使得其在一個選定工具倉停止該罐移動臂並在該工具倉與該第一引導部之間移動該安裝有工具之罐,且其中容置於該等工具倉中之罐的總數為幾百個。
較佳的係該罐移動臂利用皮帶之幫助而沿著用於該罐移動臂之引導件運行,並具有用於抓取該罐之爪以及用於抓取該工具的爪。

該罐(亦被稱作工具罐)可共用於所有該等工具(亦被稱作工具固持器)。
在圖1及圖2所顯示的該等實施例中,該第一工具倉10收容編號為1到50的該等工具12及該罐14。(圖1及2僅顯示50個工具中的一個工具。)該第二工具倉16收容編號為51到100的該等工具18及該罐14。(圖1及圖2僅顯示該等50個工具中的一個工具。)圖1及圖2僅顯示該等第一及第二工具倉。

其經由該等兩個在該自動工具收容機構之兩側延伸的皮帶73及75被運行的驅動部77(其較佳的係含有一減速器及一伺服馬達)沿著用於該罐移動臂的兩個引導件61水平地移動至所選擇之該工具倉的位置。
該第一引導部51藉由用於該罐移動臂的兩個引導件61以 及該罐移動臂22如需求地定位於縱向及橫向中。
此參考圖6解釋。
在許多收容於該第一工具倉10中的工具中,編號為1的工具12被該控制裝置(未顯示)選擇。編號為1的工具12及用於其之罐14一同被安裝於該工具倉10之罐入口及出口的液壓缸55推出該第一工具倉10。其沿著該第一引導件51向右轉移(圖6)。此時,該罐14藉由罐鎖定汽缸57之動作被該罐固持部59固持直到編號為1的工具12及用於其之該罐14到達該罐移動臂22之下的位置。
然後,該罐移動臂22被降低。編號為1之工具12的V形凸緣部被該爪22a抓取且該罐14之兩個部分被該等爪22b及22c抓取。
元件標號103指示用該等鉗口22a、22b及22c鎖定並固持該工具12及罐14的罐鎖定汽缸。
當該罐鎖定汽缸103啟動(處於其鎖定狀態),該罐移動臂22被升起且編號為1的工具12及罐14被一同移動至該第二引導部52之入口。
在該第二引導部52之入口,該罐固持部65藉由該罐鎖定汽缸105之動作固持該罐14。當罐14被固持,包含於其中的罐14及工具12被該第二驅動構件101轉移至該等待位置100。
在編號為1的未使用工具12及該罐14到達該等待位置100之後,該工具交換臂28被啟動。該等成對的固持部28a及28b轉動以便用編號為1的未使用工具12交換附接至該主軸30之編號為51的已使用工具18。換言之,其從該罐14卸離編號為1的工具12並從該主軸30移除編號為51的工具18,然後其將該等工具轉動180°並將編號為1的工具12附接至該主軸30並將編號為51的工具18放置於該罐18中。
編號為51的已使用工具18及該罐14沿著該引導件轉移至指定之工具倉,如圖2所示。此時,該等罐鎖定汽缸103及105、該罐移動臂22、該等固持部59及65、該液壓缸55及其他係以與該罐14被傳輸至該等待位置100之順序相反的順序啟動。
根據上述實施例,該工具及該罐一同在該工具倉與該等待位置100之間移動,且該罐被支撐。

Claims (8)

  1. 一種自動工具收容機構,其包括:至少一個工具倉,其固持數個罐,該等罐之各者都具有工具;運輸構件,其用於在靠近該工具倉之位置與靠近主軸之等待位置之間逐個運輸具有工具之該罐;及一工具交換臂,其用於從於該等待位置等待之該罐中取出一未使用工具並將其附接至該主軸且從該主軸移除一已使用工具並將其放置於該罐中。
  2. 如請求項1的自動工具收容機構,其中該運輸構件具有:一引導件,其被安裝於該工具倉側位置與靠近該主軸之該等待位置之間;及罐移動構件,其用於沿著該引導件移動具有工具之該罐。
  3. 如請求項1或2的自動工具收容機構,其中該罐移動構件進一步具有一罐移動臂,該罐移動臂用於在該第一引導部及該第二引導部之間移動該安裝有工具之罐。
  4. 如請求項3的自動工具收容機構,在該自動工具收容機構中複數個工具倉沿著用於該罐移動臂的該引導件並排配置,且具有一在用於該罐移動臂之該引導件上驅動該罐移動臂的構件,使得其在一個選定工具倉停止該罐移動臂並在該工具倉與該第一引導部之間移動該安裝有工具之罐。
  5. 如請求項4的自動工具收容機構,在該自動工具收容機構中容置於該等工具倉中之罐的總數為幾百個。
  6. 如請求項4的自動工具收容機構,其中該罐移動臂利用皮帶之幫助而沿著用於該罐移動臂的該引導件運行。
  7. 如請求項4的自動工具收容機構,其中該罐移動臂具有用於抓取該罐的爪以及用於抓取該工具的爪。
  8. 如請求項6的自動工具收容機構,其中該罐移動臂具有用於抓取該罐的爪以及用於抓取該工具的爪。
