Description

彈性積層材及用以製造彈性積層材之方法 發明領域
本發明有關一用以製造一包含至少三層的彈性積層材之方法。本發明亦有關一包含一第一非彈性非織造物網膜、一第二非彈性非織造物網膜及一位於該第一及第二非織造物網膜間的彈性穿孔膜之可彈性拉伸積層材。根據本發明之彈性積層材特別適合用於諸如褲尿布、衛生褲、失禁褲、及類似物等可棄式褲物件中。此等物件係包含一配置於一褲型底座中之吸收性單元且以一對底褲的方式作穿戴。
發明背景
褲型吸收性物件係包括一褲型底座結構及一整合式吸收性核心組件。構造褲物件時之目的係在於使其盡可能接近地類似普通內褲。因此,諸如褲尿布、衛生褲及失禁褲等吸收性物件係設計成可舒適且貼切地配合於穿戴者。想要使物件能夠在臀部上被上下拉動以讓穿戴者或照護者容易移除一弄髒物件且以一新的乾淨物件作取代。基於這些理由,物件底座通常由一可彈性拉伸的材料製成,至少在預定施加至穿戴者臀部上之區域如此。尚且,想要使圍繞褲物件的吸收性部份之底座可滲透空氣及蒸氣,亦即令其可呼吸。一可呼吸性物件係防止濕氣留存在穿戴者皮膚上且比不可呼吸性物件更為舒適且較不暖熱。如果物件為柔軟、平坦且呈紡織物狀則亦為有利,故其不會磨刮穿戴者皮膚且其盡可能接近地類似普通內褲。
並且,吸收性褲物件務必可在一穿戴者臀部上被拉上而無斷裂。一種常見問題係在於穿戴者或照護者試圖獲得良好握持以將褲拉上或將褲移除時由於意外使手指經過材料而使褲損壞。
褲物件之一先前使用的彈性材料係為一積層材,其包含一嵌夾於兩層的非彈性非織造物之間的彈性膜。為了使積層材成為可彈性拉伸,其接受一活化處理。一三層、經活化積層材係揭露於國際專利申請案號WO 03/047488。經活化積層材係由增量拉伸兩非彈性布狀層之間的一彈性膜層來製造。藉由使積層材穿過互囓齒輪滾子之間來進行增量拉伸。藉由增量拉伸之彈性積層材的活化亦揭露於美國專利案號5,143,679、5,156,793、5,167,897、5,422,172、5,592,690、5,634,216、及5,861,074中。非彈性布狀層在活化製程期間係完全或部分地破裂或撕裂使得活化後之積層材的彈性主要由彈性膜層的彈性所控管。WO 03/047488的三層積層材中,非彈性層係完全地破裂故經活化積層材的彈性與彈性膜層的彈性實質地相同。
所揭露積層材具有優良的舒適性質且柔軟、可呼吸且具彈性。然而,已知積層材的一主要缺點係在於活化製程至少部分地破裂且破壞布狀層導致一經活化積層材具有減小的抗拉強度及抗穿刺性。當用來作為可棄式褲物件中的一底座組件時,材料在曝露於褲物件穿上或拉除所產生的力量時容易撕裂。對於常具有可能穿透及撕裂褲材料之長指甲的女性穿戴者或照護者此撕裂問題特別顯著。
因此,需要一使用於可棄式褲物件中之經改良的可彈性拉伸、紡織物狀積層材。並且,需要一用以製造此積層材之製程。
為此,本發明之一目的係提供一具有經改良的抗拉強度及抗穿刺性之可彈性拉伸紡織物狀積層材。本發明之另一目的係提供一用以製造一具有經改良的抗拉強度及抗穿刺性的可彈性拉伸紡織物狀積層材之方法。
發明概要
本發明提供一用以製造一包含至少三層的可彈性拉伸積層材之方法。該方法根據本發明包含以下步驟:a)製造一第一積層材,其包含一第一非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜及一彈性膜;b)藉由增量拉伸來活化第一積層材以使第一積層材成為可彈性拉伸;c)將經活化第一積層材在至少一方向中拉伸10-200%;及d)將經拉伸第一積層材積層至一第二非彈性非織造物網膜。
第一積層材可以任何適當方式製造,包括藉由以一彈性膜形成聚合物對於第一非織造物網膜作黏劑結合、熱結合及擠製塗覆。
第一積層材的拉伸量係被指定為拉伸方向中之積層材的初始、未拉伸延伸之百分比。範例中,一具有1m的第一未拉伸長度且被拉伸50%之積層材係具有1.5m的第二經拉伸長度。
根據本發明的一較佳實施例,以彈性塑料膜來擠製塗層纖維性非織造物網膜藉以製造第一積層材。
彈性膜較佳被穿孔藉以提供所製造積層材中之可呼吸性。當第一非織造物網膜藉由擠製塗覆結合至彈性膜時,可使經合併彈性層及非織造物網膜穿過一真空積層筒上方同時彈性層處於一融化或半融化狀態藉以作出穿孔步驟。此製程揭露於美國專利案號5,733,628中且導致彈性膜被形成為一三維開孔狀積層材層。
活化步驟包含增量拉伸第一積層材以使非彈性材料至少部分地破裂。可藉由具有互囓且藉此拉伸積層材之圓周式配置的齒之經加熱或未經加熱互囓齒輪滾子來進行活化。活化步驟可讓積層材隨後被拉伸而不被非彈性非織造物網膜可察覺地拘限。非彈性非織造物材料的破裂程度係決定所產生的積層材之最大可能伸長。如果非織造物材料在活化製程中完全地破裂,積層材將具有與彈性膜層實質地相同之最大伸長。
進行第二積層步驟之前,第一積層材在至少一方向中被拉伸10至200%其初始未拉伸延伸。藉由選擇及控制拉伸量,可以獲得終端積層材的一選定彈性。第一積層材在與第二非彈性非織造物網膜作積層之前係較佳拉伸35至180%其未拉伸延伸、更佳50至150%其未拉伸延伸且最佳70至120%其未拉伸延伸。
第二非彈性非織造物網膜可黏劑式結合至經活化第一積層材。
或者,第一非彈性非織造物網膜可熱性或超音波性結合至經活化第一積層材。熱性或超音波性結合可能為諸如點結合或線結合等離散結合的形式。藉由選擇稀疏分佈的點結合之一結合圖案,可以在所產生的積層材中達成比佔用經結合層之間介面的大比例部分之結合圖案更高的撓性。
積層材中的材料較佳係為行進網膜之形式。網膜可具有相等寬度以產生一可在可棄式褲物件的製程中隨後連續被導入且形成物件底座的彈性部分之三層積層材。或者,積層材可被切割及定形成用來產生一可棄式褲物件之分離元件。
或者,可以製造一其中第二非彈性非織造物網膜具有大於第一積層材寬度的寬度之積層材。此三層積層材係適合在製造可棄式褲物件時連續地導入製程中且可形成物件底座的彈性及非彈性部分。
並且,兩或更多個行進的第一積層材網膜可結合至第二非彈性非織造物網膜。不同的雙積層材網膜可能已經拉伸至一不同範圍及/或可由材料的不同組合製造。
第一及第二非彈性非織造物網膜可包含熱塑性纖維。用於纖維性非織造物網膜之適當聚合物的範例係為聚乙烯、聚酯、聚丙烯及其他聚烯烴均聚物及共聚物。一特別良好適合的非織造物網膜係包含身為聚丙烯及聚乙烯纖維的混攪物之熱塑性纖維。較佳的網膜係具有高含量的熱塑性纖維且含有至少50%熱塑性纖維及較佳至少80%熱塑性纖維。第二及/或非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜一般將被併入一可棄式褲物件的接合部及接縫中。因此,極想要使非織造物網膜可由熱量或超音波熔接製程作熔接。
特別用來作為第二非彈性非織造物網膜之一特別類型的非織造物網膜係為經皺製非織造物。經皺製非織造物一般比非皺製非織造物具有更大的可伸展性及撓性。藉由對於第二非彈性非織造物網膜選擇一經皺製非織造物,可以達成就柔軟性及順應性而言比起非皺製非織造物具有更好性質之最終三層積層材。經皺製非織造物係使三層積層材在伸長之後更容易收縮,故相較於具有一非皺製第二非織造物層之對應積層材而言增加了彈性。若想要,第一非彈性非織造物網膜亦可為一經皺製非織造物。
根據本發明用來製造三層積層材之彈性膜係可屬於任何適當的彈性聚合物,天然或合成性。已證實具有良好彈性及可呼吸性之一彈性膜的範例係為一具有聚乙烯-苯乙烯/乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯-聚乙烯(PE-SEBS-PE)的組成物之開孔狀三層彈性體性膜。
此上下文中,彈性材料係被界定為該材料在描述中所指定的彈性測試中受到30%伸長之後於放鬆後具有小於10%永久性伸長之材料。
非彈性材料係為不落入彈性材料的定義內之材料。為此,如此處所用的非彈性材料係為一可能可拉伸或不可拉伸之材料。在一可拉伸材料的案例中,材料如根據彈性測試所決定在受到一30%伸長之後於拉伸及放鬆後具有大於10%之一永久性伸長。
本發明亦提供一可彈性拉伸積層材,其包含一第一非彈性非織造物網膜、一第二非彈性非織造物網膜及一位於第一及第二非織造物網膜間之彈性穿孔狀膜。第一非彈性非織造物網膜及彈性穿孔狀膜係形成已藉由增量拉伸及部分撕裂非織造物網膜來提供彈性之一第一彈性積層材的部份。第一彈性積層材隨後已被結合至第二非織造物層同時處於一經拉伸狀態,藉此使積層材可彈性拉伸。
為此,根據本發明之三層積層材係包含一包括一非織造物網膜及一彈性穿孔狀膜之第一彈性雙積層材。彈性雙積層材係由一層纖維性材料及一彈性層所構成。選擇纖維性層以使其對於積層材提供一柔軟且布狀的感覺及外觀。適當材料的範例係為融噴網膜及紡黏材料、及皺製非織造物,如上述。此等材料亦適合被附接至雙積層材之第二非織造物網膜。然而,可使用任何柔軟、撓性及較佳可伸展性非織造物材料及非織造物積層材,諸如紡黏-融噴-紡黏積層材(SMS)、梳理及紡黏材料。
第一非織造物網膜的基重係適當地為10至80 g/m2 且較佳為13至50 g/m2 。纖維性材料中所使用之適當聚合物的範例係為聚乙烯、聚酯、聚丙烯及其他聚烯烴均聚物及共聚物。亦可使用譬如綿等天然纖維,只要其提供所想要的性質即可。聚合物的一混合物可有助於非織造物層的較高撓性,且藉此對於非織造物材料提供最大負載時之一較高伸長。聚乙烯及聚丙烯聚合物之一混合物已經證實可提供此方面的良好結果。亦可能採用不同聚合物的纖維之一混合物。
根據本發明的一實施例,彈性層係為一具有10至120g/m2 之間、較佳15至60g/m2 之間的基重之開孔狀彈性膜。膜可為任何適當的彈性聚合物,天然或合成。彈性膜之有用材料的部分範例係為低晶性聚乙烯、經金烯(metallocene)催化低晶性聚乙烯、乙烯醋酸乙烯共聚物(EVA)、聚胺基甲酸酯、聚異戊二烯、丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、苯乙烯嵌段共聚物諸如苯乙烯/異戊二烯/苯乙烯(SIS)、苯乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯(SBS)、或苯乙烯/乙烯-丁二烯/苯乙烯嵌段共聚物等。亦可使用這些聚合物的混攪物,以及其他修改性彈性體性或非彈性體性材料。一適當膜的範例係為一具有聚乙烯-苯乙烯/乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯-聚乙烯(PE-SEBS-PE)組成物之開孔狀三層彈性體性膜。
彈性雙積層材例如可藉由將非織造物網膜施加至膜的一側而根據WO 03/047488或EP 0 715 351揭露的任一方法被製造及活化。非織造物網膜及膜可被擠製結合或可藉由黏劑結合。雙積層材係被增量拉伸以活化膜層的彈性。可令增量拉伸到達非彈性非織造物網膜的峰值負載處之伸長以下之一點以保持非織造物網膜中的部分強度。或者,可進行拉伸以使非織造物完全地撕裂,如WO 03/047488所揭露。
經活化雙積層材根據本發明係進一步積層至一非彈性非織造物網膜。在雙積層材於至少一方向中被拉伸10至200%其初始未拉伸延伸、較佳35至180%其未拉伸延伸、更佳50至150%其未拉伸延伸且最佳70至120%其未拉伸延伸之同時進行此第二積層製程。
第二及/或第一非彈性非織造物網膜較佳係包含一高含量亦即至少50%且較佳至少80%之熱塑性聚合物纖維,諸如聚乙烯、聚丙烯及聚酯。本發明的一特別實施例中,第二及/或第一非彈性非織造物網膜係包含至少80%的聚丙烯纖維。
兩步驟積層製程係導致一三層積層材,其中在施加第一非織造物網膜之表面上具有一平坦面,且在施加第二非織造物網膜之相對表面上具有一略為聚集、縮攏狀面。用來作為一褲物件中的一可拉伸組件時,三層積層材可定向成使平坦面位於物件內側而不規則面朝外。利用此方式,積層材的皮膚接觸部份將對於穿戴者皮膚特別柔軟、平坦且不磨刮。然而,或者可以將積層材配置成使平坦面位於吸收性物件外側。利用此方式,獲得一具有與穿在吸收性物件上的任何衣物接觸之一平坦表面之吸收性物件。當物件為成人用衛生褲或失禁褲時,此實施例可能是有利方式。積層材的平坦表面可防止衣物摩擦性接合物件表面並降低褲及裙在鋪覆於褲物件的區域中呈凸脊之風險。並且,一平坦外表面將是美觀的且在吸收性物件穿在薄或緊身配合衣物下時較不明顯。
根據本發明之三層積層材係柔軟、具彈性且呈紡織物狀並比起先前已知的積層材具有顯著較高的抗拉強度及抗刺穿性。因此,當使用在一褲物件中時,三層積層材係顯著地降低在穿戴者臀部上往上或往下拉時意外破壞該褲之風險。

較佳實施例之詳細說明
第1圖示意地顯示根據本發明之一製造一可彈性拉伸三層積層材之方法。一第一非彈性非織造物網膜1係自一儲存輥2進給至一橡膠輥3與一金屬輥4之間的一第一結合輥隙中。一融化彈性膜形成聚合物6係經由一壓模7擠製至輥隙及第一非彈性非織造物網膜1中且彈性膜形成一在滾子9處被取下之第一積層材8。隨後使積層材穿過互囓齒輪滾子10、11之間使得第一積層材8受到增量拉伸藉以活化第一積層材8。存在有多種不同拉伸技術,如EP 0 714 351所述。依據互囓齒輪滾子的設計而定,可在機器方向(MD)中或在交叉機器方向(CD)中增量拉伸以對角地拉伸積層材。可藉由調整齒輪滾子上的互囓元件或齒之互囓深度來控制增量拉伸所造成之第一非織造物網膜的破裂量。增量拉伸係釋放或活化彈性膜的彈性並可容許兩層第一積層材8彈性地延伸。

經活化第一積層材8拉伸之後,積層材8的膜側14係塗覆或噴灑有黏劑且隨後連同一第二非彈性非織造物網膜18穿過兩結合滾子16、17之間的一第二結合輥隙。黏劑較佳為一熱塑性黏劑,但如果想要亦可使用其他類型的黏劑。
所產生的三層積層材19係可彈性拉伸且具有主要依據彈性膜彈性、增量拉伸步驟中第一非織造物網膜的撕裂程度及第一積層材8黏合至第一非彈性非織造物網膜18前的拉伸量而定之一選定彈性。然而,如上述,相對於撓性及可伸展性及第二積層步驟中所實行的結合量而言之第二非彈性非織造物網膜的性質亦確實會影響最終積層材的彈性。
第一結合輥隙中之金屬輥4較佳為一開孔狀吸取輥,藉以與膜6結合至第一非織造物網膜1之作用同時地達成經擠製彈性膜6的三維成形及開孔之作用。
可替代性地藉由熱性或超音波性結合來進行第二積層步驟。
第1圖為根據本發明之方法的高度示意性代表圖。然而,所有個別步驟皆為該技藝所熟知及描述。第1圖未顯示個別網膜的寬度。積層材材料可製成使所有網膜具有相同寬度或者CD延伸。或者,第二非織造物網膜可比彈性膜6及第一非織造物膜1具有一更大寬度且可在其一或兩側上延伸經過第一積層材。
第2圖所示的三層積層材19係包含一由一非彈性非織造物層1及一彈性膜所組成之第一雙積層材8。彈性膜為開孔狀且具有貫穿配置之多數個開孔。開孔係可為三維形成的開孔如WO 03/047488所揭露或可為經過膜之簡單的二維孔。積層材19進一步包括一第二非彈性非織造物層18,其藉由黏劑或藉由諸如施加熱量或超音波方式以熱結合被結合至第一積層材8。
三層積層材19具有位於第一非織造物層1的側上之一平坦面21及位於第二非織造物層18的側上之一不規則縮攏狀面22。這是由於第二非織造物層18已經結合至第一二層積層材8且二層積層材處於一彈性延伸狀態所致。三層積層材19係為柔軟、可下垂、具有一預定選定彈性且極為適合使用在不同種類的可棄式褲物件中。未經增量拉伸的第二非織造物層係提供積層材的強化、提供垂直於拉伸方向之較高抗拉強度、使積層材具有抗穿刺性、且可容許積層材受到穿上與脫下褲物件時所產生之拉力及拉伸力而無破裂或撕裂。
並且,藉由選擇具有熱塑性性質之非織造物材料,可以獲得一可易於藉由熱熔接技術併入一可棄式物件中之積層材。譬如,一其中將積層材定向成使第一非織造物層1位於物件內側上之物件中,如果第一非織造物層實質或完全由較佳為聚丙烯等熱塑性纖維製成將是有利的。第一非織造物層隨後可用來形成具有良好抗拉強度之側接合部。反之,如果將積層材定向成使第二非織造物層位於褲物件內側上,對於第二非織造物層選擇一熱塑性材料可能是對應有利的方式。因為側接合部中所使用的熱結合通常係穿透經熔接材料,積層材相對於第一及第二非織造物層之定向通常對於獲得一熱結合接合部而言並不重要,只要該等層的至少一者主要由熱塑性纖維製成或兩層的組合含有充分熱塑性材料藉以達成充分結合強度即可。
第3及4圖所示的褲尿布300係設計成可包圍一穿戴者軀體的下部份就像習知的內褲。第3圖中,尿布從內側顯示,亦即從當穿戴物件時面對穿戴者之側;且第4圖中,尿布從外側或衣物面對側顯示,其係為穿戴尿布時背離穿戴者之側。
尿布具有一前面板301、一背面板302及一延伸於前與背面板301、302之間且相較於前與背面板301、302具有一相對較窄寬度之胯面板303。前及背面板301、302配置成可覆蓋穿戴者臀部且延伸於腹部上方及穿戴者背部以包繞穿戴者軀幹的下部份。
尿布進一步包含一自胯面板303延伸至前面板301及背面板302中之核心區304。前及背面板301、302係形成延伸於尿布300的衣物面對側上且圍繞核心區304之一底座307的部份。底座307包含前面板301、背面板302及胯面板303及一固接至前及背面板之彈性腰帶309。前及背面板各者分別具有一腰邊緣、一胯邊緣及一對側邊緣。
為此,“面板”用語在此處用來代表尿布底座的一功能性部份,而“區”及“部分”用語則用來代表底座中之尿布的一特定特徵結構的區位或描述尿布的一特定部份相對於一使用者身體之預定定位。一面板可為一分離組件或底座的一整合部份。一區或部分可具有一完全或部分地覆蓋一或多個面板之延伸。
前及背面板藉由熱結合、超音波熔接、膠串或類似物沿著其側邊緣接合至彼此以形成側接縫308,如第4圖清楚地顯示。彈性腰帶309係由分別固接至前面板301及背面板302之一前部分及一背部分所組成。腰帶309的這些部分亦沿著側接縫308接合至彼此。藉由接合前及背面板301、302及腰帶309,褲尿布300設有一腰開口310及一對腳開口311。
第3圖顯示尿布處於一扁平狀態,其中在拉應力下附接至底座307之任何彈性組件皆以底座307的完全未拉張維度畫出。第4圖顯示褲尿布300,其呈現側接縫308已經形成且已讓經拉張彈性元件放鬆及收集底座材料以形成經彈性化腳及腰開口311、310時之情形。
根據本發明之一彈性積層材320係可覆蓋腰帶309的前及背部分之間的整體尿布,包括核心區304。然而,褲尿布300的胯面板303之一實質部份亦即至少50%且較佳至少75%最好係不含彈性積層材材料。
因此,一較佳身為非彈性材料諸如非彈性非織造物材料之胯材料312係配置於物件的核心區304中且重疊於彈性前及背面板301、302。胯材料312沿著其橫向邊緣313、314接合至前及背面板301、302。圖示實施例中,胯材料312以一重疊方式藉由胯接縫315接合至前及背面板301、302並形成胯面板303。可以任何適當方式作出接合,諸如藉由超音波熔接、黏劑性或類似方式。本發明的替代性實施例中,一外非織造物材料可連續地延伸於前及背面板301、302及胯面板303上方故在面板303、301、302之間不需要接縫。
圖示範例中,彈性腰帶309包含第一及第二薄層的實質非彈性非織造物材料,其藉由一或多個諸如彈性線或帶等長形彈性構件316被彈性化。第一及第二薄層係可自已經翻摺於自身上之單層的材料形成或可身為兩分離條帶的材料。彈性構件16以一經拉張狀態配置於腰帶309中故在容許其放鬆時使其收縮及聚集腰帶中的非織造物材料,如第4圖所示。
彈性腰帶309固接至前及背面板301、302而其中彈性構件316處於一延伸狀態且其中前及背面板中的材料被嵌夾於腰帶中的非織造物薄層之間。或者,彈性腰帶可為一預製且分別接合至前及背面板301、302外側或內側之組件。可諸如藉由超音波熔接、熱熔接或黏劑性等任何適當方式來製造腰帶309及前及背面板301、302之間的腰帶接合部317。另一選項係自亦身為前及背面板301、302的部份且形成其連續延伸部之一或多個非彈性非織造物層來生成腰帶309。
彈性構件316亦配置於腳開口311的邊緣處且用來彈性化腳開口。位於腳開口處之彈性構件可屬於諸如彈性線、帶、泡綿條帶或類似物等任何種類的習知彈性元件。
核心區304的平面性延伸係由配置於一吸收性核心319與底座307間之一液體不可滲透性背片318所界定。液體不可滲透性背片318為長方形且吸收性核心為漏斗形。因此,液體不可滲透性背片318位於吸收性核心319及緊接在吸收性核心319外側的相鄰區域下方。胯面板303中的非織造物材料係配置於液體不可滲透性背片318的衣物面對側上。核心區304延伸至前及背面板301、302中使得這些面板中的彈性積層材320重疊於核心區304外部份中之液體不可滲透性背片318如第3圖所示。彈性積層材320配置於液體不可滲透性背片318的衣物面對側上。
如圖所示,根據本發明之彈性三層積層材320較佳形成褲尿布300的前及背面板301、302。然而,可以只製造彈性三層積層材320的各別前及背面板301、302部份。此等實施例中,如第3圖所示扁平狀態所示的底座之至少20%、較佳至少25%、更佳至少30%及最佳至少40%的總表面積係由根據本發明之彈性三層積層材構成。一範例中,彈性積層材可只使用在預定配置於穿戴者臀部上且因此形成彈性側面板之前及背面板301、302部份中。亦可能設計一褲物件而在核心區304與前及背面板301、302中的彈性積層材材料之間無任何重疊。
使用根據本發明之彈性積層材320時不需要任何額外彈性化側面板。若想要,可提供額外彈性化側面板,特別是彈性積層材320只配置於前及/或背面板301、302部份中之案例中尤然。
測試方法描述
抗拉強度 (參考:ASTM D 882)該方法測量不同彈性材料之抗拉強度及伸長。一經良好界定的測試件之抗拉強度及伸長係由一拉力測試器作測試。裝備:Instron 4301.連接至一電腦之拉力測試器.十字頭速度:500mm/分鐘.夾固距離:50mm
樣本製備:測試樣本自材料的整體寬度切割。樣本寬度將為25.4mm且若可能則長度至少比夾固距離更長50mm。樣本的邊緣務必平整且無破裂凹口。樣本在測試之前係於50%RH±5%RH及23℃±2℃中調控至少4小時(h)。
程序:拉力測試器根據裝備使用指示作校準且歸零。安裝樣本且確保其未歪斜或不平均地緊固。利用覆有緞帶(galloon)或類似材料的夾件來防止材料滑移。拉力測試器被啟動,且在材料破裂後停止(若未受自動控制)。若可能,忽略過早失效(亦即樣本在夾固處破裂或製備期間受損)所導致之測量。
下列結果係以拉力測試器/電腦表示:-最大力,N/25.4mm-最大力的伸長,%-破壞力,N/25.4mm-破壞力之伸長,%-曲點(knee point),N/%
彈性測試 該方法測量一彈性材料在重覆負載及卸載的循環中如何表現。樣本拉伸至一預定伸長且進行0與該預定伸長之間的一循環運動。記錄所想要的負載及卸載力。測量經放鬆材料之永久性亦即留存的伸長。
使用一能夠進行循環性運動且配備有一印表機/繪圖機或軟體簡報之拉力測試器Lloyd LRX。藉由將樣本切成25mm寬度及較佳比拉力測試器中的夾件間距更長20mm之長度來製備樣本。
拉力測試器根據裝備使用指示作校準。測試所需要的參數(負載及卸載力)調整成:.十字頭速度:500mm/分鐘.夾固距離:50mm.預負載:0.05N
樣本根據標記放置在夾件中且確保樣本1被垂直地定心且緊固於夾件中。拉力測試器被啟動且進行0及等於最高界定為第一負載之預定伸長之間的三個循環。最後循環之前,樣本放鬆1分鐘,然後藉由拉伸樣本直到偵測出一0.1N力且讀取伸長為止來測量永久性伸長。
一彈性材料係界定為一在上述測試中材料受到30%伸長之後於放鬆後具有小於10%的永久性伸長之材料。一30%伸長係指伸長至比樣本初始長度更長30%之一長度。
如此處所用的一非彈性材料係為一在已受到根據彈性測試所決定的一30%伸長之後於拉伸及放鬆後具有大於10%的一永久性伸長之材料。
穿刺強度 根據ASTM代號D3763-02來測量穿刺強度。從穿刺衝擊型測試,此方法產生負載vs.位移的資料。計算對於各樣本之最大負載。
範例
對於三樣本測量機器方向(MD)及交叉機器方向(CD)中之抗拉強度。
樣本A為一包含一內開孔狀三層彈性體性膜之習知經活化三層積層材,其包含基重36g/m2 之PE-SEBS-PE,及各有22g/m2 基重的PP(聚丙烯)之兩外層的紡黏材料。藉由將一紡黏層施加至膜同時膜處於一黏性狀態且譬如利用一壓敏性熱融黏劑(膠量3g/m2 )將另一紡黏層黏劑性積層至膜層來製造積層材。積層材被增量拉伸,其中非彈性紡黏層被拉伸至位於最大負載的伸長以下之一點以保留紡黏層中的部分強度。
積層材中的層之基重係為活化後之基重。活化前,個別層的基重係為:內膜層40g/m2 ,外紡黏層各25g/m2 ,而膠層3g/m2
樣本B為一包含一第一經活化雙積層材之三層積層材,第一經活化雙積層材係包含22g/m2 基重的一紡黏非織造物PP層及基重36g/m2 的PE-SEBS-PE的一開孔狀三層彈性體性膜,其已在70%拉伸下與一具有18g/m2 基重的紡黏非織造物層(來自聯盟工業(Union Industries SpA)的S1800PHW)作進一步積層。
樣本C為一包含樣本B的經活化雙積層材之三層積層材,其已在70%拉伸下與一具有20g/m2 基重的紡黏非織造物層(來自福路登堡(Fruedenberg Fliesstoffe KG)的Lutrasil 9520XF)作進一步積層。
樣本D為一包含樣本B的經活化雙積層材之三層積層材,其已在25%拉伸下與一具有20 g/m2 基重的經皺製非織造物紡黏物(來自第一品質(First Quality))作進一步積層。經皺製非織造物係在皺製時壓實至50%。
樣本E為與樣本D中相同但其中雙積層材在與經皺製非織造物層作積層期間拉伸40%之三層積層材。
測試結果顯示於下表1。
如表1所示,根據本發明的積層材B-E比起先前技藝三層積層材具有顯著更高的MD及CD抗拉強度及更高的抗穿刺性。

Claims (20)

  1. 一種用以製造一包含至少三層之可彈性拉伸積層材的方法,其包含下列步驟:a)製造一第一積層材,其包含一第一非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜(nonwoven web)及一彈性膜;b)藉由在至少一方向中增量拉伸來活化該第一積層材以使該第一積層材成為可彈性拉伸;c)將該經活化之第一積層材在至少一方向中拉伸10至200%;及d)將該經拉伸之第一積層材的彈性膜側積層至一第二非彈性非織造物網膜。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中以該彈性膜來擠製塗覆該第一纖維性非織造物網膜藉以製造該第一積層材。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之方法,其中該彈性膜被穿孔。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜係黏劑性結合至該經活化的第一積層材。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜係熱性或超音波性結合至該經活化的第一積層材。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第一積層材在與該第二非彈性非織造物網膜作積層之前係被拉伸其未拉伸延伸時的35至180%、更佳係被拉伸其未拉伸延伸時的50至150%且最佳係被拉伸70至120%。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜具有比該第一積層材的寬度更大之一寬度。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第一及/或該第二非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜包含熱塑性纖維。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項之方法,其中該第一及/或該第二非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜包含至少50%熱塑性纖維及較佳至少80%熱塑性纖維。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜為可伸展性。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第10項之方法,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜為一經皺製非織造物。
  12. 一種可彈性拉伸積層材,包含一第一非彈性非織造物網膜、一第二非彈性非織造物網膜及一位於該第一與該第二非織造物網膜之間的彈性膜,藉此該第一非彈性非織造物網膜及該彈性膜係形成一已藉由增量拉伸及部分地撕裂該第一非織造物網膜而成為彈性之第一彈性積層材的部份且該第一彈性積層材已在一經拉伸狀態下結合至該第二非彈性非織造物層,藉此使該積層材可彈性拉伸及在施加該第一非織造物網膜之表面上具有一平坦面,且在施加該第二非織造物網膜之相對表面上具有一略為聚集、縮攏狀面。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該彈性膜被穿孔。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第12或13項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中 該第一非織造物網膜為一融噴網膜或一紡黏網膜而該第二非織造物網膜為一融噴網膜或一紡黏網膜。
  15. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該第一非織造物網膜具有從10至80g/m2 的一基重且較佳具有從13至50g/m2 的一基重。
  16. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該彈性膜層具有10至120g/m2 之間、較佳15至60g/m2 之間的一基重。
  17. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該第一及/或該第二非彈性非織造物網膜包含熱塑性纖維。
  18. 如申請專利範圍第17項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該第一及/或該第二非彈性纖維性非織造物網膜包含至少50%的熱塑性纖維及較佳至少80%的熱塑性纖維。
  19. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜為可伸展性。
  20. 如申請專利範圍第12項之可彈性拉伸積層材,其中該第二非彈性非織造物網膜為一經皺製非織造物。
