1378025 九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係關於臈黏著裝置,特別是關於作為LCD玻璃基 板等用於工廠生產者,於配合用途切小以前之相對較大面 積的玻璃之雙面同時貼著保護膜之膜貼著裝置者。 【先前技術】 於例如作為LCD玻璃基板使用之板玻璃之製造工廠,在 於將製造之板玻璃搬送之搬送輸送機的最終站,為從其後 籲 之玻璃操作作業保護玻璃表面品質,於板玻璃之雙面貼著 保護膜。 於貼著該保護膜時,例如特開2002-34711 8號公報所記 載,一般將由膜捲筒送出之膜,使用壓著滾輪貼著於板玻 璃表面。 但是,於相對較大面積的板玻璃之雙面將保護膜雙面同 時,且自動貼著時,裝置變大型,且難以將膜貼著裝置直 接於板玻璃之生產線下游側,即線上導入。
又,由於提高玻璃的生產性,增加玻璃供給量及縮短玻 璃生產製程之週期之期望變強,需要對策。 有鑒於上述情形,本發明以提供直接導入板玻璃之生產 線,可連續同時於板玻璃的雙面貼著保護膜,且可使之為 相對較小的構造,因此佔有空間小即可,並且可容易地對 應縮短玻璃生產製程之週期之膜貼著裝置為目的。 【發明内容】 本發明之膜貼著裝置 其特徵在於:具有:輸送機,其 110782.doc 1378025 係將板玻璃以直立狀態支持且同時向水平方向搬送;膜送 出單兀’其係分別配置於藉由輸送機所搬送之板玻璃的移 動通路兩側;及垂直型夾持軋輥單元,其具備複數之夾持 軋輥’其具有對於由上述輸送機搬送而移動中的板玻璃之 雙面,隔著分別由上述輸送單元所送出之膜,而以夾住板 玻璃之方式被壓接之垂直方向的旋轉轴線。 上述垂直型夾持軋輥單元之複數夾持軋輥,設置成可對 於板玻璃之板面進退為佳。 又’使上述膜送出單元’係將捲繞膜而送出該膜之膜送 出用膜捲筒之旋轉軸線,及設於由該膜送出用膜捲筒至上 述夾持軋輥之膜送出路徑之複數夾持軋輥之旋轉軸線朝向 垂直方向而構成為縱型者。 上述夾持軋輥與上述膜送出用膜捲筒係互相同步地被旋 轉驅動為佳。 再者,本發明之膜貼著裝置,具備自動膜捲筒交換機構 為佳,於該自動膜捲筒交換機構,上述膜送出用捲筒,係 6又於從可於垂直軸線周圍轉動的旋轉盤上之上述垂直轴線 離開之位置,於關於該旋轉盤上之上述垂直軸線之對稱位 置處設置補充用膜捲筒。 此時’保持由上述補充用膜捲筒所導出之補充用膜之前 端之膜設定桿係設成可於待機位置與膜連接位置之間移 動,該膜設定桿具有於交換膜捲筒時由上述待機位置向上 述膜連接位置移動,而將上述補充用膜之前端連接於由上 述膜送出用膜捲筒被導出之膜之功能為佳。 110782.doc 1378025 又’進一步切割器,其係具有於上述補充膜之前端連接 於由上述膜送出用膜捲筒導出之膜且上述膜設定桿回到上 述待機位置後,切斷由上述膜送出用膜捲筒導出之膜者為 佳。 再者’由上述膜送出用膜捲筒導出之膜以上述切割器切 斷之後’上述旋轉盤旋轉而使上述補充用膜捲筒移動至膜 送出位置者為佳。 本發明之膜貼著裝置,具備垂直型夾持軋輥單元,其具 有對於藉由輸送機以直立狀態支持向水平方向移動中的板 玻璃之雙面,隔著從膜送出單元分別送出之膜夾板玻璃的 方式壓著之具有垂直方向之旋轉轴線之複數夾持軋輥,可 直接導入板玻璃之生產線連續地將膜貼著於板玻璃之雙 面’藉此’有即使增大單位時間之板玻璃之生產上時亦不 會延滞地對應之利點。 又’炎持軋輥單元本身’由於可將全體之位置以固定的 狀態進行膜貼著作業,故與該失持軋輥單元,具備具有垂 直方向之旋轉軸線之複數夾持軋輥而垂直型地構成相乘, 有使夾持軋輥單元之構造變簡單且輕量,可大幅減少設備 β又置空間’並且可滿足隨著玻璃生產量增大之生產製程之 週期縮短之要求之利點。 再者,夹持軋輥與上述膜送出用膜捲筒,藉由互相同步 方疋轉驅動’可避免於板玻璃表面貼著之膜產生皺紋等之 虞。 再者,本發明之膜貼著裝置,藉由具備自動膜捲筒交換 110782.doc 1378025 機構,有可將膜捲筒之交換以極短的時間進行,不會產生 玻鴇之損失,可滿足縮短玻璃生產製程週期之要求之利 點。 【實施方式】 以下,參照圖面詳細說明本發明之較佳的實施形態之構 造及其動作。 圖1係概略表示本發明之膜貼著裝置之一實施形態之形 態之平面圖。 於圖1,膜貼著裝置1,具備未示於圖之氣流輸送機,其 係支持板玻璃G之下端以直立狀態,向與該板玻璃G之板 面平打且水平方向漂浮般送者,板玻璃〇以該輸送機之移 動通路作為中心線CL,左右對稱地構成。 該膜貼著裝置1,配置有垂直型夾持軋輥單元,其具備 夾著中心線CL相對之單邊各2個夾持軋輥3U(上游側)、 3D(下游側)。夾持軋輥317、3D,與板玻璃(}之搬送速度同 步以步進馬違驅動,圖左側之夾持軋輥3U、3D向順時鍾 方向,圖右鲥之夾持軋輥3U、3D向逆時鐘方向於垂直軸 線之周圍旋轉地構成。 於夾持軋輥3U、3D之間,分別配置有引導膜F於一定範 圍,輔助膜貼著,且進行夾持軋輥單元2之構造補強(位置 精度、扭曲精度之補強等)之膜導板4,夾持軋輥3U、31)及 膜導板4,以為示於圖之空氣唧筒,可向中心線進退地 構成® 於各夾持軋輥單元2之背後,設有旋轉盤7,其係於垂直 110782.doc 1378025 轴6之周圍可每轉動180度者(左邊的旋轉盤7向順時鍾方 ° 右邊的旋轉盤7向逆時鐘方向旋轉),於該旋轉盤7 上’在對於垂直軸6互相對稱之位置配設有分別可於垂直 轴線之周圍轉動之膜送出用膜捲筒8及補充用膜捲筒9。

膜F之别端,保持於膜設定桿15之卩點。該膜設定桿η, 將其上端與下端以未示於圖之滑動座保持,藉由空氣哪 2可在仴動座上於圖1所不待機位置,及以假想線他表 示沿著移動料之後述之右邊的摩連接位置之間移動地設 置。再者’於P點之補充用膜π之前端之保持,例如以形 成於膜設定桿15之狹縫等之吸引保持為佳。 於上述膜設;^桿15之側邊,沿著上述移動通路^可移 動於圖!所示待機位置及其左方之膜切斷位置之間地設有 切斷膜F之切割器16’係於與上述滑動座同樣的滑動座上 110782.doc 於以可沿著上述移動通路ML移動之垂直滑動座上上下滑 行而進行膜切斷動作地構成。 然後’以具有如此構成之旋轉盤7,補充用膜捲筒9,膜 设定桿15及切割器16構成自動膜捲筒交換機構2〇。 其次,參照圖2A〜圖2F說明該膜貼著裝置1之膜貼著動 作。再者,為簡化圖面,於圖2A〜圖2F,省略除了夾持軋 輥單元2之外之中心線Cl右邊的機構。 首先,於圖1所示於初期位置之狀態,由膜送出用膜捲 筒8延伸之臈F之前端部,達到在於開放狀態之夾持軋輥單 元2之上游侧夾持軋輥3U、3U。 (A) 合閉上游側夾持軋輥 於圖1所示初期狀態,板玻璃G之先端進入上游側夾持軋 軺i 3U、3U之間,則夾持軋報3U、3U分別經由膜f向板玻 璃G之雙面壓著》 (B) 送膜及玻璃 與板玻璃G之移動速度同步,轉動夾持軋報3U、3U、 3D、3D,與此同時,膜送出用膜捲筒8、8亦與夾持軋輥 3U、3U、3D、3D同步開始轉動,開始膜貼著。 (C) 合閉下游側夾持軋輥 當板玻璃G之前端進入下游側夾持軋輥3D、3D間,則夾 持軋輥3D、3D分別經由膜F向板玻璃G之雙面壓著》 (D) 開上游側夾持軋輥 將上游側夾持軋輥3U、3U大開,僅以下游側夾持軋輥 3D、3D壓著之狀態,使膜送出用膜捲筒8、8與夾持軋輥 110782.doc •10- 1378025 3U、3U、3D、3D同步轉動。 (E) 膜切斷 板玻璃G之後端接近上游側夹持軋輥3U、3U,則上游側 夾持軋輥3U、3U之開度變小,同時切割器18、18於板玻 璃G之後端將各膜G切斷。 (F) 送膜及玻璃 藉由僅以下游側夾持軋輥3D、3D之壓著結束膜貼著, 回到圖1所示初期狀態。 其次’參照圖3A〜圖3H說明膜送出用膜捲筒8之膜F之殘 存TC接近零時自動膜捲筒交換機構20之動作。再者,為簡 化圖面’於圖3 A〜圖3H’僅顯示中心線CL左邊的機構。 (A) 初期位置 與圖1所示狀態相同。 (B) 殘存膜與新的膜之連接 膜設定桿15移動至右方膜之連接位置,將補充用膜(新 臈)F’之前端連接於殘存膜f。作為此時之連接方法,可考 慮於新膜F,之前端之連接部貼著黏著材(或塗佈黏著劑), 押附於殘存膜F接著之方法,及使膜設定桿15具有加熱功 能’熱(低溫)熔接之方法。 、 (C) 送膜 殘存膜F與新膜F’,均呈雙重的狀態送向夾持軋輥扣 側。 (D) 膜設定桿恢復 使膜設定桿1 5恢復到待機位置。 110782.doc 1378025 (E) 切割器向膜切斷位置移動 切割器16向左邊的膜切斷位置移動。 (F) 膜切斷 藉由切割器16切斷殘存膜F。 (G)切割器恢復 使切割器16恢復到待機位置。 (H)膜捲筒交換 旋轉盤7旋轉180度將補充用膜捲筒9移至膜送出位置, • 進行膜捲筒之交換後,將含有一定量雙重部分之膜以計時 器空送向夾持軋輥單元2外排出切斷。於膜捲筒之補充位 置設定新的補充用膜捲筒,且將該補充用膜捲筒之膜前端 設定於膜設定桿1 5,成初期狀態。 由以說明可知,根據本實施形態,具備垂直型夾持軋較 單元2’其具有對於藉由輸送機以直立狀態支持向水平方 向移動中的板玻璃G之雙面,經由從膜f送出單元1〇分別送 出之膜夾板玻璃G的方式壓著之複數夾持軋輥3u、3U、 _ 3D、3D,可直接導入板玻璃g之生產線連續地將膜F貼著 於板玻璃G之雙面’藉此,有即使增大單位時間之板玻璃 G之生產上時亦不會延滯地對應。 又,夾持軋輥單元2本身,由於可將全體之位置以固定 的狀態進行貼著作業,故與該夾持軋輥單元2 ,具備具有 垂直方向之旋轉軸線之複數夹持軋輥31;、3U、3D、3〇而 垂直型地構成相乘,有使夾持軋輥單元2之構造變簡單且 輕量’可大幅減少設備設置空間。 110782.doc 12 再者,夾持軋輥3U、3D與上述膜送出用膜捲筒8,藉由 互相同步旋轉驅動,可避免於板玻璃G表面貼著之膜產生 敵紋等之虞。 再者,本發明之膜貼著裝置丨,藉由具備自動膜捲筒交 '機構2,有可將膜捲甸g、9之交換以極短的時間進行, 不會產生玻璃之損失,可滿足縮短玻璃生產製程週期之要 求之利點 【圖式簡單說明】 圖1係示意表示本發明之膜貼著裝置之一實施形態之形 態之平面圖。 圖2A〜圖2F係供作說明圖i之膜貼著裝置之膜貼著動作 之平面圖。 圖3A〜圖3H係供作說明圖!之膜貼著裝置之膜捲筒交換 動作之平面圖。 ' 【主要元件符號說明】 1 膜貼著裝置 2 失持軋輥單元 3U、3D 夾持軋輥 4 膜導板 6 垂直軸 7 旋轉盤 8 膜送出用膜捲筒 9 補充用膜捲筒 10 垂直型膜送出單元 110782.doc 1378025 11、12 滾輪 13 檎縱器 15 膜設定桿 16 切割器 18 切割器 20 自動膜捲筒交換機構 CL 中心線 F 膜 F' 補充用膜 G 板玻璃 ML 移動通路 P 點 110782.doc ·14·

Claims (1)
