技术领域
本发明涉及薄膜粘贴装置,尤其涉及作为LCD玻璃基板等用,在工厂中生产、并配合用途切断成小块的以前比较大面积的平板玻璃的两面上,两面同时粘贴保护膜的薄膜粘贴装置。
背景技术
例如,在作为LCD玻璃基板使用的平板玻璃的制造工厂中,在对制造的平板玻璃进行输送的输送传送带的最终位置,为在其后的玻璃处理操作中保护玻璃的表面品质,在平板玻璃的两面粘贴保护膜。
在该保护膜的粘贴时,例如特开2002-347118号公报中记载,通常使用压接辊将从薄膜辊送出的薄膜粘贴在平板玻璃的两面。
但是,在对比较大面积的平板玻璃的两面同时粘贴保护薄膜,且自动地粘贴的情况下,装置也随之大型化,且在平板玻璃的制造生产线的下游侧难以直接即串联导入薄膜粘贴装置。
此外,因为强烈期望玻璃的生产性提高、玻璃供给量增加及玻璃生产过程的循环时间的缩短,所以需要与此相适应。
发明内容
鉴于上述情况,本发明的目的在于能够直接导入平板玻璃的制造生产线,并在平板玻璃的两面同时连续地粘贴保护薄膜,且比较小型地构成,从而占有空间少,并可容易地与玻璃生产过程的循环时间的缩短相对应的薄膜粘贴装置。
根据本发明的薄膜粘贴装置,其在平板玻璃的两面上,两面同时粘贴保护薄膜,所述薄膜粘贴装置的特征在于,具备:立式气浮传送带,其支撑所述平板玻璃的下端且以直立状态,沿与该平板玻璃的板面平行且水平 方向悬浮输送所述平板玻璃;薄膜送出单元,其分别配置在利用该立式气浮传送带输送的所述平板玻璃的移动通路的两侧;立式夹持辊单元,其具备具有垂直方向的旋转轴线的多个夹持辊,该多个夹持辊对利用所述立式气浮传送带输送且移动中的所述平板玻璃的两面,以经由从所述薄膜送出单元分别送出的薄膜而夹着所述平板玻璃的方式进行压接,所述立式夹持辊单元的多个夹持辊以相对于所述平板玻璃的板面可进退地设置。
所述薄膜送出单元优选构成为立式,即卷绕所述薄膜并送出该薄膜的薄膜送出用薄膜辊的旋转轴线,和在从该薄膜送出用薄膜辊至所述夹持辊的薄膜送出路径上设置的多个辊的旋转轴线朝向垂直方向。
所述夹持辊与所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊优选相互同步地旋转驱动。
此外,根据本发明的薄膜粘贴装置优选具备自动薄膜辊交换机构,在该自动薄膜辊交换机构中,所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊设置于可绕垂直轴线转动的旋转盘上的离开所述垂直轴线的位置,在关于该旋转盘上的所述垂直轴线对称的位置处,设有补充用薄膜辊。
在该情况下,优选对从所述补充用薄膜辊导出的引出薄膜的前端进行保持的薄膜设定杆在待机位置与薄膜连接位置之间可移动地设置,且该薄膜设定杆具有在薄膜辊交换时,从所述待机位置向所述薄膜连接位置移动,从而将所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上的功能。
此外,优选还具备刀具,其在所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上,且所述薄膜设定杆返回到所述待机位置后,切断从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜。
此外,优选在所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜被所述刀具切断后,需使所述补充用薄膜辊移动至薄膜送出位置的旋转盘发生转动。
发明效果
基于本发明的薄膜粘贴装置通过具备具有多个夹持辊的立式夹持辊单元,该所个夹持辊对利用传送带以直立状态支撑、沿水平方向移动中的平板玻璃的两面,经由从薄膜送出单元分别送出的薄膜而夹住平板玻璃的方式进行压接,且具有垂直方向的旋转轴线。由此,具有能够直接导入平板玻璃的制造生产线,从而连续地将薄膜粘贴在平板玻璃的两面,由此,即使在每单位时间的平板玻璃的生产量增大的情况下,仍能够没有迟滞的处置的优点。
此外,因为夹持辊单元自身以固定整体的位置的状态,进行薄膜粘贴作业,所以配合该夹持辊单元具备具有垂直方向的旋转轴线的多个夹持辊而立式地构成,夹持辊单元的构造简单且重量轻,能够大幅减少设备设置空间,并能满足伴随玻璃生产量增大的生产过程的循环时间缩短的要求。
此外,夹持辊与薄膜送出用薄膜辊相互同步地旋转驱动,由此,能够避免在平板玻璃的表面上粘贴的薄膜产生折皱等的可能性。
此外,基于本发明的薄膜粘贴装置具备自动薄膜交换机构,由此,能够在极短时间内进行薄膜辊的交换,具有不发生玻璃的损失,并能够满足伴随生产量增大的循环时间要求的优点。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图,对本发明的优选的实施方式的结构及其动作进行详细地说明。
图1示意地表示本发明的薄膜粘贴装置的一实施方式的俯视图。
图1中,薄膜粘贴装置1具备支撑平板玻璃G的下端且以直立状态,沿与该平板玻璃G的板面平行且水平方向悬浮输送的未图示的立式气浮传送带,并将该传送带形成的平板玻璃G的移动通路设为中心线CL,左右对称地构成。
该薄膜粘贴装置1配置有具备夹着中心线CL对置的每单侧两个夹持辊3U(上游侧)、3D(下游侧)的立式夹持辊单元2。夹持辊3U、3D与平板玻璃G的输送速度同步,由伺服电动机驱动,且构成为图的左侧的夹持辊3U、3D绕垂直轴线顺时针方向旋转,图的右侧的夹持辊3U、3D绕垂直轴线逆时针方向旋转。
在夹持辊3U、3D之间分别配置在一定范围内引导薄膜F,辅助薄膜粘贴,并进行夹持辊单元2的构造加强(位置精度·扭曲精度的加强等)的薄膜引导板4,且夹持辊3U、3D及薄膜引导板4通过未图示的气缸, 相对于中心线CL可进退地构成。
在各夹持辊单元2的背后,设有可绕垂直轴6进行180度转动的旋转盘7(左侧的旋转盘7沿顺时针方向旋转,右侧的旋转盘7沿顺时针方向转动),且在该旋转板7上,在对于垂直轴9相互对称的位置处设有可分别绕垂直轴线转动的薄膜送出用薄膜辊8及补充用薄膜辊9。
薄膜送出用薄膜辊8通过伺服电动机与夹持辊3U、3D同步地旋转驱动,并与在从该薄膜送出用薄膜辊8至夹持辊3U的薄膜送出路径上设置的辊11、12及排出杆(escape bar)13共同构成立式薄膜送出单元10。此外,辊11、12也与薄膜送出用薄膜辊8同样地围绕垂直轴线转动,排出杆13也沿垂直方向延伸。
上述辊11、12是用于调整薄膜F的张力的张力调节辊,此外,上述排出杆13沿图的上下方向运动,且为利用刀具18(后述)容易地进行薄膜切割,具有使卷绕在夹持辊3U上的薄膜与夹持辊3U稍许分离的功能。
伴随薄膜送出用薄膜辊8,从在旋转板7上设置的补充用薄膜辊9导出补充用薄膜F′的前端,作为引出薄膜,且该补充用薄膜F′的前端由沿垂直方向延伸的薄膜设定杆15保持在P点。该薄膜设定杆15由未图示的滑动基座保持其上端和下端,并利用气缸,在图1所示的待机位置与沿由假想线ML表示的移动通路的后述的右侧的薄膜连接位置之间,可移动地设置在滑动基座上。而且,对P点处的补充用薄膜F′的前端的保持优选例如由薄膜设定杆15上形成的狭缝等产生的真空保持。
在上述薄膜设定杆15的侧方,在图1所示的待机位置与其左侧的薄膜切断位置之间,沿上述移动通路ML可移动地设置用于切断薄膜F的刀具16,该刀具16构成为,在与上述滑动基座相同的滑动基座上可沿上述移动通路移动的垂直的滑动基座上,上下行进,从而进行薄膜切断动作。
并且具有此种结构的旋转盘7通过补充用薄膜辊9、薄膜设定杆15及刀具16构成自动薄膜辊交换机构20。
接下来,参照图2A~图2F,对该薄膜粘贴装置1的薄膜粘贴动作进行说明。而且,为简略化图面,在图2A~图2F中,除夹持辊单元2,省略中心线CL右侧的机构。
首先,在位于图1所示的初始位置的状态下,从薄膜送出用薄膜辊8 延伸的薄膜F的前端部到达处于开放状态的夹持辊单元2的上游侧夹持辊3U、3U上。
(A)上游侧夹持辊闭合
在图1所示的初始状态下,当平板玻璃G的前端进入上游侧夹持辊3U、3U之间时,夹持辊3U、3U分别夹着薄膜F压接于平板玻璃G的两面。
(B)薄膜及玻璃进给
与平板玻璃G的移动速度同步,夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D转动,与此同时,薄膜送出用薄膜辊8、8也与夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D同步地开始转动,从而开始薄膜粘贴。
(C)下游侧夹持辊闭合
当平板玻璃G的前端进入下游侧夹持辊3D、3D之间时,夹持辊3D、3D分别夹着薄膜F压接在平板玻璃G的两面。
(D)上游侧夹持辊开启
在上游侧夹持辊3U、3U大张开,仅下游侧夹持辊3D、3D压接的状态下,薄膜送出用薄膜辊8、8与夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D同步地转动。
(E)薄膜切断
当平板玻璃G的后端接近上游侧夹持辊3U、3U时,夹持辊3U、3U的开度变小,同时刀具18、18在平板玻璃G的后端切断各薄膜F。
(F)薄膜及玻璃进给
仅利用下游侧夹持辊3D、3D的压接,薄膜粘贴完成,并返回到图1所示的初始状态。
接下来,参照图3A~图3H,对薄膜送出用薄膜辊8中的薄膜F的残存量接近零时的自动薄膜辊交换机构20的动作进行说明。而且,为简略化图面,在图3A~图3H中,仅表示中心线CL左侧的机构。
(A)初始位置
与图1所示的状态相同。
(B)残留薄膜与新的薄膜的连接
薄膜设定杆15移动至右侧的薄膜连接位置,从而将补充用薄膜(新薄膜)F′的前端与残留薄膜F连接。作为此情况的连接方法,考虑在新 薄膜F′的前端的连接部粘贴粘接材料(或涂敷粘接剂),并向残留薄膜F按压而粘接的方法,和使薄膜设定杆15具有加热功能,从而热(低温)熔接的方法。
(C)薄膜进给
残留薄膜F在与新薄膜F′构成两重的状态下,向夹持辊3U侧进给。
(D)薄膜设定杆复位
薄膜设定杆15复位到待机位置。
(E)刀具向薄膜切断位置移动
刀具16向左侧的薄膜切断位置移动。
(F)薄膜切断
利用刀具16切断残留薄膜F。
(G)刀具复位
刀具16复位到待机位置。
(H)薄膜辊交换
旋转盘7旋转180度,补充用薄膜辊9移动到薄膜送出位置,且在进行薄膜辊的交换后,含有两重部分的一定量的薄膜以计时器空转,向夹持辊单元2外排出,并切断。在薄膜辊的补充位置,设置新的补充用薄膜辊,且该补充用薄膜的前端设置于薄膜设定杆15,从而构成初始状态。
从以上说明可知,根据本实施方式,通过具备具有多个夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D的立式夹持辊单元2,该所个夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D对利用传送带以直立状态支撑、沿水平方向移动中的平板玻璃G的两面,经由从薄膜送出单元10分别送出的薄膜F而夹住平板玻璃G的方式进行压接,由此,能够直接导入平板玻璃G的制造生产线,从而连续地将薄膜F粘贴在平板玻璃G的两面,由此,即使在每单位时间的平板玻璃G的生产量增大的情况下,仍能够没有迟滞的处置。
此外,因为夹持辊单元2自身以固定中心位置的状态,进行薄膜粘贴作业,所以配合该夹持辊单元2具备具有垂直方向的旋转轴线的多个夹持辊3U、3U、3D、3D而立式地构成,夹持辊单元2的构造简单且重量轻,能够大幅减少设备设置空间。
此外,夹持辊3U、3D与薄膜送出用薄膜辊8相互同步地旋转驱动, 由此,能够避免在平板玻璃G的表面上粘贴的薄膜F产生折皱等的可能性。
此外,基于本发明的薄膜粘贴装置1具备自动薄膜交换机构20,由此,能够在短时间内进行薄膜辊8、9的交换,具有不发生玻璃的损失,并能够满足伴随生产量增大的循环时间要求的优点。

Claims (9)

1.一种薄膜粘贴装置,其在平板玻璃的两面上,两面同时粘贴保护薄膜,
所述薄膜粘贴装置的特征在于,具备:
立式气浮传送带,其支撑所述平板玻璃的下端且以直立状态,沿与该平板玻璃的板面平行且水平方向悬浮输送所述平板玻璃;
薄膜送出单元,其分别配置在利用该立式气浮传送带输送的所述平板玻璃的移动通路的两侧;
立式夹持辊单元,其具备具有垂直方向的旋转轴线的多个夹持辊,该多个夹持辊对利用所述立式气浮传送带输送且移动中的所述平板玻璃的两面,以经由从所述薄膜送出单元分别送出的薄膜而夹着所述平板玻璃的方式进行压接,
所述立式夹持辊单元的多个夹持辊以相对于所述平板玻璃的板面可进退地设置。
2.如权利要求1所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
所述薄膜送出单元构成为立式,即卷绕所述薄膜并送出该薄膜的薄膜送出用薄膜辊的旋转轴线,和在从该薄膜送出用薄膜辊至所述夹持辊的薄膜送出路径上设置的多个辊的旋转轴线朝向垂直方向。
3.如权利要求2所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
所述夹持辊与所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊相互同步地被旋转驱动。
4.如权利要求2所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊设置于可绕垂直轴线转动的旋转盘上的离开所述垂直轴线的位置,在关于该旋转盘上的所述垂直轴线对称的位置处,设有补充用薄膜辊,
对从所述补充用薄膜辊导出的引出薄膜的前端进行保持的薄膜设定杆在待机位置与薄膜连接位置之间可移动地设置,且该薄膜设定杆具有在薄膜辊交换时,从所述待机位置向所述薄膜连接位置移动,从而将所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上的功能。
5.如权利要求3所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊设置于可绕垂直轴线转动的旋转盘上的离开所述垂直轴线的位置,在关于该旋转盘上的所述垂直轴线对称的位置处,设有补充用薄膜辊,
对从所述补充用薄膜辊导出的引出薄膜的前端进行保持的薄膜设定杆在待机位置与薄膜连接位置之间可移动地设置,且该薄膜设定杆具有在薄膜辊交换时,从所述待机位置向所述薄膜连接位置移动,从而将所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上的功能。
6.如权利要求2所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
还具备刀具,其在所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上,且所述薄膜设定杆返回到所述待机位置后,切断从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜。
7.如权利要求4所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
还具备刀具,其在所述补充用薄膜的前端连接在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜上,且所述薄膜设定杆返回到所述待机位置后,切断从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜。
8.如权利要求6所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜被所述刀具切断后,需使所述补充用薄膜辊移动至薄膜送出位置的所述旋转盘发生转动。
9.如权利要求7所述的薄膜粘贴装置,其特征在于,
在从所述薄膜送出用薄膜辊导出的薄膜被所述刀具切断后,需使所述补充用薄膜辊移动至薄膜送出位置的所述旋转盘发生转动。
