Γ298727 (1) 九、發明說明 , 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係關於一種具有金屬效果表面之塑料模塑物 及其於航空機艙內部佈置之使用。 【先前技術】
已經知道用於航空機艙內部佈置之塑料模塑物,並以 Europlex®F 和 Europlex®PPSU 名稱由 Rohm GmbH & Co· KG.售於市面上。
Europlex® F是一種耐衝擊性防火級並經無光澤著色 的聚碳酸酯(PC),類似地,Europlex® PPSU是一種耐衝擊 性防火級並經無光澤著色的聚碳酸酯(PPSUs),這些材料 符合OSU 65/65試驗(FAR 2 5.8 5 3的釋熱試驗)的要求。PC 符合FAR 2 5.8 5 3 (a)(l)(i)、(a)(l)(ii)的要求且亦符合煙霧 密度和毒性的要求,PPSU亦符合FAR 2 5.8 5 3 (c)的要求。 平板施用厚度由0.8至8.0毫米,寬度是至少1,400毫米 。由平板製得的產物例爲座椅外覆物、托盤、門外覆物、 門框外覆物和燈框。 以前通常使用金屬效果塗層提供以無光澤的模塑組合 物爲基礎和由Europlex® F或Europlex® PPSU組成之無光 澤塑料模塑物金屬效果裝飾。但此塗層具有不特別耐刮和 耐衝擊的缺點,其結果是,在航空機艙中之每日操作使得 經塗覆的物件不美觀。 於無光澤模塑組成物使用習知的金屬顏料,通常無法 -4-
(S (2) 1298727 達到塗覆效果。此外,習知以經細磨的金屬顆粒爲基礎之 金屬效果顏料因爲具有毛細作用(w i c k i n g a c t i ο η),所以會 損及含有此物之塑料模塑物的防火效能。 【發明內容】
發明目的之一是要發展一種模塑組合物,其具有用於 塑料模塑物的典型金屬光澤,其不會損及塑料模塑物的防 火性,所以不會使得這些塑料模塑物無法被用於航空機艙 構築。此金屬效果表面更有助於航空機艙中之一般應力之 強化。金屬效果表面的察覺顏色必須,如,相關於RAL 9006/9007色度。所用顏料於PPSU加工溫度(擠壓期間內, 約3 5 0-3 80 °C螺旋溫度)必須安定。 具無光澤著色的母體物料(或無光澤母體物料)無法達 到足夠的金屬效果(此效果被吸收)。以透光的母體模塑物 組合物爲基礎之初始狀態較佳,但也有防火效能方面的問 題。 藉具金屬效果表面之以透光的防火性PC爲基礎之防 火性塑料模塑物和PPSU模塑組成物達到此目的,所用顏 料包含Iriodin®顏料和視情況而使用之影響顏色濃淡的著 色劑。 【實施方式】 可用於塑料模塑物之塑料不僅包含透光的防火性聚碳 酸酯(PC),也包含了聚楓(PSUs)、聚苯颯(PPSUs)和聚醚 -5- (3) 1298727 颯(PESs)(製造商:BayerAG,BASF,Solvay)。
Iriodin®顏料由Merck KGaA售於市面上。 例如,Iriodin®顏料以相關塑料和Iriodin®顏料之母 體物料形式摻入。此母體物料包含2至50重量%Iri〇din®顏 料,餘者是塑料粒。適當時,可添加慣用輔助劑或著色劑
欲擠壓此塑料模塑物,母體物料加至塑料模塑物組成 物中,使得Iriodin⑧顏料的量相當於混合說明書中所述。
慣用擠壓機用以擠壓本發明之調合物以得到平板。以 P P S U爲例,熔解溫度約3 5 0 · 3 8 0 °C,拋光溫度約1 8 0 °C, 以聚碳酸爲例,熔解溫度約2 7 0 - 2 8 0 °C,拋光溫度約1 2 0 °C 慣用方法(如:熱成型)可用以進一步形成塑料模塑物 , 〇 • 可藉由改變Iriodin®顏料的濃度和顏色而仿效金、銀 φφ 、古銀或銅金屬。 實例: 實例1 調合物 9 8.7 9 9 % 1 % 0.2 % 0.001% PPSU模塑組成物,透光 (Europlex®PPSU 99470) • Iriodin 123 Bright Lustre Satin

1298727 (1) 十、申請專利範圍 附件2 A : 第94 1 2 1 674號專利申請案 中文申請專利範圍替換本 民國96年2月15日修正 1 · 一種防火性塑料模塑物,其由透光的防火性聚碳酸 酯(PC)或聚苯礪(PPSU)所組成,其具有金屬效果表面,其 特徵在於所用的顏料包含Iriodin®顏料,且該Iriodin®顏 料的量以製造該塑料模塑物之模塑組成物計爲〇. 1至丨〇重 量%。 2 · —種製造申請專利範圍第1項之防火性塑料模塑物 之方法,其中將母體物料中所須的Iriodin®顏料量加入至 模塑組成物中,並以目前已知的方式擠壓而得到塑料模塑 物。 3 ·如申請專利範圍第2項之方法,其中塑料模塑物的 厚度爲1.0至12毫米。 4·如申請專利範圍第1項之防火性塑料模塑物,其中 其察覺色係根據RAL 9007 HR。 5 ·如申請專利範圍第1項之防火性塑料模塑物,其中 其察覺色係根據RAL 9006 HR。
